Avoid! Just avoid. It’s an embarrassment that Radisson has their name on this.
Let’s see where do you begin ? It took almost 30 minutes to check in because they couldn’t figure out how to charge a card for $10 in parking. One of the elevators were down. The other elevator sounded like a train when running.
People smoking on all floors
The property is located right next to the highway. Be prepared for it to be very loud all night long hearing trucks and cars.
AC wouldn’t function.

Police constantly driving around the property.
Dirty. Inside and outside. Dated
Don’t even try to use the pool or revolving roof top restaurant. Front desk has no idea the status of those.

The biggest issue we had and to be fair it wasn’t the staff’s fault were the storms that rolled through overnight. The electricity was out when we woke up. We were on the 11th floor. No elevators. We’re in our 60’s. That many flights of stairs is not fun but it’s manageable. No lights in the stairwells has got to be some kind of code violation though isn’t it? Luckily a wonderful young man from the housekeeping staff helped us carry our bags down 11 flights of stairs and lit the way with his phone flashlight. I regret not getting his name as he disappeared as soon as we reached the lobby. I should have tipped him at least. The phones were also out so I guess the front desk couldn’t contact anyone either. I have wanted to stay at this hotel for years in my frequent trips to Cincinnati. I just picked the wrong night. I would stay there again as long as the weather was nice.

Stayed for two nights originally in room 1123. We had bed bugs in the room, apparently my wife noticed reviews complaining about the same thing. We let the desk clerk know and he was very helpful in relocating rooms. We moved to 627 which had no bed bugs. Both hotel rooms were extremely run down... Ceiling was all cracked, so we're the corners of the tub. None of the USB ports in either room worked. The plugs next to the bed were so loose. Both rooms were not cleaned well. There were stains on the counters under the tv and between the beds

This is not work the 200+ Cdn. Location is decent, across the river from downtown Cincinnati but go to the Holiday Inn in front or the multiple hotels in Cincinnati. Don't waster your money

Our room was nice. We didn't do the breakfast or bar. We did enjoy the pool or should say my grandson did. Have to remember the ice is on the odd floors. I was on an even floor. I will ask next time to be on an odd floor, if possible, but really not a big deal.

This hotel is nothing like the pics. Im sure at some point this was a very nice place but not anymore. It is run down. Floor in room is absolutely filthy, black feet from walking barefoot after taking shower. Mattress is stained. Bed skirt stained. The small restaurant coffee is absolutely disgusting and not drinkable even after we asked for a fresh pot still couldn't drink it. Bitter thick mud flavor. There is a lot of scratches and dents on furniture and walls. One of the elevators doesn't work properly. All the plumbing fixtures in the shower/tub are loose and not sealed with caulk. The bathroom area is ridiculously small. In general this entire place needs a deep clean everywhere from top to bottom. The restaurant on 18th floor was fun but the menu books are torn and ragged. The fabric on chairs was dirty and stained. The food was decent but the menu is very limited and the kitchen didn't have a couple items that were on the menu. In general everything was kinda run down. However, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. This is NOT a 3 star hotel. I would rate it 2 stars. The price is way too high for this place. Not worth what they ask. I would not book reservations here again.

The room was wonderful. The view was wonderful. Not a problem with the room or anything. The only problem is I paid up front the full amount plus a 50.00 security deposit. They were taking 10.00 a night out of security deposit to pay for parking. Which means I get 20.00 back. I didn't get 20.00 back and they tried to charge my card another 30.00. Plus one day we were without power for 5-6 hours. Wasn't going to walk 10 flights of steps to a hot room. Nice place but don't understand why they kept my money and tried to charge me 30.00 more. Should have taken the 30.00 off for parking for the inconvenince of no power. My daughter is at Ronald Mcdonald house and I will be coming back up but this taken my security deposit and trying to charge me 30.00 more has made me decide to look elsewhere for a room when I come back. No customer service for 5 hours without power. Thats not a good look. Hotels.com has sent me a review. Don't know how to fill that out!!!

My initial thought on walking into the lobby was that it smelled bad. I believe it was from the pool, which made me not want to use that amenity. Our room was on the 6th floor but we had to go to a different floor to get ice, which we were told, after we asked, that most of the ice machines were not in operation.
We did get a table in the restaurant, even though we had to wait until 9pm to get in. Our waitress was great and the view spectacular.

The hotel advertises two on site restaurants, even posting menus; however, neither is open. A staff member said that they had not been given any idea how long they would be closed. One of the minimum requirements for me to rent a hotel room is on site food. It was a major inconvenience, and seems to constitute false advertising.

This hotel is an actual dump. Balcony is dangerous and rickety literally almost falling off. Bed was broken. Tornado warning last night and Alarms in the hotel was going off for hours after the fact. I left within 5 hours of being there. There is also a homeless encampment in the LL parking garage. Completely disgusting and unacceptable. This property should be condemned.

The reservation we had was for a king bed city view room. When we checked in, the room that was reserved was not available. The lady that checked us in was extremely sweet and apologetic and we were given a discount off of our stay with a comparable room minus the city view. The other gentleman at the front desk was equally pleasant even though his guests that were being checked in had an issue with their reservation as well. The TV was not working so the same lady at the desk brought us new batteries for the remote but we discovered that the cord was not functioning properly. She did everything she could to ensure our stay was the best it could be. It was unfortunate that the lounge was closed but overall we enjoyed our first stay at Radisson. We will book our next visit because both of the front desk associates were phenomenal and did their very best!

Staff not helpful. Restaurant/bar closed. Why? “Because it is”. Need permission to get a drink at the 18th floor restaurant. Rude dude had to ask for permission again once we got there. Elevators super scary. Press up, plan to go down. Press up plan on going down or being stuck on the the 4th floor with the alarms going off. The pool was closed for what looked like an extended period of time. Don’t let the picture online fool you. This place is “run down”. Many guests reported seeing bugs in their room. The staff said “ok”. Let’s not forget the smell of marijuana throughout the entire facility. Even from workers. Once we returned from the concert we packed our bags and didn’t even stay for the night. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Run. Find another place quick!

The room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, there were no coffee pods to start my day. I'm sure they would have brought them, but I was in a hurry to start my day. The drain in the tub/shower was very slow so water backed up while I was showering. Overall, the value is good for a relative large city, but the facility is showing its age and needs a facelift. I did just a one night stay and was happy with my choice. I did not visit the restaurant.

When we got there to check in, my kids were talking about the pool and excited to go swimming, got the room key went and changed, got down to the pool and it was closed and drained. Would've been nice for them to say something prior to check in, considering they heard my kids talking about swimming. They did refund my money, but with an attitude.

Upon arrival myself and others guest checking in were informed that there was no hot water and could opt to make other reservations elsewhere if we choose. There seemed to be a problem with my check in since I booked with a 3rd party though I was never told the issue. Room was nice and clean though the bathroom was in need of ventilation. Also, we could not make coffee in the morning because our coffee maker didn't have a basket to put the coffee in. Room service only came to your room every 3 days. It was not a horrible experience, but enough to make me not want to book here again.

If you have an issue with bugs, this is not the place for you. From a cockroach in our room, to water bugs running through the breakfast area and the employees just kind of shrugging their shoulders because they know about it. Our waitress literally stopped to let one pass and then came back with a dustpan and just swept it up like it wasn't a big deal. One employee told me that the hotel is owned by investors and they refuse to put any money into it calling it the \"rachetson\". The AC was out on the entire first floor so the breakfast area was unbearable. I felt super sorry for the employees that had to sit at that front desk. This hotel looks like it was pretty happening at one time but has been let fall apart. I was very bummed because I've seen this hotel from the freeway for years and always wanted to stay there. I'm grateful not to have seen bed bugs but even the bottom mattresses aren't in casements like in other hotels. Our balcony door handle ripped off right in our hand when we tried to close the door and when I went to the handle on the other side of the door, it was loose too so I made someone come up and close it for us. Unacceptable. It was clean but their fix? Free breakfast. We saw the bugs and didn't even finish our food. Never again

Worst stay of my life. Asked for early check in, was told no problem. Got to hotel told couldn't check in until 4pm. Arrived at 1pm. Found out reason was no hot water. Told 3 different times it would be back on.
Both property restaurants were closed,pool was closed, sink clogged. Was my wife's BD weekend. Just ruined. Also staff was rude and impatient. Lastly, even though I booked through a 3rd party at other hotels, this property couldn't provide me with a receipt. Do not stay here. Im hoping to get my money back. Worst experience ever.

There was no warm water available and we were told it would not be fixed until 1 pm the following day. Our “no smoking” room had cigarette burns in the curtains and cigarette butts on the balcony. The air conditioning leaked water all over the carpet. The river view that I paid extra for was literally a glimpse of the river that you could see in between buildings. Terrible.

The room I stayed in was nice overall, but there were a couple issues that affected my experience.

When I arrived, I was informed that there was no hot water due to a problem, which was disappointing. I do feel like the room should have been discounted because of that inconvenience.

I also had a minor issue with the elevator it got stuck while I was going down from the 5th floor, but I was able to open the doors and take a different elevator, so it wasn’t a major hassle.

Overall, not a bad stay, but definitely some things that could be improved.

This place is a train wreck. I thought the rate was cheap because I booked it same day. But it’s probably just because it’s laughably terrible. Suuuuper dated and run down looking. Heads up they charge $10 for parking in the dimmest scariest parking garage you’ve ever seen, despite their website saying parking is included. Was told “they can’t get into the web site to update it”—how convenient. Got to the room and it is DAMP. Like, living in a rain forest damp. Lowered the temp on the ac but that made zero difference. Fridge leaked and the bed had a visible sag in the middle making for a stupid nights sleep. The view is nice but the windows looked like they hadn’t been washed since the 80s. But the BEST part is waking up to find the whole place has zero hot water and no idea when it will be fixed. Do not be fooled by the location and price. This place will enrage you.

Not a great experience. Got our room and instantly saw a cockroach in the shower. Went and told the desk and they said, we know, sorry and did nothing si we went and bought roach traps and powder ti make sure. Went swimming on the last day and there was a huge roach by the pool. Lobby smelled like sewage, the air conditioning was not cold enough. No vent in the bathroom and really dirty floors. Would not recommend staying here

This Radisson has seen its better days. Its getting quite old, but fairly well maintained. I do have an issue with how bad the elevators sounded, it was a little worrisome each time I rode in it. The rooms were still kept clean. For the price, better than other places in the area and very convenient for football and baseball games in Cincinnati. They did charge $10 per day parking fee which I do not remember seeing on the online site.

Been here years ago and the rooms seemed cleaner then. Now they look a bit worn out, but we are talking almost a decade. Pool was there we didn't get to use it. However, the front desk staff needs to properly trained so they don't say one thing and then say another. I was treated quite rudely and rushed out of the room. I started by requesting a later check out even if I had to pay a difference. I was advised they don't do late check outs and ask for 30 minutes while I got my stuff together. Then I was harassed at 20 after. Due to miscommunication provided on their behalf. At the end front staff I believe her name was Leslie was supper rude for no reason. I was checking out on a Monday I'm pretty sure the hotel wasn't fully booked come the next evening. Then as I was leaving another couple was loading up their car and they where approved a 1 pm check at no cost. I was like this is unbelievable. I do travel often and usually have better assistance than this. I had flown in for a Reds game and the taste of Cincinnati.

The restaurant was closed. They only cleaned the rooms every 3 days. The linen in the gym had not been emptied during my entire stay, adding to the odor of the room.
There was no telephone in the room to reach the front desk. I was dissapointed, however, the view from the room was amazing!

My first impression was the lobby smelled of weed. Room was clean also bed comfortable. However if you stay on the highway side...I now see why there is ear plugs in the room, very loud but they do really try to cut down on the noise of traffic by the 2 panes of glass sliding doors but renders the balcony useless. I would stay again but not the traffic side of the hotel.

The highway noise was so loud that I noticed packaged earplugs on the table in the room beside the tv remote. The food service is the bright spot for this property. They had given up my reservation because my flight was delayed so I was only able to check in at 5:30am and then had to wait to be rebooked. The front desk were not friendly or helpful at all. Looked at us and asked our name and said okay I need a card. I booked this hotel to go to the spinning dinner. Well we get there and its not open and does not open until Wednesday. I was so pissed that not one person could tell me that. Also get back around 1130 and there is like the front desk person's boyfriend or whom ever he was at the front desk and she was way too busy to help us. All we wanted was a list of food places that would deliver to the hotel. Well no help went to the room and used door dash. Also when we got there. The trash and the sheets were thrown outside the room just sitting there and stayed there all night. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. very Very disappointed and not worth our money at all. Staff people did good when I canceled, I couldn’t stay more then half hour. Pictures from the hotel is nothing like that when you go there. Smell like weed and sweat all the time, bed was not comfortable at all. I can say that was clean enough. About their view I reserved a city view and my city view was the parking lot with highways, even if you stay there you probably wouldn’t have a good rest for the noise outside and the music of people they have inside too. Horrible 30 min of my staying.

We have stayed several times at this hotel. We have never had a bad experience until this time. We had 3 rooms booked for 2 nights. The front desk staff tried to be helpful but the rooms were not clean, the restaurant not open, the pool was very cloudy and dirty and most of the time we smelled MJ wherever we were. We understand Ohio is legal but thought choosing a Ky hotel it might be better with 6 small children. We will not be returning. When we approached the front desk about our concerns they apologized and told it was under new mgt.

Pool was very cloudy. The filter was poor or not working couldn't swim.
Front staff was inappropriately dresses with a large chain around the neck with a pad lock. As well as a key looped into his ear ( not a necklace by any means). Did not give an appropriate first impression. Broken items in the room such as the toilet paper holders not being attached to the wall. Mattress were old and sinking.

Smokers outside close to the door made that smell float in. The staff member who checked me in was not professional appearing in physical clothing but in attitude. Weed smell in elevator. Room was adequate at best. Ice machine did not work on my floor and stopped working on the next I tried. When asked about my stay, I replied 'no, I didn't enjoy it' and she did not follow up reply 'oh I'm sorry ' or 'what was the issue' or 'what can we do better'. I canceled staying there on my return trip.

This Radisson Hotel Cincinnati Riverfront is dated, but honestly, it shouldn’t be. It’s in a great location, and all the rooms appeared to have balconies. That said, the rooms definitely show their age with some peeling paint, outdated tile, and older carpet. The sheets and beds were average, but our room had its own in-wall HVAC unit that cooled very well.

The hotel’s biggest selling point is “The 18th,” the rotating restaurant on the 18th floor. From my research, there are only a handful of rotating restaurants left in the U.S., so this was a unique experience. The 360-degree city and landscape views were absolutely fantastic, and we got some great pictures.

Surprisingly, the food was not dated like the building itself. It was actually above average, and the skyline views made the dining experience even better. The staff was pleasant, although on a Friday evening I only saw a handful of couples dining there, which was disappointing considering how unique the restaurant is.

We visited during the Maifest festival, and it was literally across the street from the hotel. The festival was great, and the surrounding bars and restaurants were all within walking distance. The immediate downtown area adjacent to the hotel felt safe and welcoming.

We also visited the Ark Encounter, which was about a 25-minute drive away and definitely eye-opening.

Bottom line — was the price worth it? Would I stay again? Should you consider it? And do I hope the owners update the property?
