The reviews that were posted before are so far off !! We were given a smoking room at first. I went to the front office and the nice gentleman switched out the room. 2nd room smelled so bad and had black stains in the tub. Carpet is from 70’s, walls need attention and parking lot a little scary. We left could not even stay there. I paid $135 for a dump. Reached out to the property and no response.

For the cost, it was just ok.

Room was not as well kept as I would have wanted. Blankets had stains, drywall work was horrible which makes it look unkept, shower curtain was black, like dirty/moldy, faucet in bathtub leaked. light bulbs burned out.

We did appreciate the double mattress cover for bugs.

We only stayed one night and this hotel was one of the only with a room available. The front desk clerk could not have cared less that we were checking in and did not even write the wifi password on the key packet. The toilet was disgusting, with a ring of scum or mold or something in the bowl. Hairs on the floor, dust all over, very dated. For the price we paid this was a huge disappointment.

This is not somewhere we would have chosen to stay. It was the only available place for our needs. It was adequate, but certainly needed updated. The door to our room was quite uninviting and dirty. Could use a scrubbing and coat of paint. Room was very large, consisted of 2 rooms. One with a jacuzzi that we didn’t use, and the bedroom with a king sized bed that was pretty comfortable. The air conditioner was not enough to cool both rooms and there was a floor fan to use. Bathroom sink was slow to drain. The shower needs a grab bar for safe entry and exit. Furniture needs updating. Breakfast bar was limited. WiFi info was not volunteered, had to ask. No info on tv cable usage. Not the standard we’re used to but was adequate.

Service at the counter was professional no complaints at all. Our room was clean and seemed to be well taken care of. The only issue I had was the ramp in the back where my room was had been blocked. If i had not been accompanied by a friend I wouldn't have been able to get up onto the sidewalk to enter my room. There was a van parked right next to the ramp as there was a parking spot there but no room to use the ramp.

Great view possible on the lake facing side upper rooms. Room had nearly everything I needed.
The room was definitely clean but some chemical they use has a VERY strong odor, I had to run a hot shower for a while to make the odor non-intrusive. No USB outlets for charging devices, but TV had one which worked to keep my phone from dropping charge.

Overall good experience, staff is very friendly and helpful.

We were put in a smoking room, it was filthy. Sun shining on the pictures on the wall all spotty, coffee or something had dried on the wall. Dirty wash cloth hanging on top of shower curtain ( hard as a rock). Some type of dried on food stuck in mirror. Told management about this. We stayed here last year 2021 and did not have this experience. I did not ask for smoking room.

WORST EVER!

This place was the worst ever! I asked for a non-smoking room but they put me next to a smoking room with an adjoining door. It wreaked of smoke! It was in the pillows, beding, towels. My clothes wreaked of smoke. I asked if I could get a new room but they said all was booked up. This is the second Americas \"best\" hotel I stayed in, STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!

Good location close to downtown and restaurants. The room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Employees were nice. The price was very reasonable. Only complaints are old stained bedcover and the railing outside the room was covered (and I mean covered) in bird droppings. A good power washing would have made things much better.

Not a clear view, on a dripping faucet & dirty tub

It wasn't terrible but the shower was black around
The drain and up the side the faucet dripped the whole tie we was there we had to pay extra because it was a premium room i really didn't see the premium side of this room for you couldn't'' see out the window for it was so stained from the seal being broken and moister leaking between the two panes but over all it had a bed to sleep in.

I love the fact that when you open the curtain, we got to see the beautiful lake. However we couldn't sit outside at night or evening do to all the bugs flying around the lights outside our door that we had to fight to get into our room. Other than that the stay was ok. The staff didn't hardly say anything to us. I will stay here again.

Booked a smoking room for three nights due to working in the area. I expected some smoke smell due to being a smoking room but it was SO STRONG I didn’t even bring my clothes in. The king size bed was horribly uncomfortable, you could feel every spring. Being across from the lake, the view was nice. But it was very damp in the room, they need dehumidifiers on the rooms like the other hotel by the lake I stayed in. Not sure what’s going on with thier towels but they were the scratchiest towels I’ve ever used! At least you get exfoliated real good with each use! Lol. The location was convenient with place to eat close by. The little mosquito like bugs were TERRIBLE. They were swarmed so bad on the outside wall and the door to my room that I had problems even getting into my room the first morning after work. I called the office and they said there was nothing they could do being beside the lake. Well, the other hotel by the lake didn’t have this issue. This place was just not for me. I won’t be back.

I did not realize that it was all outside entrance/walk to rooms. It did not say on the web site. Also due to COVID-19 there was no breakfast option.
The room was not cleaned WELL prior to occupying. There was garbage under the bed and the floor around tub was wet.
Other things but those were the most unsatisfying.

The property is nice the man in office was very nice the room is nice but not properly cleaned! Didnt want to turn heat unit on cause dust caked on it last thing i wanna do is breath that in filters were even caked....i got the whirlpoolsuite for anniversary and its a big beautiful tub but by the time i got water over jets turned them on and alot of yucky hair and black stuff flew all in water so had to drain and clean twice and now at 2:00am can finally sit in it so very disappointing and stressful need better housekeeping
