I was pleasantly surprised here... The town is small, old, kinda run down, nothin' really goin' on... But this motel was really quite comfortable... It's older, but it's clearly had renovations done and had been kept up over the years... The property, the lobby, and the room were all clean... The furnishings were comfortable... The room was quiet... Only thing I dinged them for on this review were no continental breakfast and no pool, which isn't uncommon and are not a big deal... But who doesn't like a nice warm breakfast in the morning? Otherwise I was more than happy with my visit and would gladly stay again and recommend to other travelers...

I stayed here while visiting my fiancé, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The motel is very outdated, but it was clean and well-kept. The staff was accommodating and made sure I had what I needed during my stay. Despite its age, it served its purpose perfectly: a safe, quiet, and comfortable place to rest my head in peace. I appreciated the cleanliness and the sense of safety most of all.

This motel is just perfectly located between Mt Hood, Mt St Helens and Palouse Falls. Rooms and clean and spacious. Plenty of parking. It was very helpful during a multi-day trip to rest.

It is comfortable place to stay. One thing that could have been improved was the lighting. It was fairly dark in the room and one of the lamps was missing a light bulb. The light outside beside the patio door was burnt out. None of these things would stop me from staying again.

The front desk lady was very sweet! She was so nice!! I say a 4 in cleaning because everything was so clean in my room like almost spotless however there was a few cobwebs in the back corner of the room by the bed. Other than that all surfaced were super clean, lamp shades were dusted and the room spelled REALLY good idk what room spray they use but I thought it smelled nice! I can tell these ladies do a hell of a job cleaning these rooms.

The price is good and the property is fine.

The room was spacious, although the painted cinder block walls made it feel more institutional than welcoming.

The amenities were pretty standard for a 2-star accommodation and seemed to all work, although the refrigerator did not have a freezer section.

Everything that mattered was clean -- towels and beds, but the carpet had a sticky spot that housekeeping missed when they presumably vacuumed.

The city of Connell smells like cows, but inside the motel it did NOT; which was a welcome surprise.

The lady at the front desk was nice.

Overall, I would recommend this place for the budget conscious traveler, but you will know you are staying someplace cheap.

The motel serves its purpose. I was with my son at a soccer tournament in Pasco 30mins away. The place was clean, staff friendly and was 1/4 of the cost of Pasco hotels that jacked up their rates due to tournament.

Older motel in small town, but pretty clean overall. Plentiful parking, but not much to walk to for food, must drive to other end of town. Sliding door not easy to lock, and the beds are terribly noisy. Any time you move, they wake others in the room up! Front desk gal very kind.

Our room was clean and fine. Stayable and sleepable! We were with other teammates and 3 different rooms still had old moldy food in the fridge and a drawer. Our son left stuff in a drawer and we requested it getting mailed to us. They said they will. Hopefully we get that soon!

The motel is dated, but its been cleaned up to be a decent place. The room was big, with TV and fridge. The bedding was clean and fresh. The cons: the room is in desperate need of hooks, to hang clothing and towels on. The bathroom & shower had hair in various places.

My room had a bed against the wall shattered with a very loud facilities closet, operating some sort of constant loud machine, so the room layout really needed to be revised with that in mind. Additionally the toilet ran constantly and the door would not lock securely. A very rough night if constant noise and I head to push furniture against the door for security. So not the greatest room, but the cleanliness was good and hopefully other rooms are in better order.

Not accommodating for handicap/ felt disrespected

I am disabled and parking in front of the room I rented I could not access the door to easily to unload items, was very difficult. I had asked manager about the parking she was not helpful & said park on the either side of the cars that was blocking the door area, remind you I have a walking abilities & having to unload my own things was not very good this stay. Fridge did not work. Bathroom fan does not work. Microwave dirty.I have been staying here many times but at this point my last couple of times has not been good. I will be looking for a new hotel to stay when I come this way anymore & that will be more handicap accommodating.

This was probably the nicest inexpensive hotel I have ever stayed at. The front clerk was super friendly and gave info on the amenities nearby. The room was super clean and spacious and cozy. I loved the sliding glass door entrance to the room. Great for getting my two dogs in and out. Loved my stay

I was looking for somewhere to stay 1night with my dog, that did not cost an arm and a leg. It was perfect. When I pulled up to my room I saw there where people on either side of me and I was concerned that I would hear them. Nope. One of quietest hotel experiences I’ve had .

The room we were in was not very clean. When we walked into the room it had an overwhelming smell to it, so I turned the ac on and we left for a few hours. There was hair in the tub, the carpet was sticky and wet next to the bed (found that out after I made the mistake of taking my shoes off and ruining a pair of no longer white socks), the tub in our room was extremely slow to drain. It’s frustrating when you spend that much on a room and it’s not in good condition.

Don’t judge a book by its outside cover

I would say the on-site manager is friendly and efficient in taking care of your needs. The outside of the hotel is somewhat off putting can use some cleaning, which I think gives you a low impression of it. The room was dated, but clean and looked like it had fairly new carpet and paint, it serves the purpose of a clean place to sleep. This is not a resort property by any means I would rated as a 2 1/2 and a seven overall on a customer rating. I found Connell to be hard to
Plan to get a meal in as restaurants do not hold to posted hours and some will close early around 5:00 and for a breakfast they might not open until late morning

My problem was with Expedia. They listed the property as being in a town 50 miles away from its actual location. I had to ride in the dark through dangerous areas and I couldn't get ahold of anyone at Expedia to help rectify the problem. I went back to booking. Com and I suggest you do the same. Don't trust Expedia.

Comfortable bed, spacious room, sliding patio doors that allow you access directly to your car (in addition to the door to the inner corridor)--this is a very nice place to stay. As others noted, it's an older property, but it's well-maintained and doesn't have the smells that some older places have acquired. Very helpful staff as well. Pasco accommodations have gotten so much more expensive; this is a great alternative.

It is close to the intersection and good marked, no searching. Room is comfortable. Convenient is that a restaurant is just beside it, and good.
I didn't like the noise from the plumbing above and beside the room, but this is of course not fixable in an old building.

Very nice motel, we booked it last minute one night and the manager was extremely nice and helpful! Rooms were very clean and bed was very comfortable. Pillows were harder (for my comfort at least. I use squishy pillows!) But overall a great place to stay! We would definitely stay again if we are in the area!

The motel is old and raggedy. No sound barriers - slamming doors, other guest noise. I didn’t want to put my bare feet on the carpet. The front desk help was sweet. The bed had a surprisingly comfortable mattress so thanks for that.

More than a motel

We had a stay for the weekend and it was amazingly comfortable, cozy for a motel environment.Honestly above our expectations.
Although, the website describes having Swimming pool and kitchen, the swimming pool was non-operational and kitchen was only for 1 bedroom. None of the 2 bedrooms have kitchen..
