This is a great property to stay and meets all of my needs. The front desk associate, Maria, was friendly and helpful. The parking is easy; the location is convenient. The morning coffee is always fresh. Great place to stay.
Rhonda
The staff was very helpful & friendly!
There is no continental breakfast, don’t bother trying the room coffee packets as they are horrible; the lobby coffee is much better. Free water bottles are available for the asking at the front desk, so nice!
The shower stall needs updating, as it has a shower curtain which doesn’t keep the water from leaking out & the ledge to the shower is low, it
which doesn’t retain the shower water; there is water all over the floor with every shower taken.

The toilet was soiled and not flushed when I arrived. There was no soap at the sink. The response from the front desk was only “sorry”
Dennis
Room was clean and the staff was friendly.
Kim
Not worth the price of the room
Kristie
Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms
Manuel
the cleaning service is inadequate. The place looks dirty.
Charlotte
The room was very neat and clean. The hotel was close to amenities.
The bed was too hard for me to sleep on and the toilet sat too low with no bar to help pull myself up. I also had issues with the cable service. Half of the available channels were advertisement channels.

Not only is the hotel across from a meat processing plant which made everything in the room and outside smell like death. They also charged me three different times for the room charge in addition to what was paid to Expedia. And was told on the phone that the manager has a whole list other rooms she has to refund and will get to it eventually
Ron
The property told us the could not even provide coffee in lobby as water was not safe to drink. Hptel provide nothing but reasonably comfortable bed.
Ed
I LIKED THE LOCATION BUT IT WAS IN ILL REPAIR
Shannon
There aren’t many hotels to choose from in this small town. Priced a bit high considering there is no breakfast included or attractions nearby.
Alois
Great choice if you’re working in the area.
Lynne
We were informed by staff that the Internet was slow but we were in the best spot to get a connection. We were unable to get any connection and when we went to ask at the front desk we were told we were out of luck that there was nothing they could do. The hotel is used by railroad staff and people were coming and going all night long. Not a restful place to stay.
Chris
Convenient location near I 35. Penny's Diner within easy walking distance and open 24 hours. I stayed 6 nights and the room was only cleaned once and that was at my request. No coffee maker in the room.
Margaret
Beds were comfortable. With two of us looking we could find no way to turn the shower on in rm 224. It was either broken or we needed directions. This was extremely inconvenient since sitting in the tub was prohibitive for us.
Mary Ann
very nice stay with diner adjacent. Only complaint is that elevator sounded bit rickety so i walked up & down stairs to my room.
David
When we went to our room (after 6 p.m.) we discovered that it hadn't been made up from the previous occupant. We went to the main desk, and the friendly gentleman said it would take at least 30 minutes to get another room ready for us. After driving 450 miles we were ready to settle in, but we entertained ourselves at the local Walmart till a room was ready. No other problems
Marisol
There is a diner walkable distance.
What I did not like was the small area they had with coffee. The coffee machine was old and duty. They should remove that completely. Bed sheets had some stains. But overall it was ok. There are no other options in that area.

Good stay, wrong town
The facility was clean, staff super friendly however…our only 2 dislikes were the firmness of the mattress and shower water pressure was not that great.
The mattress was extremely hard, but that’s our non preference.
We booked here by accident and realized after our confirmation email that this wasn’t the town we were working in. It’s a small town, not a lot to choose from for restaurants, but there is a good Mexican restaurant downtown.

Adjacent Penny's Diner was great. Room did not have coffee maker.

Multiple issues with this property. Check-in is 3:00. We arrived at 4:30 and room wasn't ready because previous guests hadn't checked out yet. We had a schedule, so rather than wait for cleaning, the staff offered a downgrade to a single queen room. Queen bed was actually a double. They said they couldn't give us the price reduction for downgrading from a king (no reason offered), but gave us free breakfast at the diner next door. NO COFFEEMAKER in the room or on the premises. Only one nightstand so nowhere for 2nd person to lay books, water, phone, etc. Reading lights only on one side of bed.
This property seems to be run by the railroad, which has its own rules, and hence the late checkout from the room we reserved. We ran into issues the last time we stayed here too. Will try hard not to stay here again.

No coffee maker in room
Joe
The lady at the front desk was very helpful and allowed me to park my motorcycle trailer right outside my room.
Kristie
The experience was nice. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet with plenty of space.
Terry
Coffee???
No coffee. Was told there was a coffee maker in my room, but my room was handicapped, and so there was no coffee maker
Kathleen
Close to my destination. Secure.

Good stay
Check in was easy. Access to room was good. Room was clean. Relatively quiet. Not far from the interstate.
Linda
The hotel was very clean and the girls at the check in were very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were nice, overall was very pleased with everything and would stay there again.
Benita
Was just ok. The next nite for the same price we stayed at an excellent hotel with a lot of extras. No coffee in the lobby, no breakfast. Beds were just average, cleanliness same.

This is not a good hotel to stay in unless you have no other option.
Rooms are dirty (toenails, grass, random debris on floor), stained sheets and furniture. Weird smell in our room (#209) that faded after a time. Getting to sleep before midnight is impossible with all the door closing sounds and sounds of people walking through the hall. There is no central staircase, so fire exits are at either end of the halls. Carpet in room made the bottoms of our feet really dirty.
WORST PART WAS AT 3:00 AM OUR ROOM PHONE RANG AND A MAN ON THE PHONE SAID OUR ROOM NUMBER AND HE WAS AT THE FRONT DESK. THEY WERE UPDATING THE PHONES AND OUR PHONE MAY RING AGAIN SO HE SAID TO LEAVE IT OFF THE HOOK. WE HAD TOWELS WHICH WE HAD TO ASKED THE MAID FOR EARLIER ON THE DESK SO I PUT THE RECEIVER BETWEEN TWO TOWELS AND LAID BACK DOWN. AFTER A MINUTE I THOUGHT THAT WAS WEIRD AND HUNG THE PHONE UP.
I WAITED ABOUT TEN MINUTES AND CALLED DOWN TO THE FRONT DESK WHERE A WOMAN ANSWERED.
SHE SAID SHE DID NOT CALL AND KNEW NOTHING ABOUT A PHONE UPDATE GOING ON.
I ASKED HER WHO IT WAS AND SHE SAID PROBABLY SOMEONE PLAYING A PRANK.
THE PHONE TREE WHEN YOU CALL THE HOTEL ALLOWS ANYONE TO DIAL ANY ROOM NUMBER AT ANY TIME OF DAY OR NIGHT.
Ultimately i would never stay here again.

NOT a Baymont... ITs an EconoLodge...
Was driving from TX to KS and needed to stop. Used the app to find a hotel. This is shown as a Baymont, but it an Econo Lodge owned by Baymont. Disappointed in the misrepresentation. For an Econo Lodge it is overpriced. We were spent, so we stayed. It was clean but not somewhere to stay if you have options.
Kathleen
this stay was satisfactory.
Kathleen
Property so, so. The area leaves very little selection in accomodations. Wyndam having 2 options.
Kathleen
Convenient to places I was going. Room was not thoroughly cleaned. Found empty pop bottle, bottle water and room key under ottoman. Cereal crumbs on seat of easy chair.
Brian Phillip
Good place.

Wellington finally got a great hotel.
Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. A diner was just a few steps away with a great breakfast. Wellington really needed this hotel.

Total letdown after great reviews on site
Out of all the available choices on our route, we chose this one due to the excellent reviews. It was totally adequate, but not worth the price. There is NO free breakfast-they give you a $3.50 voucher for the cute diner next door. When we addressed this issue with the manager, she blamed Hotels.com and couldn't have cared less. She expected us to contact Hotels.com to clear up their lack of a free \"made to order\" breakfast as listed. I'm thinking she gets this complaint often. We stayed at a different Baymont a few days later in Salina KS and it was excellent-friendly staff, free breakfast and wonderful facility.

This was a last minute stop for us along our 1900 mile route...again a winner! Thank you hotels.com. Staff very sweet and personal, breakfast at cute diner right beside hotel wide range to choose from. Highly recommend this one

So So.
The hotel was adequate but The pillows were a bit lumpy and the bed just had a sheet with a folded fairly ratty blanket.

Decent Value
Seemed like a newer facility than last Baymont I stayed at
I had dinner at Dore Sports Bar - Good food.
Breakfast at Penny's Diner next was very good

Property was under construction, had to go to rear of building to check in and office was a make shift room;there was plastic sheathing on second floor as you came off elevator; no grab and go breakfast was offered at check in
Jeff
Room not done. Had to wait for them to clean it at 11pm. No masks. Construction. No breakfast.

Great stay!
Good condition, even with remodeling! Conveniently located!

I suppose to have a continental breakfast which was the reason I picked the hotel and instead it was some rip off crap next door. The room smelt of mold.
Maria
Very clean, comfortable beds.
Terri
Friendly staff, clean, well-kept, the only issue was mediocre lighting over the sink.

Clean and friendly
Decent stay at a dated hotel. Shower was hot and room was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.
JJ
This hotel was okay. Nothing special about it. It would have helped to have an indoor pool and breakfast.
Vince
I stayed the night for business. The front end desk attendant was very professional and was able to get me checked in early.

Good Value
Basic room - great service

Awesome staff
This place was amazing considering the size of the town. Very friendly staff!!

Nothing unique. Only one icemakee and had to take elevator down from 3rd floor to 1st floor for ice. Kind of a bummer when you are tired, but not a deal breaker. House cleaning did well
Just
The rooms are sealed up pretty good so you dont hear alot of your neighbors noise. It makes it nice when you have kids to

Nice hotel, but uncomfortable bed and pillows
Stopped for a nights sleep after traveling all day and getting up early for another day of traveling. The good was that the service was friendly, the room was clean, and the hotel was quiet. The not so good was that the bed was hard, uncomfortable, and the pillows were flat so we did not feel that we had a great nights sleep.
We had stayed the night before at a Travel Lodge hotel run by Wyndham which was awesome, so we expected the Baymont (which is also run by Wyndham) to be comparable, but it was not.

Did not like the height of the bed. Hard to get in to.

Wi fi not secure. Employee in hallway talking loudly for over half hour. I had to ask them to go somewhere else to talk

Great stay.
We was visiting family, tried to check in early took 15 min to be helped. While 1 of the 4 people in the front area was working at the computer and answering the phone... it seemed very disorganized. We left and came back, was checked in. Room was clean and very comfortable. Rest of the stay was great. We had a great stay, I just hope the front desk can be a little more organized.

Positive: the hotel looked really nice inside---newly redecorated. Our room was very nice and clean--everything was new. We had breakfast at Penny's Diner next door which was a fun experience--very nostalgic and good food.
Negative: we had an unpleasant experience when we checked in. The front desk gal was working on something on the computer and said \"just a minute\" without even looking at us. We stood there for 10 minutes while she was mumbling about something on the computer. My husband finally said it wasn't good business to leave us waiting there that long, and she proceeded to tell him she said \"just a minute.\" The check out person on duty in the morning was much better. We had to assume maybe the evening gal just didn't know what she was doing.

not Good rude check out lady
Mouse glue trap in room check out lady was rude ask to pay cash she said I couldn’t and she said she couldn’t give me a receipt because I went through Expedia she was short and not very helpful plus I check pay cash at motel on the Expedia app and couldn’t

Everything was good. Was a bit confused at first to find the hotel was in 2 separate buildings across the street from one another. Also, the breakfast in the morning was at Penny's Diner which was alright. It was just a bit different than what I'm used to. Overall, it was a nice stay.
John
only hotel in town that was still open
Because the Oak Tree Inn had no competitors, they were not trying very hard. They had no security at all and even though it was a small town, the contractor crews staying there, would bring their drinking parties back to the hotel from the bar and party next to our room. I didn't really mind that except they knew nobody was looking and if the rowdies got any drunker, they would be puking on my new pickup or sitting up on the hood etc. All the Inn had to do is have a weekend guy to cruse the parking lot a let everyone know they were watching. If the hotel continues to ignore the situation, there will be no hotels left in Wellington because some guest will sue them into bankruptcy.

Bad place
It was a very bad place, they put me in the old motel while their was a nrand new one open
