Room was big but quite dated. Carpet had holes that were patched by putting cut out squares. It’s a decent stay but not 5 star hotel.
milad
The staff very friendly and helpful, the breakfast only for chinses, no continental breakfast. location is good for attractions. but in general is good hotel to stay and good price. thank you
David
My room is big with 1/3 of space is for the bathroom. The lighting condition is really poor in the bathroom. My wife needs to make sure but she can barely see anything. The mirror area has two lights each about 6 cm, each with 3 LEDs so it’s really dark there.
The gym is pathetic with a few pieces of old equipments.
No smoking is not enforced so people smoke right in front of the no smoking sign by the elevators.
Breakfast has the same boring stuffs

Great hotel with very friendly and welcoming staff. We stayed in the family room which was spacious, clean and comfortable for our family. The hotel was also a good base to visit all the main tourist attractions around Zhangjiajie. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.
CHIA-CHI
People so nice and accept the different opinions
Cinder
Great location for tourists. Plenty of amenities and attractions close by. Our only complaint is that this was supposed to have been a smokeless facility but cigarette smoke was very strong in the hallways and lobby. Our room smelled fine though.
MINOO
Location is fantastic and the staff were very helpful.
Edy
Breakfast was good.
Roberto
Great location and friendly staff
Lori
Good cleaning staff
Ran out of food everyday at buffet
Poor help with getting a early morning taxi almost missed our train
Front desk attendant and security could not get us a taxi so a stranger helped us 😡

The air con temperature was set at 20C but it became 30C at night. The room was like a sauna even when window was opened to let fresh air in. We have sleless nights.
Jamie
Friendly staff, spacious and clean room. Very close to Tianmen Mountain Cable Car
Mark
The hotel is in a great location. Easy access to the airport and train station. It is a five minute walk to the Tianmen Mountain ticket office and cableway. The hotel was very nice, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful. I will stay here again when I return to Zhangjiajie.
Waldemar
Brekfest for 5*, fresh and good.
Bee-Theng
We, three adults stayed at a family suite. The room is huge. It has two separate toilets and two wash basin. Layout style of the room is not in trend but it managed to give a cosy stay. Location is a plus. Everything is within reachable distance.

Very convenient location. English speaking was via hand held translator devices. Dinner options were available but poor service and quality possibly due to lack of understanding menu and lack of communication in English

Our stay here was great! The location was perfect for food, tourism, and getting to the airport/train station. The staff and their hospitality were incredible. Would recommend!

Great location! Right next to Tianmen Mountain. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Highly recommend!
David
Helpful, pleasant staff and a great location
I stayed for two nights on a solo trip through China and received truly excellent service from Zhu Shuangqin and the team - they truly went above and beyond to help me arrange a trip to a neighbouring town.
The hotel was very nice and very well located too. I would recommend staying here if taking a trip to Zhangjiajie.

Good but old
It is a five star hotel but must have gained its reputation decades ago. One can clearly see its glorious days. Very convenient location for taking the cablecar to Tianmen Mountain but facilities are a bit out of fasion and need a renovation
Johnnatan
Nice hotel ! Good location … the only bad thing when arrived at airport make a call for the shuttle indications none speak English . We got a DiDi
William
Zhangjiajie Huatin hotel stay.
Shower drain was a little slow. Room was overall clean and well maintained. Room key lock mechanism failed on 2nd day of 3 night stay. But the problem was fixed fairly quickly. The location was good. We were pleased overall.
Francisco

Needs a makeover
Outdated hotel everything needs an upgrade and make over. I was charged 50 Chinese dollars because I left a key in the room. The restaurant was decent but pricey for the food we were served. The one nice thing about the hotel was that it was close to the Tianmen mountain ticket agency.

Main problem is the staff cant speak English

There was a doorman named Rock who was exceptionally helpful in giving directions and giving taxis instructions.

Staff was nice. They provided us with a fruit platter as a welcoming gift. We were there for Christmas and they provided us with small dessert and gift for Christmas.

The staff were very accommodating as I had come to Zhangjiajie on a research project and I wasn't sure how to find the village I needed to. Broad Hu, in particular, helped by organising a guide at short notice and changing my travel plans made by a third party to make the project a success.

Aircond not working for my 5 nights stay due to Aircond maintenance? So disappointed and so hardly to sleep and get sick fever sore throat. So bad. Lost of confident about china hotel. Room request more drink water get extra charge so bad it’s so called 4 stars hotel? Please don’t go to this hotel. Don’t recommended.

Good hotel for the price
Great location. Great tourist office attached that was very helpful. Hotel was a little old and just ok for another big hotel.

Easy to get to from the airport. Central to city, close to bus / train stations and cable car for mountain.
The rooms are large and spacious but the chairs and stool in this room needs to be replaced or re-upholstered as they are showing signs of wear.
If this hotel wants to attract more western visitors then the reception staff need to learn basic English.
whenever I tried to communicate the staff member had to call over a colleague who understood a little English.
English speaking staff in China are a big asset in attracting western tourists.

Good location
Arrived late at night, and the lighting was very dim and the hallways very dark, we did not think it was a 5 star hotel, it looked uninviting, however with the light of day we did see that it had potential. \"No smoking\" signs were ignored. English was not spoken and communication was difficult. Room was big, clean enough but did find something left by the last occupants. Close to shops and very close to the cable cars up to Tianman Mountain. Area comes alive in the evening with activities across the road at the square.

We were upgraded to a doremon suite when the hotel saw that we had kids. Tina at the front desk was absolutely amazing. She went out of her way during our stay and to make sure that we got to the airport on time. Everyone should have someone like her on their team. The hotel does not have 24 hours room service. And the city closes early. But one of the bell boys personally took my husband to the local KFC to get some food. The customer service, despite the language barrier is the most homeliest that I have ever experienced.
The hotel is old. Room was large and the view is fantastic. They have everything there for you - but it’s not the most luxurious in terms of finishings.
It’s the best hotel in downtown and 5 minutes walk away from the cable car and the downtown street of restaurants.
