This hotel was right on the beach front and close to town, it was immaculate and clean. The attention to detail in the room was amazing and made it very comfortable for us. We booked a junior suite and looked forward to getting back to it and our very large bed for a relax. The shower was great too. It was quiet in the morning and during the night which makes a change to other hotels where we have been woken up by cleaning staff and noisy neighbours. We was only B&B but enjoyed the breakfast, coffe and juices and their was something for everyone. The staff are very friendly and happy all the time. We would reccommend and stay here again. We would probably book the Don Pedro in the same complex that is tailored to be adults only which would suot us better.

Fab hotel and stay, from location, vibe, food , enetrtainment to amenities , modern & clean asthetics . Very close to beach, airport and transport to Malaga. Great choice of adult entertainment. Staff was extra friendly and overall experience was brilliant as place is well managed . Our stay was birthday surprise and all needs described during booking process was catered for. Complimentary aknowledgment of person birthday and bottle of bubbly made it extra special during our stay , showing the customers needs are being met. I will give the Pablo 10 out of 10 with big thank you to all staff that made our stay special. I would consider coming back in summer to try outdoor swiming pools. Aditionaly hotel entry to complex is being guarded by security person and locked gate for extra security. I miss the place already. The Mirabel on reception was very kind , and housekeepers were lovely too. Night time entertainment Flamenco night and Estrella was brilliant. Overall very happy customer. One thing I would improve is indoor pool area , however that is located in don Pedro area of complex, and I guess it is on the cards for the future. Thank you for making our stay so special. Appreciated.

Large modern hotel in the beach with multiple pools, spa, gym, games and free nightly entertainment. The rooms are modern and spotless. The bed comfortable. Buffet meal plan is available at a reasonable price. The area is touristy and outside restaurants are pricy and not great. So, eat at the hotel unless you are touring the area. It's a fourth minute drive or 30-minute train to Malaga center.

Well, first, the room: every hotel I have visited has AC and heating. Unfortunately, this brand doesn't have those services. We have to leave the balcony door open all day to keep the air cool. Also, my neighbor on the side of our room smokes a lot. We have to choose: leave the door open and smell the cigarette smoke all day, or close the door and suffer the room heat. I have requested assistance from the hotel, but they don't have any way to help.
Regarding the second point, the room service isn't good; the food is always the same. The breakfast menu is two plates only and never changes. Dinner is the same, only one menu plate, disgusting, all amenities need an update
On the other hand, the staff are very professional.

The food was ok. It Is a very big hotel with many activities. I liked the decoration very much.
And also I love the fact that all the swimming pools have the anti-vortex drain covers, which means they are very safe.
I didnt have a lot of amenities as I booked a cheaper room.

The hotel was very accommodating of our change of plans due to my wife’s health and went above and beyond to ensure we didn’t miss our booking. My only feedback would be that all rooms should have some basic amenities such as a kettle with tea and coffee or small complimentary bottles of water. Our room didn’t have anything and was a bit basic for a resort of this calibre.

Pool was good, area is nice, staff are great but room lacked some amenties (kettle, lock on bathroom door and had to request for thing's such as iron and tissues) and air conditioning wouldn't work, would end up giving hot air. I rarely leave negative reviews, but my stay here has been completely overshadowed by a constant, loud mechanical noise (like an engine or AC plant/room) that makes it impossible to relax or sleep properly. ( and I mean the whole night, every 120 seconds you could feel the vibration of whatever that is making the noise. When I raised this with the staff, I was simply told there’s nothing they could do about it.
2 days later after I email them directly they offered me a room, next door literally!
For a hotel that positions itself as a place of rest and comfort, this is unacceptable. Noise this disruptive should be addressed seriously, not brushed aside. Sadly, instead of a restful stay, I’ve left more exhausted than when I arrived

The staff, restaurant and such were really good!

I hope the hotel management do something about that as I am sure I am not the first one
bringing this up and for future guests. I stayed at room 1235

The hotel itself is nice, large family room, clean except:
- ANTS, and we talked with front desk repeatedly
- the all inclusive supper does not include WATER / flat or sparkling so how is this an all inclusive meal.
- no coffee machine in room and breakfast opened late
- they expect you to keep the beach towel during your stay or pay for wash but we had no balcony to dry the towels!
wil not return, the Melia chain would know better but service declining in Caribbean resorts as well

Part of a group of 3 hotels, next to each other Great to be able to wander into all 3 and use the facilities in them all. We stayed half board for one week in early September at Don Pablo.
They have a separate gluten free menu, and were very accommodating of our extra allergies.
One of our party uses a wheelchair. Getting around the hotel wasn’t a problem, but we did have problems accessing some of the swimming pools. The sunbeds around the main pool are on different levels, mostly they are not accessible to wheelchair users, and the area that was accessible had so many sunbeds packed in that getting past them at the end of the ramp was almost impossible. This did spoil the holiday for us, and because of this, I’m not sure if we would return.

The location is a few steps from the beach. The hotel is huge and very popular. We had a full board reservation. The food was good, we really loved the corner with the chef who cooked freshly meat or fish at every meal. The room was ok, with a queen bed. Just we didn't like that we asked for all inclusive option, but the policy said you need to spend at least five nights with them and we only had 3 nights.

Lovely hotel (the pictures on the website doesn’t really do it justice) but the bathrooms in particular are very dated and not user friendly. The terrace has an annoying ledge which is really difficult to see and we all kept on stubbing our toes on it and were worried about our toddler hurting herself.

Little improvements that would make a big difference such as having water in the gym. Kids club was good and entertainers very friendly.

A very nice winter break with just one hiccup

I went on holiday with my 2 teenage daughters to this hotel in a triple room. Out of season it was really quiet until the Valentines night when I didn't get any sleep all night because a group of people had an all night party in the room and on the balcony next door and trashed their room. I did explain at reception the next day and asked for a change of room for the remainder of our stay but when she looked it up she assured me they were checking out - which they did. It was a shame as that day was ruined because I had a banging headache due to sleep deprivation. The dining staff were fabulous as were all the bar staff. Plenty of choice for dinner and breakfast and they accommodated my gluten free diet. Entertainment was great and the female pool lifeguard was very good.

I stayed here twice … at beginning and end of my holiday. Not sure why they tried to charge me almost 100€ more the first time … but I showed my Hotel.com booking and corrected half the amount . May have charged me for changing my room location. Was so tired from long haul flight I let that go by. Did not have a price issue when I returned the second time and had a room in same location and was not charged. Other than this I was happy to spend time at this hotel and service was good all round. I would go back … lots of activities if you chose to participate and entertainment in the evening.

Upon approaching the area of tormelinos we felt like it was a 1970s condominium massacre of beautiful land. It just wasn't what we expected. Upon entering the hotel complex it was reminiscent of a huge cruise ship, with food, flamenco, exercise classes, many pools and a lot going on. This would be great for families as there was a big game room at the hotel and a putt-putt next door. There were plenty of lawn chairs and shaded area and area restaurants.
The beach was wide and the sea was calm. Our partial Sea view was accurate but littered with high-rise condos. The room was spacious, fully amenetized and the service was very good.

We checked in quickly and easily on Monday 27th June 2022 and had booked a twin sea view room. The room was lovely and had the most loveliest views. We did have just one bed, albeit a huge double bed which was nice as it was supposed to be two separate beds but as it was huge, it was fine. It would have been nice, as the air conditioning gets too cold, have access to a duvet as one light sheet is not enough.
We had booked B&B and breakfast was lovely, so much choice and no queuing at all. It was a shame to see other holiday makers piling up their plates with everything and anything to then just leave the food half eaten - such a waste, hopefully the hotel gives the left over food away to the homeless.
The pools were lovely, but anytime after 8am do not expect to get a sun lounger, they are all taken with people no where to be seen but their towels on the loungers - such a shame for everyone else.
The outside pool bar is great, super quick and large selection of drinks.
Would I stay at this hotel again - yes I would!

Likes: Convenient, close to the airport, walkable to beach and restaurants, nice view, decent sized room, kids water play in adjacent Sol Torremolinos hotel, breakfast was good

Dislikes: Some rude/miserable staff (although some lovely), difficult to find a sunbed, fiddly pool towel policy, not the cleanest, walkable to beach but the hotel doesn't have their own beach area or access, pools were a bit too cold when in the shade in the afternoons.

The hotel location is excellent right next to the beach. Its a large complex with great facilities.

Only negatives were no tea/coffee facilities in the room as you had to pay extra for and no safe again which you had to pay extra for.

A chilling Costa del Sol break

Everything about our stay at Sol Don Pablo was wonderful. The 15 minute taxi ride from the airport was seamless and cost €20. Check-in was efficient and the building layout itself was beautiful overlooking Playa Macarena. It's clean, modern and offers great facilities and entertainment. As we went on a bed and breakfast only basis I can't comment on the lunch or dinner buffet but I can say that the breafast buffet offered loads of choice and was always less busy around 9.30. Staff were friendly and the customer service was great. I was particularly grateful to Paco for printing out our passenger locator forms the day before we were due to return home.We look forward to returning soon. Thanks.

Great stay 2 double rooms for our family (2 adults and 2 children 14&16). Clean hotel and right on the beach. We had breakfast included and the buffet was very good. Good pools and only draw back was that the indoor pools (spa) are only seasonally open, so do not expect the number of pools as advertised. Friendly staff and no concerns to recommend this to any families.

Comfortable clean hotel beautiful pool area friendly staff. Anything you can imagine for breakfast with great service . Can’t recommend enough for a winter break.
