The effort to make each set of rooms feel time authentic yet have all the mod cons was amazing. We had dinner, a three course set meal which offered great choice and excellent food, service and all round experience. Would definitely return a d recommend to all.

We booked a romantic room but instead received the key of a completely different room. It wasn’t expected. The bed was comfortable but the bedroom atmosphere was cold. I would suggest to install some draperies and a large rug to make it more appealing at least.

We had a two night stay and enjoyed it but no kettle or tv in our room seemed a bit odd. Like most of France arriving on a Sunday makes it hard to find any where to eat the same on Monday night. We found it a good base to explore the chateau’s of the Loire area

This was an amazing experience. The rooms were beautifully crafted and the bed as good as home. We dined in the stylish restaurant. The proprietor of the hotel was also the chef. An incredible meal that I hold as one of my favourites.

Owner could not speak English. I don't expect everyone to speaks English but when hosting guests it is important for someone to be able to speak to the guests.
there is a restaurant there but no menu - we couldn't find out what was going to be served so had to leave and have dinner elsewhere.
we had advised we wanted breakfast between 8-8.30am. no one was about at 8.10 so we waited till 8.30 and still no one was around. we ended up leaving and had to get breakfast elsewhere.

Le domaine est un établissement situé au abords de FONTEBRAUD. La zone de stationnement est est vaste car le domaine également un restaurant.
L'accès ce fait par un porche. Une boutique de savonnerie et atelier dédié au savons y sont présentes.
La chambre que nous avons eu est très spacieuse (car séjour 3 jours).. Nous avons appréciés les commodités du petit déjeuner avec produits terroirs et la piscine. Autour de l'établissement possibilité de promenades pédestre et vélo. Et surtout l'accès facile aux châteaux de la Loire sur un rayons de 50 kms

Moins bien qu’il y a 6 ans. J’avais découvert ce lieu par hasard et j’avais été comme émerveillée. J’ai pris la même chambre= suite 8. Il y a eu des rénovations . Très bien. Mais quelque chose du charme que j’avais ressenti a disparu. De plus il y a une odeur désagréable que je ne peux définir. Sans doute manque d’aération. Ce que j’ai fait en arrivant.
Pour l’ameublement il manque une table. L’unique chaise était inutilisable car le paillage était troué.

Séjour parfait, très bon accueil. Ambiance chaleureuse et familiale. Piscine intérieure de toute beauté et relaxante au possible, très bien pensé. Nicolas à la cuisine (et au service ce jour là ) a été génial.

Excellent établissement, pour un séjour et visiter Saumur et sa région. La chambre est confortable, joliment décorée avec goût. Un bémol: pas de téléviseur dans la chambre. La salle de bains est vaste et parfaitement équipée avec des sanitaires et robinetterie de qualité.
L'endroit est calme,; le jardin de l'établissement est planté d'arbres anciens et agrémenté de fleurs. Les fauteuils et chaises longues invitent au repos et à la rêverie.

Très bonne découverte. Le charme d'une \"maison\" de campagne entièrement restaurée avec ses murs épais, ses grosses poutres, son carrelage ancien, le calme...avec un subtile mélange de modernité.
Rien à dire sur la propreté de la chambre et du lieu, tout simplement impeccable.
