It is definitely kid and pet friendly. Was nice to see kids aloowed to play and they left to go to their rooms at curfew.
The staff was very curtious and helpful. Only issue was our toilet started leaking and then overflowed for no reason . Had to do a quick towel drop so as not to flood our room

Front desk lady are extremely rude and unhappy, amenities terrible, they doesn't have in every room soap, towels or toothpaste. I requested and she was very uncomfortable to help. At least she gave us (4 person) 1 single and very tiny soap, that she found it inside into the other room to get it. And gave us 4 towels.
Breakfast was good. Place was good.

Standard hotel, though it’s showing its age and could use an upgrade. The chairs in the lobby were dirty and thread bare. Check-in was easy, however, the person who checked us in never raised his head and made eye contact with us. The beds were quite comfortable, but the platforms underneath were starting to fall apart. The bathroom was filthy, dirt in the corners and baseboards, mildew in the shower, urine and hair on the toilet. It was also difficult to sleep, because there is quite a bit of truck noise from the interstate, which is not the hotel’s fault, just be aware. If we ever pass this way again, we will certainly choose a different hotel.

It was a nice hotel. Got a noise complaint from the other guest staying in an adjoining room from us. They did not verify our “noise” before calling us and asking us to quiet down. All we were doing was sitting in the bed playing uno. Whatever tho! Haha. Also we got an expired Diet Coke from the vending machine.

I was a bit disappointed as this comfort inn needed major updating. The check in area that was in the same area of the breakfast are had 2 garbage pails due to water leaking from the ceiling. The room that I was in was great in size and roomy but can tell that it was not cleaned probably as their was food particles on the floor next to the bed. Then there was only 1 towel for 4 pple. when i asked the front desk they had none. SMH. the rugs in the hallway, the wallpaper, etc....need to be vacuumed and wiped down. I paid $300 for my 2 night stay bc i was visiting family for the weekend and this hotel was closest to them. I wont be staying at this hotel chain again.

Everything about this location is awful. The photos are deceiving. There was no current safety/inspections posted. The vents were covered in black dust, the bathrooms were moldy and green, there were no sprinklers in the room. The staff was awful as well. The breakfast being served, was being picked at by one of the staff members while I was waiting in line. there were trash cans in the eating area, catching leaking water from the ceiling.

Nothing was fresh, fake eggs an no fruit. The entire place stunk of dampness, cracked walls, electrical lines dangling from ceiling.

Floor needed to be vacuumed, freezer unit in refrigerator was broken, hair in the shower, broken toilet seat base, and key did not work after the first day and had to be replaced. Moisture would accumulate on the window and would pool at the bottom of the frame and onto the floor below. There was no fan in the bathroom to alleviate moisture buildup. Breakfast is supposed to be from 7:00-10:00, but when I came down a little after 9:00 they were already clearing it up.

Old pictures in the listing. Place needs some updating. A bit rundown. Not falling apart but pretty close. Not the dirtiest but definitely not the cleanest. The hallways were dark, dirty and dingy. the room was visually clean from a distance but when you look close, there’s dust, dirt and grime in every corner. Didn’t encounter any bugs. floors in my room were cracked and had visual wear and tear. the bathroom faucet and the base of the toilet seat had some dust and hair and obviously sprayed and wiped down with minimal effort. Hotel is in a nice area and the breakfast was good, the woman who worked there that was in the breakfast area was very nice but was also very eager to make sure everyone was out of that area the minute it was over. Overall ok stay, but the place needs a lot of cleaning and upgrading. The attached restaurant was great!

We checked in Saturday. For a hunting trip up the mountains. There was mold/mildew in the shower area. The bed was on some makeshift 2x4 bed frame. By Tuesday the room was never cleaned so we called down. Was told that cleaner was off. Wednesday still not cleaned. Thursday. Still not cleaned. We left a day early. When asking the front desk for clean towels he huffed when we had to go get them. Wish there was a way to upload pictures.

The staff didn't even make an attempt to appear as if the cleaned the room. There were pistachio shells right on the floor in the middle of the room. Not like they were missed in a corner. When we got to the room, I had to clean it. The ice bucket had stuff on it. The floor hadn't been swept. There were bugs alive and dead on the floor. A pile of dush on the light between the two beds. Flying Chinese beetles on the ceiling. I asked to have my room swept the next morning was told that that doesn't usually happen, then i let the front desk know that i didn't think it had been previously. When we got back someone had come in to sweep.

This place is run down. The breakfast wasn’t great…just your normal free breakfast. We were supposed to have a king room but got 2 full beds. I went to the front desk & she gave us a king bed and said she “upgraded” us to a suite free of charge but it was down in the basement type floor and sketchy. The suite just had a living room area but with no tv. I was hoping for the jetted tub…not a living area that we didn’t need or use. She wasn’t friendly either. And housekeeping didn’t come on day 2. That was our 2nd time staying there but we will not be staying there again.

Desk person was on the her cell phone watching videos. We waited over 5 minutes will she watched. Gave us a key card to a room that was already occupied embarrassing the couple already in it. Went back to front desk, she replied yes I knew I did that, no apology. Run down, dirty. The toilet and sink was backed up. The person at the front said she was too busy to deal with it. Said she'd give us a plunger. Many, including us went across the street to McDonalds for breakfast because the coffee was empty, out of eggs and sausage was cold. This place is a true nightmare.

Not the best Comfort Inn I’ve ever stayed at.

Not very welcoming after a long drive. No smiles.
WIFI was very poor. Bed was extremely uncomfortable.
Toilet was “squished” into the bathroom in a diagonal position (very weird—that’s a first for us). See pictures below. They had Fox Television blaring in the breakfast room and wouldn’t change the channel because, as they said, “We watch it” meaning the desk clerk…in other words, it’s not for the hotel guests. Finally, the tv channel would go out every 5 minutes, freeze, and then come back.

I stayed here for a weekend festival over the summer. The accommodations were basic but convenient for being close to the event, which was exactly what I needed. My main frustration was that during my four-night stay, the TV never worked — and it seemed I wasn’t the only one having this issue. The staff did try to fix it a few times, but by the end of each night, I still couldn’t just relax and watch TV in bed. Since I was traveling alone, that was disappointing, and I ended up watching everything on my phone instead.

I’m planning to attend the same festival again in 2026, but I’m honestly not sure if I’ll be staying here next time. It was a bit frustrating to pay the full weekend rate without having the full amenities that were listed when I booked. That said, the staff were fantastic — friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the area, even giving me great sightseeing recommendations

I would'nt let a pig stay there!! Human excrement on floor in bathroom. Hallways disgustingly filthy. Floors in rooms were filthy! They had not seen a broom, mop or vacuum in weeks. The bed looked okay until I opened the covers to find BED BUGS!! YIKES!! Hair & mold in bathroom sink. I took pictures of all of this. The pictures of the property did not match what we saw in the interior. We went to the front desk to address to these issues and were told that Manager Eddie was off until Monday. I called Manager Eddie on Monday and was told he was not in today and was promply hung up on. This hotel puts a stain on all other Comfort Inns. The owner needs to nake sone drastic changes soon. I DEMAND A FULL REFUND!! I tried to upload some pictures, but this site seems to want to hide these problems

Very very very very Old building with minimal maintenance. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. It takes several hours to get the smell out when you go #2. Not returning to this place. Asked PM Receptionist for touristic places and directions at check in, but told us she is not from the area. AM receptionist was able to help. Gave us printed instructions to touristic places. Why couldn't PM receptionist do that? Instead, she was busy shoving food down when checking us in. We asked the same Qs. Bfast is just ok. Thank you AM receptionist.

I read the reviews on this hotel and was terrified to stay at first - but after a quick prayer because I was scared, my family of 8 checked in and .. i can’t lie - we had an awesome stay. With it being a two star hotel, we came with very low expectations - but we were met with the unexpected. The beds were clean, the towels were as well. We did not see one roach or bug that people were complaining about. If it makes a difference, we stayed on the fifth floor. I actually love the room interior and the rooms were actually clean. It was actually cleaner than 4 start hotels i’ve been to. I think management is finally doing soemthing about the complaints.

The only things that could’ve been better are the breakfast options, elevator, and interior hallway design. One waffle maker is not the ideal option lol. Additionally, the elevator closest to the entry was not working which means we had to use the one at the back. The interior was .. not the best. I think we preferred using the stairs at one point for our safety. The hallways could do with some usages. For example, the carpet. Changing that would be a huge upgrade for the hotel - why not make it like the ones inside the rooms? Also, sometimes the key cards won’t work so perhaps an update on the key system would be huge.

We did not witness “crazy” people - if anything, it was quite empty. It was quite ideal for our visit to one of the resorts nearby. The breakfast ladies were also really kind and their smiles are infectious

Upon checking in the air conditioning in my room did not work, so I went to pick up the phone to call the front desk and I noticed a sticky substance on the receiver of the phone. I went to the front desk and they immediately moved my room. However when I came back in that night my keycard did not work and I had to return to the main desk again, they reconfigured the card but it still didn’t work.

When we checked in the girl behind the desk was texting and it legit took her 30 seconds to even look up that we walked in. I wouldn’t complain if that was the only issue . I know the hotel is under construction but she gave us the furthest room from the elevator and I had a noticeable hurt leg but whatever. But after we went to get food our keys stopped working so I called the front desk to see if they could help us in our room the girl said no I can’t leave the front desk I’m the only employee down at the front desk. So I said fine I will hobble down and she wasn’t even at the desk it was guy. So she straight up lied to not help. Not a good way to start our vacation. The breakfast was decent .. but the lady putting all the food out seemed annoyed we were getting food. I just felt like we were unconvincing every one, the next day my bf didn’t feel good I asked if we could extend the check out the lady said no even before I could ask the question we wanted to check out at 12 … she said she had too many people coming that day… well how about you take care of the guests that are here now not your future guests.

The clerk who checked me in was very nice and efficient. We left for groceries and returned an hour later to go to room. Elevator was down so took the stairs. Stairway and hall floors were filthy. The bathroom in our room had used towels hanging and the toilet was pulled out from the wall (don’t know why) Room not very clean. We felt unsafe and uncomfortable and did not stay. Was only in room about 10 minutes. Checked out. I did contact manager who refunded my money, for which I was thankful.

It was an average hotel experience. Staff did their job but weren't kind or courteous. The pool was a nice addition, but also added water damage and a strong mildew smell throughout. No towels or wash cloths, we were given pool towels that were lieratlly falling apart at the seams. The bed was comfortable, but the linens could have been better cleaned. Hair on the outer blanket and it had a slight tan hue, either the linen is very old or their washers are not up to par and stained them. Dust and hair on the floor, very obvious that they skipped a sweep/mop. housekeeping seemed like a rush job overall, confirmed by them attempting to enter our room 5 minutes after check out. appliances were the best feature, minus the coffee maker and the fridge which again, skipped over to conserve time. location is okay, though the construction on 940 and the PA turnpike made travelling within the area a hassle. The surrounding food options were okay. The restaurant/bar attached seemed nice but pricey. any other decent restaurants are 15 minutes away in downtown White Haven. Overall, the stay was satisfactory, bring your own cleaning supplies, towels and washcloths, which I feel most hotel guests do nowadays, and the stay will be to your liking and price range of you are willing to explore the area for activities and food!

unexpected nightmare

so, i wish i had known how terrible this rooom was before we reserved it. im stil getting creeps just thinking about it! first thing i noticed was the chair, upholstered in dark brown filthy with stains and white crud and greasy matted armrests. I wouldn't allow my dog in it! the floor was swept and I couldnt tell if it was clean. the bed was made with fresh sheets and comfortible. the wall next to my side of the bed had drips running down it. I shudder to think what it was! same by the waste basket, brown drips on the wall and container, chew, spittle, food, drink? then we get to the bathroom...this was the most sickening room the handles to the faucets, toilet and shower handles were grimey and filthy with visible crud.. the soap bottle had dirty drips all over it and brown crust on the pump. the quick fixes on the grout everywhere in the bathroom were dirty and done without care. amazingly someone thought-thread bare towels were okay. our bathmat had a salad plate sized hole in it. not a tear but a place where the weave was missing. quite a defective towel. it was not effective and should not have been in service but rather trashed

1 night ok, but wouldn't stay there for a week

The bathroom has mold in the shower and on the sink counter, exhaust fan didn't work & was dirty, one light was out and the light cover needed to be cleaned. That was just the bathroom! The carpet in the hallway(s) needs to be cleaned and/or repaired. Hallway molding was falling off and the lobby elevator was not working. The freeze in mini fridge needed to be defrosted you can't open the door. The only nice thing is flooring in the room was newer and the beds were fine. Lobby was nice.

Place is rundown, furniture dinged and dented. Peeling carpet trim in hallway. Sheets and towels were clean, bed comfortable. Breakfast adequate but somewhat unappealing. Cheap room rates. Easy access to Penn Turnpike

Would not Recommend, not worth the price.

The property is a 1.0 star at best, and should be the same with ratings.

The staff were friendly and helpful, but could not overcome the ill-repair of the facility.

Pros-

1. Breakfast was ok, but one of the highlights of the stay.

Cons -

1. Garbage overflowing in outside receptacle.
2. Elevator out of order
3. Stairways dirty
4. Bathtub drain rusty
5. Bathtub calking needed replaced and had mold in most of it. (None of the family members were willing to take a shower).
6. Bathroom very small, toilet a child size to accommodate the size of the room, an turned in an odd angle.
7. The morning we left, the cold water went out and rooms were getting flooded.

Good food at Mexican restaurant next door. Lobby was nice, breakfast other than waffles was cold (bacon, eggs). Guest room was clean. Bathroom light out, outlet didnt work, bathroom fan didnt seem to work. A landscaper hasnt touched this property in a couple years. Weeds very high, discarded cig butts everywhere, empty beer cans dumped off railing by sidewalk, elevator was broken, shattered glass in the door to 300 series rooms.

Pleasant staff but property was not in good condition nor was it deeply clean. I stayed four nights and a housekeeper wasn’t in my room at all. Some areas were not well cleaned.
