There are a number of great restaurants nearby, which was very convenient. We also received welcome drinks at the rooftop bar, which was a nice touch. However, service at the bar was slow, and my mum eventually had to approach the bartender to ask about our drinks. To be fair, it was a busy day, but management may want to address staffing levels during peak times.The room was a decent size and comfortable overall, although the toilet could have been cleaner.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The food is pretty good. Get there early for better selection. Same day laundry service is a plus. Oh and if you need coffee outside next door is Gas n Grounds. Great service, good cup of coffee. I would stay here again.

I stayed here a few years back when they were still finishing the building. The facilities were in all good working order. Now, not to much. We were visiting for my sister's 50th. We booked 6 rooms between us and ALL rooms had no towels in them!!! Considering we checked in around 4pm, you'd think housekeeping would have the time to prepare the towels, but no! We had a birthday party to host at 6pm so we went to freshen up/shower. Had to stand wet post showering as it took about 30 minutes to bring in the towel.
After the birthday party, past midnight, couldn't get any sleep as one of the lights switch was broken so couldn't turn it off. For its price point (around 40 gbp), not worth it really. I imagine you can get better hotels to stay in. Would not stay again.

The hotel is new built and convenient to walk around near by restaurants. Although they do not have their own parking garage and have to park in a gas station property which probably they have rented. Overall is a nice hitel. Also i was disappointed that thier iwn restaurants was closed on our checked in dates.

I’ve traveled to CDO 3 times, all three times I’ve stayed at New Dawn. All three times perfect service and hospitality. I would recommend this hotel to any traveler.

Property was nice in an area that is older but seemed very nice two or three schools in the the saturday so a lot of traffic in the morning in the afternoon. Yeah was amazingly helpful no matter what came up in our four days there was always somebody willing to take care of it immediately

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and had a very unpleasant experience. There was no bellman to assist with luggage, and on my first night, I found a mouse in the room. The walls and floors, especially in the bathroom, were dirty. The water had a rust-like smell, and there was a sewer-like odor in the room, which made it very uncomfortable. I had to request air freshener to try and mask the smell. Overall, it was an uncomfortable stay, and I would not return or recommend this hotel to others.

I typically stay at this hotel but in their premier rooms which I like but this standard room was a bit of a disappointment. Lighting was dark in the room and the bed it self was half decent when it came to comfort. The staff also was not as helpful on this trip (even thought they usually are) cause it took them a long time to even come and replace the dusty bed sheets. My food also took longer than usual to arrive, and when it did, it was luke warm...
I have no problem staying there again but only their premier room. Still worth a visit if you're on a budget.

My room in1701 is supposed to be an executive room but the bathroom is none of that. Shower is rusty and the shower floor is also dirty the whole bathroom area is not good for being an executive room. You can hear the loud noise from your next room, noise from the traffic.the management could have mitigate the noise by sound proofing the window.

The roof top restaurant was very nice. The location was perfect, I would get up and jog in the streets in the morning. The building is old and worn a bit. The original room that I recieved had dirty sheets. But I was able to get a clean room and bed. The television does not have any channels. But the location and views make up for it. Everyone was great, except the security guard for the front door who was grumpy. Must of been having a bad day.

Wardrobe door jammed so could not access deposit safe . Reception changed the room and new room had no wardrobe doors so at least you could access safe . Towel rail in shower very rusty . Ran out of toilet roll no spare roll. Second day room cleaned again no drink sachets just the kettle and 2 water bottles . However we bought our own .
