It is incredible that the gym opens very late at 10 AM.
And staff in the reception are snob and unable to help or try to help.
The fees were never disclosed and I didn’t get any receipt.
The location is great and the lady in charge of the restaurant is so nice the receptionist should learn from her.

Ecrin Blanc was a great ski in and ski out property, with a good restaurant inside the hotel for both dinner and breakfast. Service especially in the ski valet was fantastic.

Awful smell like being in a sewage treatment works

I come here to write a review on our experience at Ecrin Blanc and now wonder how my review will be pulled apart and I will be generally ridiculed like many others when I get a reply from the hotel PR managers, but here goes….
We check in, all is going well, we are shown to two rooms by a young gent who has a rather odd manner, no problem really but one thing really struck me when he showed us our room. We entered the lift and he walked in too, facing us and standing in the doorway with his elbows out, blocking the doorway. Very odd we all thought. We find out later why…
We go to our two rooms, mine and my wife’s room is fine, my children’s we walked in to a single bed rather than the two requested and the most awful drains smell, with a smell of faeces and an incredibly strong smell of some kind of perfume, clearly to mask the obnoxious smell in the room. My teenage boys joke and say it stinks in their room and the beds are wrong. The chap listens and goes off to resolve the beds, although we don’t realise he is ignoring the comment about the smell.
I then meet this same chap again in the lobby, only this time he is showing new guests to their room. He enters the lift just like with us, again stands in the way of the lift opening with his elbows out and presses the close door button immediately as entering, despite being aware of my presence eating for the lift. Now I get the aggressive stance, you are irrelevant to him now, his charm is short lived..

We loved our time here. We came in summer, and the water park adjacent was pretty great, even though the wave pool was down for repairs on the day we went. We also walked 5 min to the escalators up to 1650 to eat. This was really nice not to use the car. All employees were great, but especially Ali for valet parking and Claire at reception helped us very much. My only small complaint is that I am very sensitive to scents and get headaches and the hotel makes liberal use of fragrances. I wish they toned it down a bit. But otherwise great. Breakfast was outstanding too.

A truly magnificent experience comparable with and surpassing many five star resorts we have visited. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, rooms are spacious and immaculately clean and well maintained, decorated tastefully. Ski-in, ski-out is literally at your doorstep and ski hire service exceptional and reasonably priced by comparison to other local ski hire options. Food was first class. Already planning the next trip. A huge thank you to Ecrin Blanc from me and my family.

Stay here, stay here, stay here. Upon check-in, we were taken to our room and given a tour of the hotel. All staff spoke sufficient English to assist us. The rooms were exceptionally clean, sufficiently roomy, and cozy. Lack of cooling AC was not an issue even in late July. They do have a system that brings in fresh filtered outside air to keep the rooms from getting stuffy. Dinner on the patio at the hotel restaurant was pleasant. The pool complex, Aquamotion, across the street and adjoined to the hotel by an underground tunnel, was great. My husband and I enjoyed the pools and lunch at the pool-side restaurant. Everything there was very clean and extremely well kept.

Hotel is nice, but overpriced. Never buy Collision Damage Insurance from Expedia. Lots of bureaucracy. I damaged a wheel on rented car. However paid extra insurance, already 3 weeks cannot get insurance paid back. Endless e-mails and phone calls. Better buy such insurance directly from Rent Car company, you assured then not to get charged by them in case of damage.

What a find! This relatively new hotel is so well done. Amazing common areas( the only thing missing is a pool table in this massive empty room that was begging for some games). A playful art theme was threaded throughout the hotel. The staff which was super friendly and the rooms very well appointed with plenty of space for clothes. Ski in ski out was also really easy, a lift right outside the ski room, as was the ski shop to rent gear so we didn’t have to bring everything from the states. Highly recommend this hotel. It was also nice to be right across the street from the aqua center which we used daily. All around thumbs up Ecrin. We will be back!

I don't like service at the resection (they forgot to do many things for me: to book the restaurant, bought ski passa for 2 days instead of 4 days), always big line to the reception, there is not a Concierge), bad cleaning in the room, bad service at the restaurant on breakfast.

the hotel is amazing the food is good and the property is almost new. Easy to get the bus next to the hotel and easy to park.

Enjoyed a fantastic visit, here. The staff are friendly — helped us check in early (so we could ski the day we arrived) and helped us book a taxi (for the ride back to the train station at Moutiers). Our room was clean, spacious with a nice mountain view. The ski locker is really great/convenient (the built-in ski boot drying system is great) and equipment rental from the in-house ski shop made it easy. The kids loved the Aquamotion water slides. And with immediate access to the trails, we were able to start early and carve first tracks. Highly recommended.

The hotel is nice and has good facilities, the front desk are all helpful, the only thing was that they didn’t explain well about the new year party, the room wasn’t cleaned well, they didn’t change the towels and the garbage cans, the resort is 10 min away driving from the ski area and all restaurants, if you want to use a taxi is 50 Euro one way, this hotel was very expensive while you can find more hotels that are cheaper up more and closer to the restaurants and ski area

We really enjoyed our stay! Hotel is new, rooms are spacious and comfortable. Staff is very helpful and attentive. Great location. Very good breakfast and service at the restaurant. Spa which is connected to the hotel is just amazing! We’re planning to come back in winter season.

Ease of access to skiing pistes, the hotel has its own telesiege and is convenient to access Courchevel 1850 & 1650 pistes. The hotel is isolated, however, if you don't have a car it will be difficult to go out in the afternoon or at night to go shopping and eat out. We had a rental car available the whole week parked in the hotel underground parking so getting around was no issue. However, if you won't have a car during your stay getting around on foot and by bus etc can be discouraging and bothersome. Overall excellent hotel with full access to the Aquamotion waterpark.

It’s very new and there is a gondola next to the hotel. However the slope next to the hotel is blue, so you need to have some basic skills to ski in and out of the hotel.

Great location for skiing near Courchevel Village (1550) with excellent ski in/out location and Ski room and beautiful new building and facilities. Poor management with rooms not ready for check in until almost 5 PM and no Kleenex boxes or trash cans in the rooms and no clue or instructions on using the phone system. Staff is nice and mostly young and very eager to do a good job but strongly lacking good management and training!!!

Very hard to communicate no English speaking people , breakfast is horrible, not enough cups dishes to use to get just tea could take up to 5 min , never seen such a mess in my life . Hotel is new maybe management should take care of staff . At a check in room was not provided at 4 pm as it should be we got it at 7:30 pm very disappointed

it is well located as one could ski in and out of the property directly but you need to be atleast an intermediate skier- comfortable on blue slopes!

O café da manhã achei que poderia ter mais frutas! Nenhuma fruta vermelha. O café da tarde poderia ter opção salgada. E a localização do hotel é boa, mas ficar nas cidadezinhas seria ainda melhor. Atendimento OK. Mas quero parabenizar o rapaz do estacionamento, muito educado e prestativo.

Fiquei 3 dias sem serviço de quarto.
Enquanto eu estava no quarto 1 pessoa do sexo masculino entrou sem bater na porta ou avisar.
Dentro do meu late check out me ligaram insistentemente pra sair do quarto e tive meu quarto invadido sem minha autorização novamente.
Frutas do café da manhã passadas e com aspectos de estragadas.
Limpeza péssima.
Não repuseram água.

Goede locatie bij de stoeltjes lift, mooie suites.

Het restaurant is een drama. Ze vergeten de bestellingen, het eten is van zeer matige kwaliteit. Maar het bedienend personeel snapt er helemaal niets. Zelfs als je om de rekening vraagt moet je half uur wachten.
Ook de liften zijn niet voldoende aanwezig, waardoor je altijd minimaal 5 minuten staat te wachten.

Skønt hotel i det smukkeste område

Et dejligt hotel i et meget smukt område, hvor der er masser aktiviteter at tage sig til. Vi fik god hjælp fra hotellet i forhold til at anbefale turer osv. Man kan mærke, at alle ansatte på hotellet gør hvad de kan, for at deres gæster er tilpasse. Der er mange frit tilgængelige spil på selve hotellet, passende for både børn og voksne.
Vi lejede elcykler, med guide, det var feriens højdepunkt. Vores børn elskede Aquamotion og fik mange timer til at gå der.
Gode senge.
Hotellet ligger lige op af en vej, så der var trafikstøj, men i samlede billede betød det ikke meget.
