The staff were very nice, the room spacious and clean, and the location was perfect.

Unfortunately, I did struggle to sleep past 8am because I could hear so much noise from other people in the hotel - perhaps it was just the one room I had.

On the whole, however, it was great!

Everything was up to date and very clean. It’s in a great location near tons of shops and restaurants. I had a great stay and would definitely be back if I am to return.

Very nice accommodation. The staff there were extremely helpful. The location is excellent, central and within walking distance of everything you need in Cagliari. The room was clean and spacious. The mattress was a bit firm, and the air conditioning was a bit noisy.

My room was on the first floor overlooking the front of the building via the balconies. This was nice, but the location can be noisy also, especially on a weekend. If you’re staying here, would highly recommend Dulcis’ next door for breakfast, lunch, or snacks.

Me and my partner loved our 1 week stay at arcobaleno rooms. The staff were helpful and so kind. The rooms were immaculate, everything to see is within walking distance. The restaurants are all so close by and their is so much choice. The beds are comfortable and clean, the shower pressure is amazing. So close to the airport and the train station making everything easy and convenient. All in all an anazing stay would highly recommend!

The apartment was very comfortable and very central. Lots of shops and restaurants close by. One of the bigger rooms I glanced into had a balcony/terrace which looked amazing (from outside the door). The only issue I had was not being able to get onto wifi. I would have tried harder if I was staying longer. Highly recommended.

My favorite stay for my entire trip. Right in the city center in proximity to the best restaurants where I fell I love with maialetto arrostò and culurgiones. Martina was exceptionally helpful and patient with my many questions. Her advice made my trip the most memorable of my 6 weeks journey throughout Europe. Very relaxing stay, and the beds are damn comfortable. No springs! I definitely want to come back to Sardinia, and would easily stay here again.

Perfect position, 5 min of walk from the train station which brings directly to the airoport. 5 min from main bus station which brings to the Poetto beach and all places around. Basically in the middle of the city centre, bars and restaurants all around. Property is cleaned, cosy, room slightly smaller than per pictures but I was absolutely delighted! Huge reccomendation!

Central, but not as comfortable as I expected

Location very central, just a 5min walk from the train station and within easy walking distance to central area of the city.
There was no staff onsite, everything was handled online and worked fine - with one issue that arose sorted very swiftly. The room was clean and reasonably equipped.
However, quite a few annoyances that made my stay not as comfortable as I had expected based on other reviews.
The room had a 'window' with milk glass, which opened into an inside area of the property (and it seemed most rooms had no outside windows) - so no possibility to get fresh air and only limited daylight. The mattress was very uncomfortable, with a hill in the middle and valleys on both sides, so I struggled to find a flat area to sleep on. Also, various vents were producing an almost constant noise and at times there was a sewage smell in the bathroom - making the lack of fresh air even more frustrating.

The property is in super location and so close to train station and right in old city center. If you don’t need a car, it’s perfect place to be. Get the train from the air Ot for $1.30 per person and within 5 minutes or so you will arrive to Cagliari’s train station. For foreigners leaving back home, you can come back to the train station and do the Rapid test for FREE and get the results within 20 minutes. The restaurants are really under your armpits. You open the entry door and make sure don’t hit anyone outside before closing the door. The coffee shop with a breakfast material, you will find with a few steps away on the corner. Great staff to wake you up. Martina was helping us so much. Unfortunately we did not see her. Technically she was Siri!!!every time when I need some info I dial to Martina like a Siri on my iPhone, an she came back with answer, like a Ginny from the bottle

Modern rooms with a traditional feel in the heart of Cagliari centre. Everything that you need is on the door step e.g. restaurants, bars, shops and the nearby port. Parking is available nearby at a small cost and was easy to find due to the time of year (end of October.) Staff were very friendly, welcoming and we enjoyed the use of the free coffee machine (during the day.)

Great little hotel right in the heart of the city, 2 minute walk to the port or a short stroll from the old town. Wonderful budget guest house/hotel

Really good budget option for central Cagliari, just footsteps from the waterfront. It's a basic set-up, of course at this price point. But the fantastic service and friendly, helpful staff put some of the five star establishments I've stayed in to shame. If you're on a budget I doubt you'll do better in the city.

We arrived late but it was only a phone call to Martina to get let in. The hotel was fantastic. Martina and Riccardo make sure that you have a good stay, and nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was clean and quiet and it was nice to have a coffee machine in the foyer which we used a lot. The rooms are very well located, minutes from the train and bus stations. Just outside are lots of places to eat. We stayed for 8 nights and I would recommend the Arcobaleno rooms to anyone. We had a very good stay

Brilliant location for exploring.

This was a brilliantly located hotel to allow you to explore Cagliari. The location means you are minutes from the train station, bus station and lots of good restaurants/bars. The staff here are friendly and helpful and the late check in procedure was a breeze. One thing to note is that there are no coffee facilities in the room but there is a decent bean to cup machine in the lobby. I would suggest, if you are a light sleeper, asking for a room away from the street.

Lovely place to stay and handy for the resort. The staff members were very friendly and so nice to have a coffee machine in the foyer which we used frequently!!! The room faced the front of the building and was slightly noisier at night on the weekend but didn't bother us too much. My only constructive criticism is that the bed had a terry waterproof mattress cover which was not comfortable in the hot weather and the pillows. The latter were polyester filled which had been washed and were very lumpy. Asked staff for replacement and was given one but it was no better. Please get some better pillows and a different type of mattress cover. Other than that can't fault the place at all. Would certainly stay there again.

Ideal base for a short city break. Rooms easy to find within a few minutes walk from station. Really approachable and welcoming staff. Nothing too much trouble. Good local advice. Nice personal touches to make you comfortable eg free coffee machine, bed made up and presented we'll for our return later in the day. Good strong shower with plentiful hot water. Close to really good restaurants. Wine available at reception - isola de nuraghe recommended! If we were to book again we would want to ensure a superior room balcony opened onto the street. Nice after-care touch in the form of a thank you email from owners, which typified their focus on quality customer service.

Arcobena is well positioned for bars and restaurants and we would definitely stay there again. The only downside was a small tv in our bedroom and also some noisy neighbours.

Nice hotel but....

The Arcobaleno is located in the old town with several restaurants within 100 meters.

While fantastic for atmosphere, the noise from the restaurants lasted well into the night making sleep a bit difficult (although, to be fair, we were on the first floor and stayed Friday and Saturday night so those may be mitigating factors). Either way, bring earplugs if you are noise sensitive.

The larger issue was the mattress. As far as I could tell, there was almost no padding above the springs making for uncomfortable and restless night. As above, however, this may have been unique to our room.

I can work around the noise but I would be hesitant to stay here again without some assurances regarding the mattress.

Not a Hotel, worst stay ever!

I booked this hotel for my co-worker and myself. This is not a Hotel but a \"room-to-rent\". I arrived by midnight to the hotel after a very long journey to find the hotel closed. It took 45 mins. before someone arrived to let me in to my room. I was so tired and grateful to have a place to sleep that I couldn't complain. In the morning I though someone was taking a shower in my room, I jumped out of bed scared and had to check, it was the room next door. You can hear everything that is going on in the hallway and the other rooms. The cleaning lady was bagging and talking so loud it made it hard to sleep in. The room and furniture is very old, it looked like it has been there forever and with no attention to detail. The showed backed up, I had to turn off the water various times so it can drain before I continued, no shampoo, the towels smelled like sweat, the room also smelled of mold and sewer!!! The young man that let me in told me that I had a room with a balcony. When I opened up, I was surrounded by 3 dilapidated buildings full of peoples clothes on the clotheslines and the balcony was very dirty. After I air-dried, I left and waited until my co-worker arrived from the US. She looked around and we quickly looked for another place to stay. We both traveled for work and need a place where we feel safe, that is clean and has the amenities needed when we are away from home. We booked Hotel Sardina which is a true hotel.

This is not a \"hotel\" as I define it. 11 rooms without anything else. Breakfast is a joke-- a croissant, a capucino
and a glass of mineral water in a cafe 50 yards from the hotel.
Front desk only manned sometime. Marco, owner, is very helpful and nice when he is there.
Superb location for buses, boats, trains, downtown..
Beware--interior rooms may have \"window\" only to Atrium not outdoors.

Perfect place. Lovely room with 2 balconies on a busy but pedestrian street. Restaurants directly below but good sound insulation in the room and solid shutters. We stayed two nights and ate both nights at the restaurant below which we thought was very good. Easy, short walk from the train station or the bus to the beach. Apparently the provided breakfast (a sweet croissant, some french toast and jam, a carton of fruit juice and a selection of drinks from your own coffee/tea maker) is a legal requirement as they have to provide a breakfast . It was fine but I think a voucher for a coffee/croissant at a local cafe would be nicer - the cafe would get regular morning customers - this is what our hotel in Sicily did. We were really pleased with this hotel and would definitely recommend it.

The Hotel is ideally in the Marina area of Cagliari and within 5 minutes walk from the Main Station which provides easy access (ca. 9 mins.) train journey to/from the airport . Hotel location is on the via Sardegna with its excellent restaurants.

The hotel front desk is only manned at certain times but they let you know this well beforehand and arrange to meet and greet when you arrive. Our room was located at the front of the hotel, was clean and comfortable and had a Juliette balcony overlooking the via Sardegna and its restaurants. For us that was excellent as it provided the sound and feel of a vibrant restaurant area within an Italian town which is what we wanted for the weekend we were there. Others might find it a little noisy. Not all rooms are at the front of the hotel however and will be quieter. There are no lifts but this was not a problem for us although might be a little difficult if carrying large cases.

Breakfast is only available out of packs in the room - pre-packaged croissants, biscuits etc., but there is a coffee an tea in the room with a 'traditional' Italian hot water dispenser. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Not a modernised or boutique hotel but rather a very pleasant and clean typical, very Italian privately owned hotel which we thought was excellent value for money and to be honest we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights stay in Cagliari.

Would stay here again!

This hotel was in the heart if Cagliari. Close to shops and restaurants.

The rooms had charm. We felt more secure with the video cameras in the hotel entrance.

We received great service from the owner & we'd stay again!

Excellent location and great service

This hotel is located in the heart of Cagliari. There are great restaurants around and so many wonderful places to see. Only issue is car parking, apart from that, I would recommend this to anyone who wants to visit Cagliari. Marco and Carlo were great hosts!
