High Desert Inn was just what we hoped it would be. It was convenient, clean, and pleasant. The staff was professional and courteous. We were able to enjoy our evening in Salena and get back on the road the next day.
We enjoyed the food and service at El Mexicano just up the road a bit.

The room had recently been renovated from flooring to overhead light fixtures. The heater kept the room warm even in below freezing night temps without the loud fan some motels have that go on and off all night. Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff was personable. We would stay again.

The room was clean and had a fridge and microwave. I was disappointed in the mattress, it was very firm and not comfortable. We were told that we were in a “quiet” spot of the building, but we had people on all sides and above us. Overall 3 out of 5.

I now understand why others rated this motel so highly before me. It is an older establishment in a small town that has been beautifully maintained. The staff were very friendly and the room was immaculate. We were very comfortable and I would happily stay there again. We also visited the Mom and Pop pizza place down the street and it was excellent. Both I highly recommend.

Recently remodeled motel that was quiet, safe and comfortable. The rooms were newly updated and very clean. Family owned and operated, you can tell that they care about the upkeep and cleanliness of the rooms. The bed was comfortable and the other guests were very quiet. Located in a really small city, if I ever needed a hotel room in this area, I would definitely stay here again.

This absolutely is the cleanest and best maintained motel we have stayed in that also has pet friendly rooms. The staff at check-in, even late at night, are extremely friendly, price is decent, parking good, and overall area and motel are great. They even have a dog bed in the pet friendly rooms. Additionally, there is a middle and elementry school a few blocks away where you can walk your dogs. Overall, we had a great experience and stay here, and if you need somewhere nice to stay in this area, definitely stay here.

Salina Utah is a very small town. The building was older - like a motor lodge (you can tell I’m old! 72). Inside the rooms had all been updated very nicely. The beds were so comfortable. The water for a morning shower was hot! The young man at the front desk was happy and helpful. We ask for a good place to have dinner - he suggested the Hot Spot around the corner. It was great food, great service by a group of high school kids, many options for burgers, hot dogs and fries and more flavors of milkshakes than I’ve ever seen!! Reminded me of a similar place across from our high school years ago. It was a great stay in a sweet little Utah town!!

This hotel is not handicap accessible. The front desk clerk was high as kite and the front office was full of marijuana smoke. They tried to update room but left old nasty tubs, hard beds.

Very nice family owned motel. Salina is a small uneventful town yet this place was an excellent location for our agenda. We stayed four days. They have a little countyard with a great grill, refrigerator and microwave. The shower was awesome with terrific pressure. Clean place. Highly recommended for just pulling off the road and getting rest or staying some as we did. 5 Stars!!

The owners have done many upgrades and are continuously improving the facilities. The staff is all family relations; all were friendly, accommodating and onsite for the duration of our stay.

From the quick check in, clean room and conversation it was a winner from the get go! As a half way stop to Denver we will use this gem of a motel going forward!

They threatened to charge me $100 if my dog was on anything other than the floor so we did not stay and then they refused to issue a refund even though we did not stay because of their policies that were not mentioned on the website or in a call to their location.

This is a cute motel. The staff was friendly and mentioned some nearby places to get food or groceries which were all walkable and had good food. The room was clean and mostly quiet. The AC can be a bit noisy but not too much more than your typical hotel/motel room.
