Our stay at Grace Hotel was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional — they truly made us feel taken care of throughout our stay.

The room was spotless and beautifully maintained, which made it even more relaxing to unwind. And the breakfast… honestly one of the highlights — fresh, delicious, and the perfect way to start each day.

Overpriced for what it offers. The staff and food were great, but you can get a very similar experience at neighboring hotels for half the price. Surprisingly, complimentary bottled water is not included even though Santorini tap water is not drinkable and water costs €7 per bottle plus tax. Coffee pods are included, but having to purchase basic drinking water at this price point felt unreasonable. The main pool, advertised as heated, was never heated during our stay, which was disappointing since it was cold in April and the pool is one of the property’s main amenities.

Property was stunning - be warned it’s a walk to the property on the walking route and you will get your stair workout - but it’s so worth it. Our junior suite was perfect, beautifully detailed and the view is incredible.
Less crowded than Fira or Oia, quiet, lovely. Be sure to go to Avocado restaurant nearby, Greek food was amazing and clearly a family business.

From the moment our reservation was confirmed, Grace Hotel provided a seamless process. Lia from the reservations team was highly professional, accommodating, and remarkably flexible in managing changes to our travel dates. She ensured that all arrangements were accurate and followed up promptly with confirmations.

Once we arrived, the concierge team including Angela, Matina, Haris, and Lara demonstrated exceptional service throughout our stay. Their knowledge of the island and thoughtful recommendations were invaluable, and they handled logistics efficiently. It was clear that they paid close attention to our preferences and tailored their support accordingly.

The food and beverage team was equally impressive. Theo was particularly attentive and ensured that our dining experiences were smooth and enjoyable. Together with Alex and George, the team delivered a consistently high standard of service. The six-course breakfast was a highlight of our stay, with a different menu presented each morning, beautifully prepared and consistently of excellent quality.

The hotel itself offers refined accommodations, striking views over the caldera, and an atmosphere of calm that makes it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The rooms are well accomodated and extremely clean servided twice a day, every day! The hotel's location is well placed for direct access to Skaros Rock as well as to the bustle of nearby Fira town.

All in all, our stay was exceptional in every respect.

Disappointing Experience

I rarely leave reviews, but felt compelled to share our experience to help others make an informed decision. We booked what was marketed as a luxury suite in Santorini, expecting tranquility and comfort — unfortunately, it fell far short.

Most disturbingly, a male hotel staff member entered our room unannounced after 9pm, claiming he needed to “check the minibar.” My partner was naked in bed at the time. There was no prior notice, no knock, and absolutely no justification for this intrusion. It was an unacceptable breach of privacy.

Second, the approach to the hotel is extremely unpleasant — a rough, dusty construction zone that’s nearly impossible to navigate with luggage. It sets the tone for what’s to come and feels more like arriving at a worksite than a luxury property.

The suite itself was disappointing. Although it was marketed as high-end, the “lava rock” wall outside our window meant we had virtually no natural light or view.

Can't recommend.

The Grace Hotel is one of the absolute BEST hotels we have ever been to! My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here, and it is an experience we will remember for the rest of our lives. If you are going to Santorini, Grace Hotel is THE BEST place to stay. The viewed from Grace Hotel are simply unparalleled - you get a complete panoramic view of the island, with the most beautiful sunsets (way better than Oia). What stood out most is the attention to detail in every single encounter - whether it had to do with reservation staff, the small gifts left in our rooms each night with turn-down service, the memory box that the hotel provides, the way each staff member greets you and genuinely wants to know about your stay -- or any questions we had regarding touring. Matina & Harris from reservation staff were so sweet & accommodating - they went out of their way to make sure our stay was exceptional. Evi and George from the restaurant staff were some of the friendliest staff and made sure our breakfasts (which were DELICIOUS) were some of the best, ever. And George Arnapoulis (general manager) was always such a delight to speak with -- he would come by every day to check up on us and was wonderful. Every single staff member went above and beyond. In addition, the food was absolutely spectacular (both breakfast & dinner)! Thank you all for the best anniversary trip!!! <3 RUN, don't walk, to stay here. There is a reason Grace Hotel is the best hotel in Greece :) 20/10!!!

This was an amazing stay at the Grace Hotel. For the entire stay, the whole staff is extremely friendly and engaged. Every staff member was very helpful and made our stay a very pleasant and hospitable experience. This was hands down the best service I have received at any 5-star hotel (or any hotel) I have stayed at. Definitely would recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel when staying in Santorini. In addition to the service, the rooms and facilities are well maintained and property is beautiful with great view of the sea and top notch restaurant. Would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Santorini!

Spa was terrible. There’s actually no spa. Massage was subpar for the price of what a luxury spa would charge. The massage was done in a yoga room on portable massage beds with towels that were not even soft.

Customer service is taken to the next level. Constantinos and his team in reception were exceptional in helping us coordinate our activities. The hotel was beautiful and located perfectly in the middle of the caldera. We ended up paying extra for more privacy since the room we were given was near the main flight of stairs but the upgrade was really worth it - it was our honeymoon so once in a lifetime. Special shoutout to the turn down service. They always left an awesome treat and extra bottles of water. Our stay was amazing! Loved it!

There was nothing extraordinary to me about the hotel or rooms itself to make the cost worth it. There are hundreds of other hotels on the island and definitely a lot in Oia itself that have better views and is less costly. I’m not sure how they decided their price point but I definitely wouldn’t recommend a stay here when I’m sure there’s other hotels that offer same services for less price. It was also freezing in my room, the temperature would not go up no matter how many times we increased it on the thermostat, but we never brought it up to management because we were only in the room for a little bit. Also our plunge pool was cold so we didn’t even get to use it during our stay which defeats the purpose of why we chose the room to begin with. Overall, find another hotel

Nice hotel but overpriced

It is a very nice hotel, but we did not feel that the hefty price tag was worth it. Breakfast is a curious 5 course set menu... annoying that they dont just offer a la carte.
The room itself is high end, and we had a small plunge pool. The main spectacle is the pool which has astonishing views.

Perfect Hotel

Our time at Grace Hotel Santorini was amazing. We stayed in the honeymoon suite, which was at the bottom edge of the hotel looking towards Skaros rock. The location is perfect overlooking Skaros rock for the sunset and you can see both sides of the Caldera towards Oia and Fira. The infinity pool is beautiful and the grounds are very well kept and clean. The staff was also very friendly and helpful and they helped make our stay perfect by helping us arrange dinner reservations and day activities. Our stay at Grace Hotel was perfect and we couldn’t ask for a better location and service while in Santorini.

Imergovilli is the nicest, posh place to stay on Santorini island (Ohio and Fira don’t compare). With such beauty (fantastic minute to minute changing sun scapes/naturally beautiful landscape and views) comes cold winds -caldera side known for this.
The grace is among the many wealthy properties in this side but is clearly the winner on several fronts.
1 service- everything was provided or anticipated. Something that cannot be taught, one has it naturally. This was the case with grace.
Ie nightly in room surprise (known in w hotel chain) kept our excitement as did the varying breakfast menu.
2. Hospitality- concierge real-from Mikaelis (inappropriately named in my opinion “mike” to allow ease of name pronunciation ) with kindness, politeness and professionalism to Dimitra our restaurant bookings, and island activities etc were flexibly, and sometimes last minute managed. To Giannis, the mixologist in the lounge (10 years of extensive experience). Let me tell you as a mock tail afficiando he knows his trade.
Occasional only minimal lapses in service ie. we were asked three-four times if we needed transportation even though I had mentioned several times that I had my own rental vehicle.
3. Product Quality- the product is worth the money.
A. The rooms are beautifully appointed. Although product line should be higher with this price point ie Hermes, Aesop etc.
B. The food quality, and offerings are creative and flexible (my wife ordering boiled eggs off of the set dail

The Grace was incredible. As others have said, the views are phenomenal. The 5 course breakfasts are fantastic. The service was tremendous. While it is expensive, based on other properties we saw in the area, the Grace is well worth it. Would go back in a minute. There are a lot of steps, but that is everywhere in Santorini, so the Grace is like almost every other property in Santorini. Some other reviewers have commented on the walkways near some of the rooms. We had a room near the walkway, but didn’t find it an issue (but note that you do lose some privacy on your patio as a result). The bottom line is that this is a fantastic property in a great location with first class service. If you can afford it, this is the place.

THE GRACE ADVANTAGE

Grace had a reputation of being one of the best in Santorini and I booked it with lots of hesitation. There are too many premium hotel brands around in my walks around the area. However, starting your day with a 5 course breakfast menu that changes everyday sort of puts it all into perspective. The villa was refurbished 2 years back and the finishing in the property and in the rooms were pristine with high quality fixtures and designer furnishings. I loved the space they allocated to the toilets in particular. I stayed in the Santorini Suite but I did stay at the deluxe rooms with the plunge pool last. They looked at the finer details in all aspects of your stay. B&O Bluetooth speaker, turn down service with different teas, masks, and snacks for the night. Of course the view of Skaros Rock right in front of the property in your own plunge pool makes the stay breathtaking every minute of daylight. I will be returning to Grace even though it is tempting to try the other many countless fine hotels in Santorini. But they left me little to doubt them.

We stayed here for our honeymoon in mid October. The views are amazing and the infinity pool was like none other on the island. We enjoyed the 5 course complimentary breakfast every morning. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and pleasant. We loved that our room was right on the trail to hike Scaros Rock and was also on the path to Fira. We couldn't have asked for a better place and definitely plan on coming back to Stay at Grace!!

Best Hotel in Santorini, perhaps all of Greece.

Having stayed at several of their competitors, I feel pretty confident in stating this is the best hotel in Santorini. It has THE best view on an island filled with spectactular views, and the rooms, food, bar and room services are very close to perfect. The concierge service is absurdly good, I forgot my electric razor and they sent a driver to the other side of the island to deliver it. Once a year my wife and I try to treat ourselves to a stay in a world renowned hotel and we both agreed this is equal or better to any of them. The only quibble would be if you have arthritis think that amazing view comes at a price (many stairs) but frankly once you arrive their is little reason to leave the property- every other view in the Mediterranean is a downgrade.

Best hotel in Santorini!!

First of all I’d like to say that this was my first time traveling out of country and I was extremely nervous. Flying in around noon we were greeted at the airport by one of their (well dressed) staff members, their shuttle service was beyond compare. The service was exquisite (they provided us with water & gum), upon entering the transportation. Arriving at the hotel they made sure our bags were carried down to hotel safely and well and included refreshments (some champagne, snacks). I immediately knew that we were in the caring hands of the Grace staff when I entered the hotel lobby and noticed how different the atmosphere was. And let me tell you, it seemed out of this world. We felt as if we were unique apart from the rest of the island.

This hotel came with little surprises throughout the days, which made coming home (and I call this home because it didn’t feel like anything else) soothing. When it was cold, a blanket was provided, when it rained an umbrella was there too, when you got out of the shower you stepped into their slippers/ flip flops they offer. If you would have any accommodations needed, they were made. They didn’t just treat us like guests but as family. The breakfast was to die for! If you don’t have their breakfast, you haven’t experienced Grace Santorini. Usually people say that it is sad when you leave such a nice place but this place made it memorable. They went as far as gifting us a little something when we left. Best hotel experience yet!
