Room was nice although the toilet seat was very cheap. Staff was very friendly. Food was cafeteria style and very crowded in dining room. Definitely seemed like a family oriented place with lots of children. We actually didn't feel great after the breakfast. Nothing bad.

The place is ok, the buffet of breakfast and dinner is ok. I chose this hotel because it has warm spring pools on-site. However, we did not be able to use the spring pool. There is a perminant post on the wall states that they close the pool at 2pm every other day to change the water. We went there at 1pm so we could have 1 hour in the pool. But we were told the pool was closed at 1pm that day. They seems to close any service at any time they like. This is terrible.

Please avoid this hotel at all costs. The hotel has unsafe living conditions and could be a potential health hazard. We stayed in this hotel last night and we’re all sick now. I suspect that there was a mold issue in our room. The room smelled musty and wet, with wallpaper peeling off and clear moisture in the walls. I don’t even know how expedia can list such a rundown place on their website. Avoid at all costs!!!!

Beautiful hotel to relax

Very nice hotel in front of the ocean. Good size room with large bathroom and balcony.
Breakfast and dinner were included and there was a good variety of food.
Hot spring pool in the spa was included, we loved it. It would have been really a plus if the indoor jacuzzi had hot water.
Overall we recommend, it was a nice relaxing one night stay in a very busy 2 weeks vacation.

We didn’t like the pools that were represented as mineral baths when in fact they were just salt and radon. Radon is not good for health. We didn’t like the run down and sleazy street it was on. Lots of low end restaurants and bars. We left two days early and would like a refund for those.

At breakfast we asked 5 times for an employee to bring a bottle of water. Until we had finished our breakfast, the water did not come.

There was hot water and they usually put a container of ice next to it, if one wanted, into his glass. We asked 5 times to put a container with ice because that day there was not even a container. While we were assured that the ice container would be added, no ice was ever added.

Really nice hotel. Clean rooms and very comfortable beds. Nice bathroom. Food was excellent. Fresh, hot and extremely tasty. Chefs and waiting staff were really great. Bar service very poor. We went to the bar to get all our drinks as we only managed to get the attention of a bar waiter once and even then the drinks didn’t arrive. This hotel calls itself a wellness resort and spa which meant that we weren’t expecting that nearly all of the customers were families with children.

The hotel is decent with excellent breakfast and dinner included (they are really really nice). But the hotel isn’t 5-star as advertised. For one, its shower head was broken and spilled water everywhere; its hair dryer was very very very weak. Service was subpar too. We couldn’t get on the Internet and was told that “there was a system problem that we can’t do nothing about, please keep trying to log in with your name and room no.” We did and after a couple of hours the Wifi was finally working.

Great price/offer for a spa hotel including buffet dinner. The food was great with full variety of fish, meat and vegetables (the last was very important for us). However, you need to bear in mind there are mosquitoes at night since the area is very humid. The spa facilities were not fully opened so we had a bit of a disappointment but the service was very good with friendly staff.

This place is unbelievable! More like a white marble mansion than a hotel. Stunning location, clean, massive rooms. Room price includes breakfast and dinner buffets that were 5 star cuisine PLUS access to the hot mineral pool which is the only one of its kind in Europe. Staff, beds, bathrooms all spectacular. Classy, elegant!
Spa is gorgeous. I stayed for 2 weeks. Next year will stay 1 month...at $111.00 for 2 people including food, entertainment, hydrotherapy, how could you not?!

Excellent meals but bad policy for using sunbeds

We had a 10 night stay - half board in July 2018.
Mitsis hotels always provide excellent meals. We found Mitsis Galini to be another excellent example of this chain of hotels. The food quality and variety both in breakfast and in dinner were superb.
The staff's attitude at the reception should be warmer toward the guests. We argued for the room that they provided at the first day and they managed to change it on the second day. It was important for us to have easy access and we were originally given a room that although it was on the ground floor we had to climb a stair of around 7 steps!
Our room was huge and clean. Mattress was quite soft and all amenities were provided.
We were annoyed that stuff kept pressing us to order whenever we sat at the sunbeds of the pool or the beach. Although pool and beach are free for hotels guests, the fact they they are open to public shouldn't oblige hotel guests to buy sth when they just had breakfast!
All in all our stay in Mitsis Galini was OK but we expected a better value for money.

Decent hotel near beach

This aging resort was a decent one-night stop for our family. The staff was excellent, the food was good, and the kids loved the pool. Our room was spacious and fairly comfortable, but the bathroom needed attention. The toilet ran continuously (maintenance was called but never arrived), and we had to block the drain to stop a sewer smell. These relatively small issues are not what we expected for the high price of the room.

My boyfriend and I had done a 12km hike down Mt Olympus the previous day so booked ourselves in to stay here as we thought we could probably do with a massage to recharge. The hotel is in a perfect location, walking distance to the beach, restaurants and bars. Our room was amazing, quite large with a balcony and a huge bathroom. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great. The best part for us was that we arrived in the early afternoon and were able to book in for a massage later that day for both of us, including a 1 hour hydration treatment and 1 hour massage. it was fantastic again the staff in the spa were great. Highly recommend this hotel.

We had a good experience at the hotel with the staff, but they charged us again for the room because they said it not refundable and we must pay when we checked in. We thought Orbitz had not paid them so we complied. First time we have been \"duped\" by a hotel in years of travelling with Orbitz, or so we think. We will recheck all our charges for hotels on this trip to Greece to be sure.

Booked two rooms / sea view / free internet / 3nights / connecting doors and hoped to be like the photos on Expedia
Upon check in
I got two rooms very old / garden view / no free internet and no connecting doors

I went to front desk and while the employee stuck does not know what to do because I had the reservation printed I been approached by Mr Tologo who was straight that this what he has and the free internet I paid extra for on the Expedia packages is only available in the reception area and its Expedia problem was insulting and rude
I called Expedia and they contact the hotel and they changed the room the third night to a nicer room
The hotel is popular for locals but if u book online they do not give a ..... About u
Also never request two rooms with connecting door with sea view because they do not have it

Another surprise this hotel suppose to be a hot spring water resort hey u r not allowed to use the indoor pool till u buy a spa treatment

Not 5 stars, but a good stay!

For the low price we paid, it was a really good hotel. I feel it might have been a 5 stars a couple of decades ago, but now it should really just be 3.5 stars. The rooms are not updated, and I could not see many amenities. However, the location was good (you could come out of the gate of the hotel and walk on the sea street), the room was clean and comfortable, and parking was convenient and free. I think the nicest thing is that in addition to a free breakfast we also got free dinner (!), which was acceptably good. The dinner was served until 9:30pm, which was also good because we arrived in the evening. Altogether, it was a pleasant stay, although calling it a 5 stars is a bit exaggerated.

A truly enjoyable experience. A large size room with all mod cons, good size bed and quality mattress. Half board food was a wonderful range of breakfast and dinner in abundance in hot and cold dishes, savoury and sweet, vegetarian and not, precooked and there and then on the grill! Wine prices good too. We lounged on the sides of the big outdoor pool, swam in the therapeutic spa water, went for a walk on the seafront -just outside the hotel- and dined in style in the evening. We would love to visit again and have already recommended the place to friends and relatives.

I travelled to Kamena Vourla to attend a cousins christening and this hotel was recommended to me, I'd looked it up and it seemed pretty good though I think I kept my expectations low since I travel a lot and know what is quality and what isn't. I was very pleasantly surprised on my arrival. Everything was clean and spacious and not too busy considering it was high season. My room was clean and cosy, a nice balcony facing the mountains, spacious bathroom, they only negative was that there was no hook for the shower head to sit on so I had to hold it whilst showering. I relaxed by the outdoor thermal pool out the back for a while, I was the only person in it. It was very warm in the pool so you can only stay in it a short while. The main pool is big and well laid out, plenty of loungers around it. Just a walk accross the main road and you're on the shingle beach. It's pleasant enough, the sea though is not warm. Along the seafront there are plenty of shops and bars and restaurants, some look very relaxing with loungers and couches to sit on. Back to the hotel the buffett is big and varied, plenty of choice but don't get there too late as some food runs out. The spa is great, lovely indoor jaccuzi pool and plenty of spa treatments available. All in all a lovely 2 night stay, would definitely stay again if I was to go back to the area.

I suggested they need to consider upgrading their systems to accommodate demand . Response was keep trying to connect.

the pool was great for our baby, very kid friendly, but the beds were hard as rocks and the walls were paper thin so it was hard to sleep through the noise. otherwise staff was friendly. the pictures of the pool on the website though are very deceiving, there are no water slides of any sort, just a pool and wading pool for the kids.

Five stars excellent stay. Thermal pool of Kamena Vourla was my aim and there is one indoor and one outdoor + several normal water pools. The service is very good, the meal is tasty and rather various. Unfortunately l couldn't go to sea even if it's 30m of distance. There is no sand and overall pebble, l think they could have added at least a clean sand to the private beach. Ok, all in all it was fantastic!

Πεντάστερο των οπισθίων..

Μας χρέωσαν διπλά τον φόρο διανυκτέρευσης. Μια μόλις φτάσαμε και μια μόλις πήγαμε να φύγουμε. Κάτι μετά από παράπονα μας τα επέστρεψαν. Επίσης η τουαλέτα δεν ήταν τελείως καθαρή και οι πολυθρόνες στο δωμάτιο είχαν στάμπες βρωμιάς. Επίσης την μέρα της αναχώρησης μπούκαραν μέσα στις 10 το πρωί και δεν ήμασταν καν ντυμένοι. Λίγοι τρόποι δεν βλάπτουν!

Bien le lit mais des voyant lumineux de partout qui empêche de dormir.
