A real Spanish Experience
A Cortijo that has been in the family for 4generations and has reared bulls for the corrida . This is a family committed to an old way of life. The bulls are within easy distance almost touchable. We had olive wood on the fire at night as we ate our meal prepared by Ramona and decided upon at breakfast time. We speak spanish and I think if you don't you need to be aware of the fact Ramona and Maria Jesus do not.
We spent 2days here in March with our dog and loved the peace and quiet and were ble to walk around and relax. The weather was great and that night we had a \"tormento\" storm with lightning and thunder and because we were so high up and further away from the heart of the storm the sky was fantastic.
The downside is the road to the farm! It took us 30 minutes of rough track. We were driving a Saab estate and needed a 4x4 so we did take things slowly so you need to be aware of this.
We loved the place and it was a wonderful experience .
