Great hotel for a great price - the sacrifice is being further away from the main areas in Tokyo. However getting to Shibuya is easy and the surrounding area actually has a lot to experience.

We definitely love this hotel the most. It's quiet and not super busy like other hotels in Tokyo. The breakfast buffet is amazing. I'm sure all the guests are pleased with the quality of food and the services. The view from the room and the dinning area are wonderful. We could see the top of Mt. Fuji from the restaurant! I love the big public bath on 29th floor. This hotel is our home hotel for sure when we are in Tokyo. There is also a convenient non-stop transportation bus service from the hotel to Haneda International Airport with a reasonable price. When you have multiple luggages, it really helps not to take trains to get there.

The hotel is in a good location, part of a complex that includes a shopping centre and a train station, and not too far from Haneda Airport. There is an airport bus stop eight at the entrance to the hotel.
The rooms are a little larger than a typical Japanese business hotel, so they are comfortable. Get a River View room for a chance to see Mt. Fuji on a clear day.
The public bath is a welcome amenity. It is very relaxing. For those unacustomed to a public bath, there is information in the hotel about the dos and donts.
The breakfast buffet is not luxurious, but is perfectly adequate. They even provide takeout cups so you can take coffee or tea with you when you leave the dining room.

The city view from our room was amazing, however, I did not like taking two elevators just to get to the room. Also, the entrance to this hotel can be confusing since the sliding door entrance is painted black - it can be easily mistaken as a wall. Other than that, the cleanliness and room service was good. Close to the train station and has a shopping district nearby. There limo bus to HND airport is right at the entrance of the hotel so it is very convenient.

Obviously a business hotel, and probably caters mostly to Rakuten biz visitors. Single room is quite spacious for Tokyo. Only wish is for a work table - there's only a small bedside table which is too low for working on laptop, and too high if sitting on the floor.

Amazing to have a shuttle that takes you to the hotel directly from the airport. The hotel is attached to a shopping center/mall which is next to/attached to the train station so it is easy to get around. The selection of restaurants and stores is fine for a few days but may get boring for longer stays. Thankful that they had washing machines.

When I visit Tokyo it’s usually for work. This hotel is close to the office and a lot of local amenities. There is a walking/jogging path that goes along the lake which is really pretty and sunrise and sunset. The hotel staff are also so very nice, and polite.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. Beware if you are coming from Narita like we were , it’s another 2 hours ! However our hotel room was incredible- 1840. Corner room with incredible views and very comfortable beds. All amenities were supplied including toothbrushes/ hairbrushes / shavers etc .. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the Futako Tamagawa station and the precinct is lovely and feels very safe. Beware that restaurants in this area close at 10pm. The hotel also has a small onsen which is lovely. Would highly recommend.

Overall I had a great experience here. Most staff were very kind and the breakfast here was amazing. Two things I noticed were, some young staff didn’t provide good service and the trash bag with trash inside was left by the cleaning staff right next to my door. If the hallway is kept clean without trash bags right next to my door everyday it would’ve been a perfect stay.

Convienent location - close to Shibuya, many shops/restaurants just below the hotel. Staff are very nice and helpful with Amazon packages and also to resolve my issues with highway bus online reservation and payment. We stayed at this hotel for the last 2 nights of our 2 weeks trip to Japan. We picked the hotel because 1. It’s close to our son’s apartment 2. It’s close to the station and surround shopping areas. 3. Close to Tokyo. The view from our upgraded corner room was amazing and bathroom is wonderful! The staff at the front desk were all nice. We didn’t know in advance but there was a non-stop bus service with fee from the hotel to Haneda Airport! That was such a relieve for us not to take trains to the airport with 4 luggages on the last day in Japan.

The parking structure is underground. There are 2 sides to the building, the hotel side and the work-space side. The hotel side has 3 elevators. 2 elevators get you to the 30th floor where the reception desk is located, however, 1 of those elevators get you to the parking area (so if you come down the left elevator and need to down to the parking area, you need to exit the elevator on the 1st floor, select the down button and enter the elevator on the right). Once you reach the 30th floor and check in, you have access to another elevator that is only accessible to hotel guests. That elevator takes you to either the 28th or 29th floor by access of your hotel room card. The 29th floor houses vending machines, a microwave, 2 washer/dryer combos and an ice machine, as well as, a public bath for men, a separate public bath for women that utilizes a separate key card for. The rooms was a small but decent size. The room lights for the entrance and room side are on the bedside table. There are 2 magnets on the backside of the door what you're supposed to put on the front side of the door if you want the cleaning staff to come in and throw the trash, change the towels, or both. We didn't realize those were magnets until day 4 as they look like they're fixed to the door. The restroom light is located outside of the bathroom door. The room does have blackout shades that you have to pull down which was great. The headboard has lights on both sides and outlets in them as well.

The hotel is located on the top 3 floors of the Rakuten building so when you enter you take the elevator to the 30th floor for reception. The hotel location is extremely convenient - 5 minutes from the train station and a giant shopping centre (with the most incredible gourmet food on the basement floor). The hotel itself was impeccably clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Most spoke good English so communication was easy or we just used Google Translate to communicate our requests.
The hotel also has a complimentary public bath with segregated rooms for men and women. The baths were nicely designed and very clean, definitely recommend taking advantage of this feature of the hotel.
Our favourite part was definitely the view from our room.
A few additional details:
- there was a kettle and cups in the room but no tea or coffee, however this did not affect our comfort at all as there are so many convenience stores around if you want a drink either early in the morning or late at night

This was a really nice hotel, it within walking distance to Futakotamagawa parkrun, if thats something your interested in. I loved how close the train station was and it was easy to head out from there. Its not Really close to main heart of Tokyo.

we enjoyed our stay at Futako Tamagawa hotel, May 12 to the 24th. We enjoy the beautiful views from the 28 floors, looking down at the train station and catching a glimpse at the Fuji mountain. The public hot that was spectacular. The only drawback was the rooms were just a little bit too small for 12 days day. overall i will give this place a five star. The staff was excellent and helpful.
