The area is ok very close toctheain attractions and things but near a police station so basically all night it's sirens. The staff were nice enough but they made kind of a big deal about us leaving our bags there the day we checked out which is pretty standard practice for a hotel so not sure why that was such a problem

I found it to be very clean, comfortable, quiet...the reception staff spoke Good English and were very helpful and friendly.
Edgar, if I remember his name correctly, helped provide me directions on how to go to the Palacio Royale and the cathedral near it. He also recommended a good breakfast resto and gave me directions to Apartamentos Mayor plus cost of taxi fare.

good location but staff barely speaks English, the elevator is ancient and didn't work part of the time, and I got the third degree when a friend came over to visit -- he had to show ID and they wrote his name down.

This hostel is basic the room was small and the bathroom was modern and clean situated on Gran Via the major road that runs through Madrid therefore there was a lot of noise however it was centrally situated for all the tapas bars and restaurants and within walking distance of many sites such as the Royal Palace and Plaza Mayor and only a short metro ride from Retiero park and many of the museums was good value for money

I would say that our stay served its purpose. It could’ve been better if our room was cleaned better. We stayed 4 days and 3 nights and we don’t think our floor was ever cleaned. Other than that our stay was comfortable. Location was great because we were close to everything.

Recently Renovated hotel on gran vie
I was very impressed with this hostel for the price. We got a single room with bathroom and it was awesome. Everything was new and clean. The common area was quiet which was fine. It overlooked a small courtyard and street which were nice to look at through the large windows that opened up. Location was good, right down the street from the metro and within walking distance to plaza del sol. I recommend it to anyone!

Good value for money. Room clean, reasonably comfortable and quiet (especially considering it was on second floor overlooking Gran Via). Towels, shampoo, soap ok. TV poor. Internet access good. Booked day before and wondered why Saturday was three times price for other 2 days. Arrived to find first night was at a much overpriced hotel on 5th floor and needed to transfer hotels at noon the next day. So if one day dearer, beware!

Budget hostel but not a budget hostel
Como cualquier otro Hostel, cuartos pequeños. La recepciónista fue muy cordial y nos cambió de habitación debido a que tengo claustrofobia. La habitación quedaba frente al gran via pero pero no se oía el ruido de la calle. Baños limpio, aire acondicionado. Un poco costoso.

11時ごろホテルに到着したが、すぐにチェックインできて部屋に入ることができた。（たまたまかもしれませんが）
イマイチな点：
部屋が狭く、大きなスーツケースを広げるのに苦労した。
古いビルの一部（2階部分）を利用しており、入口がわかり難い。鍵は電子キーではなく物理的なキーを３つ渡された（ビルの入口用、ホテルの入口ドア用、部屋用）
周囲にはいろいろな飲食店があるが、大通りの裏には中華系の飲食店が多かった。ただほとんど人が入っておらず怖かった。

La ubicación excelente, a pesar de estar en la gran vía, no se oída a penas el tráfico, habitación muy sencilla pero con lo necesario, un pero es que no hay enchufe en una de las mesitas, y la limpieza sólo pasan hacer las camas y cambio de toallas si te hace falta, el baño no lo limpian y desinfectan cómo toca. Algo muy positivo el personal de recepción, muy amables. Seguro que para otro viaje de poco tiempo volveremos.

En general está bien. Muy buena ubicación.Limpio y el personal muy agradable. En esta época del año ya hacía mucho calor. Nuestra habitación tenía el aire acondicionado que dejaba de funcionar cada dos por tres. Lo dijimos constantemente y no nos resolvieron el problema. Mi experiencia no ha sido muy buena no se puede descansar a primera hora de la mañana el recepcionista se pone a dar indicaciones a las limpiadoras en las puertas de las habitaciones y te despierta todos los días

Todo muy bien. Es la primera vez que utilizo esta modalidad y fue muy buena en relación precio calidad y ubicación. El hecho que no haya personal permanente, supongo típico de esta modalidad no me ayudaba con algunas cuestiones como que no salía el agua caliente o al llegar la primera vez, no sabía cómo contactar para entrar. Pero una vez que ingrese se dieron las condiciones para entrar y salir sin problemas

初めての海外一人旅で1週間利用しました。場所はマドリードの中心地にあり、何処に行くにも便利でした。地下鉄の駅も近くにありました。但し、通勤時間帯は外して移動した方が良いと思います。ホテルの周りは人通りも多く、夜でも安心して歩けました。直ぐ近くにスーパーマーケットが見つからなかったので、外出中に買って帰りました。水とかは直ぐ近くのお店で買えるし、少し割高ですが、ホテルの自動販売機で買えました。ホテルの入り口は分かりづらいので、ドアに61と書いてあるので、それを目印にした方が分かりやすいと思います。フロントは2階にあり、エレベーターで上がれます。フロントは24時間対応でした。但し、建物の入り口はセキュリティの関係でインターフォンで呼び出しで開けてもらいました。チェックインの対応も良く、Wi-Fiの設定番号も直ぐ渡してくれましたが、手書きなので、a.eが分かりづらく、解読するのに時間がかかりましたが、その他の対応は問題ありませんでした。部屋は広いですが、陽当たりの関係でやや暗く感じましたが、余り気になりませんでした。お風呂はシャワーだけです。お湯の温度と水圧は問題なく、アメニティも揃っていました。ヘアードライヤーも備え付けでありました。毎日、ベッドメイキングもあり、清潔ですが、タオルはややくたびれた感がありました。洗濯はしてあるので問題はありません、部屋は裏通りに面しているため、静かでした。建物内部はリニューアルしてあり、清潔感のあるつくりでした。ホテルにはレストランがありません。周りには、カフェやマクドナルドがあるので大変便利でした。洗濯については、Googleで探しました。歩いて7分位の所にありました。洗濯機と乾燥機が分かれてあり、洗剤もいりませんでした。両替機も備え付けでありました。時間帯で非常に混む時間があります。空いた時間で近くのカフェでゆっくり過ごしました。とにかく、便利がよく、ほぼ歩いて観光できる場所でした。日本人の滞在者とはあいませんでしたが、問題なく、宿泊できると思います。

Central beliggenhed og fint værelse med plads til en familie på 4. Ikke luxus, men OK til at overnatte i et par dage. Prisen var absolut i orden for 4 personer. Hotellet har ikke restaurant, men der er mange lige i nærheden.

Muy cercano para ir andando por el centro de Madrid, de los principales teatros( Lope de Vega, Coliseum, cines...) Habitación triple (con 4 camas) suficiente para fin de semana, baño también adecuado. Vistas a Gran Vía, con dos grandes ventanales. Metro de Plaza España y Callao muy cerca. Para desayunar en el VIPS, al lado del hotel, ofrece gran variedad y precio razonable.
Personal amable. Limpieza y mobiliario correctos.
Algo para mejorar : una de las ventanas no cerraba bien , las cortinas ajustaban regular.

Bon Hostal très bien placé.
Bon acceuil. Trés bon état géneral de l'hostal. Chambre comme neuve et surface suffisante.Salle de bain avec douche à l'italienne, séche cheveux, et serviettes de bain.
Bien situé à 100 métre du mètro Place d'Espagne, trés pratique, quant on vient de l'aéroport et pour la visite de Madrid.Le seul bémol c'est le bruit, la chambre posséde un balcon sur la calle Gran Via, et qui dit Gran circulation et Gran bruit malgrés un double vitrage pas suffisament éfficace. Ma femme avait des boules quies et avec, sa passe. Il y a des chambres avec vue sur court intérieure et donc au calme.
Aprés une bonne journée de marche et de visite, j'ai quand même pu dormir mes 6 à 7 Heures
