There is no lobby, check in is at the diner next door. In our first room, the TV didn't work and the employee couldn't get it to work. There also was no coffee pot, even though advertised. Apparently they get stolen too often so no longer get put in most rooms. We did get moved to a room with a working TV and a coffee pot, however the plug-in in the bathroom didn't work, thus the hair dryer couldn't be used. The young man on duty was very friendly and helpful, but the hotel has seen better days. The bed was comfortable.

After a very long day driving from Bozeman to Glendive through eastern Montana, we arrived at this fairly new, large, well located hotel. The room was large, adequate and clean. But it was the Hotel Manager who was exemplary, and directed us to a great steak dinner nearby.

Breakfast was 10% off at the diner next door. Coffee was very weak there too. Breakfast took a long time to make. I highly recommend ordering it ahead of time. They will make it to go so you can bring it back to your room.

The room was the best of our entire cross country trip. Especially considering the price. Very clean, ample towels, microwave, fridge, great sink space, nice shower, Dove soaps, room was right outside the elevator so that was nice. The only thing we ddin't like was the sign on the door that said 'check in at the diner next door'. Okay...weird. Diner was small and hot and busy. We had a wait to check in. The gal running everything was phenomenal. Young, thin, glasses, tatoos. The owner/manager walked in and chastized the staff in front of everyone which is one of my huge peevs. So we decided not to patron the diner for dinner and ate our packed stuff. We're working class ourselves and don't appreciate hard-working, good staff to be treated that way. But we loved our hotel room.

This is my \"go-to\" stop when driving back and forth to visit family in the midwest.

The only issue I have ever had is that Google Maps directs drivers to turn Left when exiting the freeway. You Should turn RIGHT! 🙄

Awesome place!!

We had a wonderful time during our 4-night stay. The GM is the friendliest, most helpful manager I have ever seen. She made us feel truly welcome. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom clean (the tub was long, deep, and wonderful!!!) and the room very clean. We will definitely stay here again when in the area!

The hotel rooms are much nicer than you would first think when entering the building. The carpet is very worn however and I only rated lower on the surrounding facility because there are often people outside the front door smoking. I come to the Baymont every time I have to stay in Glendive.

Stay was fine - we arrived really late and check in was easy and quick. It was quiet and the room was clean but somewhat dated. Elevator was a little bit scary making loud noises and when it got to the bottom felt like it hit the ground with a thud.

There was no soap or body wash when I first got there but got some from the maid. The desk had pieces of the trim missing and snagged on my pants when setting and passing next to it. The comforter had a stain on it so I know it was not washed or treated by the looks of the stain. Other wise, I've stayed her many times and no issues before. Quiet for the most part and clean.

The check-in office is in a diner beside the hotel ..was a little strange … loud messy counter service . I felt maybe the room was not completely ready for guests as the footstool was upended on top of the chair . In the bathroom I found a stray facecloth (back in color) and food left in the fridge . Both obviously from previous guest . It was a nice room but lacking in what I’ve come to expect from Wyndham hotels . It had a clean comfortable bed and was quiet .. except for the coyotes but that’s no body’s fault .

I have been staying here every weekend so i can see my husband who has been working out of town for a couple months. The staff is very nice and helpful for checking in and providing help when needing toiletries and the trash taken out. I like getting the room with the small kitchen so i can cook my husband a nice dinner while im there. All in all it's a great experience every time i go there.

Exterior the property is quite dingy and looks exactly like an apartment building. Don’t let the lack of a lobby fool you, check-in is done in the diner next to the hotel. Speaking of the diner, It’s actually amazing, open 24 hours and has an excellent menu with afdforable prices. When it came to my room, it was huge probably close to 800 ft.² and had absolutely everything that I could imagine despite being in clean, original condition. All in all, an excellent stay and would recommend.

First Time to Glendive-traveled there for Softball

Nicely remodeled recently I would say, pleasantly surprised for the price actually. Dove brand essentials, hand closet area, separate vanity which I like for travel so that one can shower and one can get ready in front of the mirror at the same time separately, beds were comfortable & a lounge to hang out if needed with a covered patio too. One of the cleanest hotel rooms I've stayed in all summer for travel softball and we have been all over!!! We used the stairs, they were large, open & clean. The only odd thing was that you check in at the diner. Penny's diner has really good food, but don't expect to be in and out quickly. It's a grill/cook one or two tables at a time kinda thing. Just a small place. Service was a little slow, short-handed maybe for a lunch rush.

I reserved 3 rooms a month ahead of time to stay here. We arrived at 4:45 local time to learn that the housekeeping staff was missing and that the rooms were not presentable. The front desk could make no promises of to when of if the rooms would be ready. I asked for the reservations to be canceled and to not be charged. I was told \"no problem.\" Two days later, my card was charged and now im trying to get my money back with low expectations. This is an unacceptable business practice.

Says free breakfast on the Expedia listing, but they do not have free breakfast. They apologized and stated they have asked the listing be corrected to reflect this. Front desk is located in the diner next to the hotel, which was odd.

Aside from that, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. If that's all you're looking for, then this fits the bill.

Stay was just okay.

It was pouring rain when we arrived. Hotel was locked and and after a few minutes another guest came out and told us we needed to register at the adjacent restaurant. Room was decent, but for the price paid, we thought breakfast should have been included. Checked out early and that process was slow as I asked for a receipt.
