Very nice hotel close to everything. Quiet surroundings, although it’s a very quiet town. Good room, bed and shower. Expensive but seems to be the norm in Uruguay. Respectful staff and breakfast is fine.

Good for a few nights in Mercedes

Was in Mercedes for 1 night. The hotel was good for a shorter stay. Nice staff, need to fix up the hotel a bit even though it seemed to be quite new.

Nice, confortable, excelent location, nice open pool, good gym and playroom.

However, the rate is quite expensive for the services you get. I read many reviews complaining about breakfast, i recomend go to get breakfast in the early hours and it would be really nice , i went at 7.15 and it was great.
The parking spot is quite tiny, if you have a big car it is possibly you found it a little unconfortable to park, and also take in account there are a few spots. Its also far to take in account that it is safe to let the car in the square in front of the hotel, so it is not a big deal.

City centre convenience, little choice elsewhere.

Despite a re-do this is still a very tired very basic hotel. Mould, brown water, thin windows, weak pillows give it a 2 star at best. There is not much else in this town...but they could do so much better, not a holiday place.

Great hotel in the city center

Very nice hotel in the best location, in the middle of Mercedes on the town square. The room was brand new, comfortable, and very clean. Breakfast was good and wifi was free and fast. The only little problem was that the elevator was not functioning at the time of check-in. This was one of the best hotels we stayed at during our trip.

Es un lindo hotel al que le falta mantenimiento adecuado. El ascensor hace unos ruidos horribles que cualquiera diría: está cosa de un momento a otro se cae.
Luego, la limpieza, sobre todo del baño, deja mucho que desear. La fachada del hotel reclama una urgente mano de pintura.
Sería más cómodo con colchones más duros.

Hotel nel centro della città, di fronte alla piazza. L'hotel è un pò datato, ma ha tutto, è pulito e la colazione è buona e completa.
Ha un parcheggio interno che abbiamo apprezzato molto.

Bueno, pero no informan correctamente.

La calidad del servicio es buena en lo que respecta a la habitación y el desayuno. El Check in fue ágil. El Check out fue rápido pero recién ahí me notifique que no me facturarían el servicio por haber usado este medio para la reserva, a pesar de haber hecho la consulta al efectuarla. De haber sabido que no me emitirían factura, hubiera cancelado la reserva inmediatamente y la hubiera hecho por otra aplicación con la que si me emiten factura cuando así lo solicito. Era un viaje por trabajo y debo rendir mis gastos con facturas validas. Lamentable.

Maybe not Grand hotel anymore

This hotel is past its heyday. I would say the pool and gym are its best features. The rooms need renos. The bathrooms seem to have been renovated. We had a mini suite with a good bed and a so so sofa. Too expensive for the quality. Avoid downstairs restaurant: good thing breakfast is not there.

para el nivel general de la zona está bien. pero...habitación muy chica, heladerita a llenar por el propio huesped....desayuno algo escueto ....no nos convenció...pero parece que aún así es lo mejorcito que hay. la atención excelente!!

Gostamos muito da estadia. Lugar bem central e funcionários atenciosos. Inclusive eles nos trocaram de quarto dando rápida solução a um problema no colchão. Só não gostamos que Uruguai e Brasil foram desclassificados na Copa no mesmo dia, enquanto estávamos lá, mas isso não teve nada que ver com eles.

Una muy buena opción en Mercedes

Ya hemos ido varias veces, siempre en enero (Festival de Jazz a la Calle) y la calidad se mantiene. El hotel tiene todas las habitaciones con mobiliario básico, pero nuevo y funcional. La atención del personal es excelente. Diseño simple e higiene en todas sus instalaciones son dos cualidades a destacar. El servicio de desayuno buffet del hotel (antes tercerizado con un restaurante) ahora dispone de un lugar amplio, cómodo, iluminado, limpio, aunque todavía puede mejorar la cantidad y calidad de los alimentos ofrecidos en dicho servicio.

Excelente ubicacion gran calidad en la atencion

Es de destacar aparte de la estructura edilicia del hotel el buen trato de los empleados que supieron orientarme y aconsejarme sobre aspectos turísticos de la localidad. Resumiendo muy buen hotel limpieza ubicación tranquilidad.

Parada para el viajero sin urgencias.

Hotel de ubicación conveniente para una parada de descanso entre Punta del Este u otro lugar de la costa uruguaya y las principales ciudades de Argentina. Hace más tolerable el paso de la aduana en días de mucho tránsito.

Mala relación calidad-precio

La ciudad tiene varios atractivos: el Museo Mauá, la Costanera, la Catedral, las casas de Matosas, la casa donde habitó Garibaldi, el teatro y la ex calera son algunos. El hotel, aunque aceptable, no se condice con las 4 estrellas que pretende: mi habitación era extremadamente pequeña, con poco espacio para guardar ropa y con demasiada luz por la mañana. Los puntos a favor del hotel son la amabilidad del personal y su ubicación estratégica. Mala relación calidad-precio.

Está muy bien ubicado frente a la plaza principal,La Catedral q es bellísima y en la esquina izquierda comienza la peatonal.pegado al hotel se encuentra un restaurante q se puede ingresar x la calle o el hotel y la comida es excelente, variada, muy buen precio.
