Staff were all excellent and rooms super clean. TV and air con didn’t work for a period of our stay however everything else was fine. Would like to see some more facilities for Level customers. Very little to do & few options in the evening aside from one dedicated restaurant which was closed one night we were there. Everything also closes early which is a shame.

The price to stay at this hotel is over inflated with the only plus point being the size of the pool that the resort has in comparison to the other hotels in that vicinity.
The staff is the saving grace of this resort.
If you are not a meat eater then you will struggle to find anything to eat. Signs for the food do not indicate correctly if you pick up an item that is vegetarian.

Beautiful hotel with an elegant vibe - if you pay extra for Level Lounge access. Otherwise you’re in a huge pool with 1,000 screaming children. However! If you are bringing children they are fantastically well catered for.

The hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning interiors and a generally welcoming atmosphere. The staff seemed friendly throughout our stay, which added to the overall experience.
However, there were a few downsides. The food at the Mekado restaurant—which is the main option included in the all-inclusive package—was consistently cold. This applied across breakfast, lunch, and dinner. At one point, they brought out a fresh batch of pancakes, and even those were cold (???). We concluded Albanians liked cold food and this was their norm.
Housekeeping was another area that could use improvement. While I understand cleaners aren’t expected to tidy up personal belongings, basic cleaning was lacking. The bed would be made and towels replaced, but surfaces weren’t wiped, and floors didn’t appear to be cleaned. I had left a bracelet on the floor, and it was still there when we returned later that day. You’d only know they had been in your room because of the new towels, which was quite odd.
Also worth noting: the location is very remote. Most places are about an hour’s drive away, so it’s not ideal if you’re hoping to explore the area easily.

We had a lovely stay at Melia Durrës- we stayed in a garden facing room which was lovely and quiet. The pools are amazing - very clean and relaxing! Good activities for kids (park, pools, kids club etc)
The only downside is that there’s not much to do if the weather isn’t great. Perhaps an indoor arcade or small cinema would be good.
Food is good (lots of variety) - but timings can be a little restrictive. Could do with a 24 hour cafe or something for those with kids.

Bereits am frühen Morgen (ab ca. 8 Uhr) sind sämtliche Liegen durch Handtücher „reserviert“, obwohl das laut Hotelrichtlinien eigentlich nicht erlaubt ist. Auch hier fehlt eine konsequente Kontrolle.
Ein großes Manko ist das rücksichtslose Verhalten einiger Gäste: Müll wird einfach liegen gelassen, obwohl ausreichend Mülleimer vorhanden sind.
Es wird auf den Boden gespuckt, laut gestritten, laut telefoniert und am Strand Musik in unzumutbarer Lautstärke abgespielt.
Das Niveau der Gästestruktur hat unser Wohlbefinden deutlich beeinträchtigt.

Hotellet leverte på alle områder – nydelige og rene rom, fantastisk beliggenhet, og ikke minst et personale som virkelig får deg til å føle deg velkommen. Servicen var profesjonell og vennlig hele veien, og fasilitetene var førsteklasses. Bassenget, stranden og maten var helt topp. Takk for et minnerikt opphold, vi kommer tilbake

Een zeer nette en aangename hotel. Enige opmerkingen zijn dat er meer variatie van dag tot dag mag zijn bij het ontbijt en dat het zwembad niet toegankelijk is voor personen met een handicap. Voor de rest is het zeker een aanrader!

Check-In war schnell. Der Mitarbeiter an der Reception war sehr freundlich und wir haben eine persönliche Hotel Tour bekommen. Neues gepflegtes Hotel( wurde 2023 eröffnet), direkt am schōnen Sandstrand. Melia Durres befindet ca. 30 Autominuten vom Flughafen Tirana.Sehr freundliches Personal. Die Hotelzimmer waren sehr geräumig und sauber. Wir haben den Spa Bereich benutzt: Sehr sauber, 10€ Tagespass und eine gesunde Vitaminbar. Sehr schmackhaftes Abendessen mit Lachs, Rinderfilet, Oktopus, und Holzofenpizza und Live Musik, Im Hotelgebäude befinden sich zusätzlich noch ein Cafe, eine Bar, ein Restaurant und einige Geschäfte. Kostenlose Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Im Konferenzraum gab es ein Gala Diner und Live Musik mit einem berühmten.albanischen Sänger. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und sehr ausreichend . Check out war schnell und unkompliziert mit Kofferservice. Momentan das beste Strandhotel in Albanien

L’hôtel manque encore de personnel pour subvenir aux besoins de la clientèle d’un 5 étoiles. Le personnel est sympa mais manque de formation. Le prix d’un GinTonic à 18 euro, m’est resté à travers la gorge, sachant qu’à Genève il est même moins cher. Pourtant le prix du personnel en Albanie n’est pas du tout la même chose.
