Clean and comfortable. Location is perfect. Attached to a restaurant which automatically gives you 10% discount for the hotel guests (you have to show them your key before ordering).
We had a very pleasant stay; rooms designed w user in mind - plenty of surfaces in the bedroom area (unlike some other hotels we have been to prior to coming here, so we really appreciated that).
Breakfast was abundant with many options. We’d stay here again!

The views were spectacular, the breakfast was great, the staff were excellent and the rooms were quiet. On the downside, the wifi was poor, as was the parking, but we were warned about the parking prior to booking and the ocean front balcony was worth the parking inconvenience.

From the first greeting, the staff was welcoming, helpful, and kind. Then, I saw that the room was beautiful. I enjoyed peace and quiet, comfort, and a clean space. Breakfast buffet was lovely. The location of the hotel was ideal - lots to walk to, including shopping, food, and all the local things/sights. Near to the sea and Bourtzi Castle, I most enjoyed evening walks and admiring the sunset.

Wonderful gem. Had balcony with side view of sea and castle which was perfect. The location is ideal right in old town Nafplio, multiple restaurants right outside the door. Clean hotel, comfortable beds, healthy options in breakfast buffet and you can carry out your plate to the restaurant in front of the hotel and sit on the terrace.
Each staff member was friendly and helpful.
Would definitely stay again in future.

Beautiful view as you walk out. Bathrooms are very small. Ok if you are less than 5'7”. Shower is small and the shower head is ok if you are less than 6' tall. Shower stall is small. Shower leaks all over so don't leave things on the floor outside the shower. The mattress is hard. Plenty of room in the bedroom for luggage and it doesn't feel clostrophobic.
Shower head has calcium buildup causing the water to shoot in all directions. Don't recommend if you have a waist larger than 36\". The breakfast was very good. Lots of options to choose from. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we're able to communicate in English well

A short pleasant stay in nafplio

Excellent one night stay......the hotel is right off the water's edge and only 50 metres from the boat that takes you to the bourzi fortress across the water. The hotel is modern spotlessly clean and staff are very welcoming...they offer a varied breakfast too. The restaurant next door serves excellent food too.

Best Stay in Nafplio, on the sea!

We have been staying at Hotel Agamemnon since 2010 whenever we visit Nafplio, one of our favorite destinations in the Peloponnese and not far from Athens. The hotel is located on the sea, has a nice restaurant bar in front offering 10% discount if staying at the hotel, the breakfast at the hotel is good, the rooms comfortable and the receptionists the kindest!

I paid for an sea view room on hotels.com, which was about 20 euros more each night. When i checked in i got barly a partial view of the sea. Our travel companion who did not pay for sea view got a room with much better view. Hotel personnel were very rude and said it was no guarantee. So don't pay extra for a view! Also the property advertised on their website as beachfront. There is no beach! Definitely false advertising.

The hotel is located on the promenade and therefore you are conveniently positioned in the middle of everything! Our family had 3 rooms - one of them facing the bay with Nafplion's spectacular scenery. The breakfast options were not so great as compared to most hotels in Greece these days, but everything else was so good...it didn't matter. I would definitely stay there again!

The hotel’s position on the water front is exceptional. It’s modern, staff are friendly and helpful. On the second floor, although the hotel is surrounded by cafes etc. with the windows closed there is no noise. Room 203. Parking in this busy city is the only issue. Great stay!!

Very well located, clean, with a great view of the sea. Parking is free in Nafplio, although busy it was relatively easy to find a couple of blocks away. We stayed there 3 nights. Nafplio is amazing and a good base to go to Epidavros, Micenes, Argos and other sites. Lost my wallet and the hotel staff called the police. The next day the police called the hotel to let us know someone had found and it was in the police station. We picked up later that morning with all it’s contents intact.

Night at the theatre

The Agamemnon Hotel is located right on the waterfront of Nafplio, adjacent to an outdoor patio restaurant/bar scene. Despite that I heard no noise in my room and slept comfortably. Staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was fine.
Nafplio proved a good base for an evening at the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus (c. 30 min drive). The town itself is largely pedestrianized and provides a lively evening atmosphere for post-show unwinding.
The trade-off with a central hotel location is a very competitive parking regime. One has to be a little lucky to park close to the Agamemnon. Alternatively, there is a large car park on the other side of the harbour, a 10-15 min walk.

The hotel location is great, we stayed in a superior room with sea view and loved it. The room was modern and comfortable. We did not like that the key needed to be inserted to have power - the only reason being the fridge shuts off while you are away and we kept lunch food in there. Breakfast was also very good! All in all, no complaints and we would stay again.

This hotel is right on the waterfront. Easy to get to and easy to walk around the tourist area. Parking is on the road and a little tight, but that is to be expected in an old town. The town was fabulous. The hotel was really close to a lot of things and we found it easy to drop in and use the bathroom or grab a jacket in the evening or things like that as we were visiting the area.

The hotel staff members were very nice and helpful. The hotel is located across the street from the sea with nice views of the castle island. It is close to restaurants and the old town. We booked two rooms and weren’t thrilled with either bathroom. One had just a shower which our 6’ son barely fit into. The second bathroom had a shower in a bathtub that had about an 18” step out (dangerous). Otherwise, the rooms were functional and fairly clean. Overall, I would recommend the hotel for its location, staff, and great value.

Not easy to find but good modern hotel with excellent room facilities and substantial breakfast. Rooms are spacious with TV and a/c. Bathroom with plenty of soaps, shampoos etc. Reception staff very friendly and good range of food for breakfast. Our room had view of bourtzi and coast opposite Nafplio.
