Very nice staff and people, the beach path is great for running and walking and there are many nice restaurants near by. Also a Pelagic marina animal presentation since France Italy and Monaco have protected the marine areas….

Great apartment, but no wifi

Our \"room\", was an apartment in the building beside the hotel. That in itself was good, as the apartment was spacious, had a nice kitchen, the beds were ok, and it had an ocean view. But it is advertised with \"free wifi\", but they don't tell you what it means: that you can go to the hotel lobby to use it. And I did, sitting at 3am on the sidewalk to use the hotel's \"free wifi\".

Check-in was very slow, as we first had to wait for the employee to be available for us, and when she finally had the time to take us, she slowly typed information from all our passports in the computer. Check out was the opposite, there was some employee around who said \"just leave the key on top of the front desk\".

\"Small paeadise\" my foot!!!

very loud area, loud music until midnight played ar beach, noise from passing trains. when asked to have a room change owner/opreator very rude. very young and inexperienced staff. Even restaurant employees did not know the menu. Very difficult to park most parking spots taken by restaurant customers. very noisy air conditioners from surrounding rooms. finally checked out before due time.
will not be their guests even for a free stay.

Overall good but a few small downsides

Travelling over for a wedding I stayed at the Albergo Piccolo Paradiso for 4 days, the hotel is located just next to the beach (woke up to the sound of waves each day) and the room was clean and comfortable, but there were a few downsides with the stay which is why I marked it at an overall 3.
First of all as we arrived the employees at the hotel were all unable to speak any other language than Italian, being located so close to the French border I would have expected at least some basic French. So communicating was very difficult. . .
When arriving in our room we discovered that the safe was locked and after several minutes of sign language and a mixture of English, French and a tiny bit of Italian a handyman came up to have a look. Only problem was that once he left we realised that instead of unlocking it, he locked it to the code of 1234 and we were unable to change it... hardly the most \"safe\" combinations.. So in the end we didn't use it.
For parking there was a note about how the parking was somewhat limited in availability, but what wasn't mentioned was that this was also used for the restaurant located in the same building, so unless you were parking before it opened up for dinner it was impossible to get a space.
So again, overall a good stay in a nice location but a few small downsides.

Near the railway

Everything is nice and prices are good. Great italian breakfast. Cosy restaurant at the hotel. 50 m from the sea. P.s. if you will order cheaper room so you will get view to railway and its noisy when train passes. order more expensive room so you will get sea view and quiet night. Good trip!

Appalling would not recommend

Appalling - tries hard lacks ability comes to mind. On our arrival they could not find our booking and it took forever to clarify that we had a room booked. Area to get to the hotel is busy, run down and dirty. Once on the beachfront its okay but directly behind the hotel wall is the train line. Room was spotlessly clean and bathroom looks new HOWEVER plumbing is disgraceful, toilet flushing noisy and water does not drain in shower therefore you are left standing in dirty shower water and shower cubicle also leaks so there is water all over bathroom floor. You can hear other guests in their rooms and also unfortunately the night we had booked they had a large party of young school children and parents in the restaurant below - the noise was undescribable and then it took until 1am for them to clear and obviously rearrange all the furniture due to all the scrapping sounds we could hear so we didn't get much sleep. The hotel should never have accepted our booking knowing this party was going to happen. Breakfast - well I wouldn't even give it 1 star and will only comment that we should have gone to a cafe. The lady serving breakfast was lovely and that was the only good thing at this so called hotel.

Superb, loved the place and highly recommended

Initial appearance was a little off putting but soon discovered this to be a lovely hotel run by friendly people, restaurant serves superb pizzas, room modern and clean, overlooking the beach. Owner and staff went out of their way to be helpful and we couldn't have felt more welcome. Great alternative to the costly cote d'azure. Highly recommended.

Right opposite beach.

We really enjoyed our stay here even though it was only for one night on the way from France to Lake Como. The young lady on reception was delightful. We ate in their restaurant at night - my husband is still talking about his excellent meal of calamari! Breakfast was very good too. Everything was spotless.

tres déçue et trop cher

Étant une famille de 3 nous avons eu un appartement qui aurait pu être une bonne chose si ce dernier n’était pas aussi vétuste. De plus on nous promet un wifi gratuit ainsi que le parking mais ce dernier est réservé uniquement aux chambres de l’hôtel et non aux appartements, même en proposant de payer en plus alors que des places étaient disponibles. Il a donc fallu se garer sur un parking public plus loin
Très déçue et beaucoup trop cher 165€ pour le service rendu pour seulement une nuit

Comfortabel, maar veel geluidsoverlast

Kamer was prima (enkel wc spoelknop werkte niet zo goed) en comfortabel. Hotel ligt aan het strand en in de ochtend is het er heerlijk rustig. Jammer genoeg hadden wij veel last van de lounge bar die vlak voor het hotel ligt. De ramen dreunden mee van de basgeluiden. Ook werd er ruzie op de gang gemaakt, wat klonk alsof die personen in onze kamer stonden. Rust vind je hier dus niet, maar om door te reizen is het prima om hier te verblijven.

No nos alojamos ,expedia nos confirmo la reserva pero al llegar al hotel no habia la habitacion con vistas al mar ni ninguna otra. Nos alquilaron unestudio sin vistas en edificio contiguo , no en el hotel.

Charmant hôtel de plage. Très bon rapport qualité

Hôtel très bien refait. Le charme de l'ancien mis au goût du jour. Très lumineux, la mer est juste devant.
Le restaurant est très bien aussi.
Et les prix sont très corrects.
Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

The hotel is very noisy we hear the staff talking, handling the material as the stairs cage is making an echo
The bed is not confortable impossible to move without all the bed is bouncing
The aircon engine is so noisy we cannot sleep

Ett hotell att komma tillbaka till

Andra året vi bor på detta hotell. Det ligger perfekt vid stranden. Rummen är rena och personalen hjälpsam och snälla. Skulle dock behöva byta ut sängar (lite hårda) och ac´n (krånglar ibland) Så mysigt att sitta ute på morgonen och äta frukost och lyssna till havets vågor. Ligger nära en restaurang som ibland på helgerna kan upplevas som störande om man har rummet åt havet och har man rum åt baksidan kan man uppleva tåget som störande, inget som vi tyckte störde vår semester (halva familjen hade öronproppar den andra sov utmärkt ändå :) Vi kommer definitivt åka tillbaka igen nästa år.

Bra hotell, fantastisk restaurang

Bra hotell precis vid stranden. Det kryllade inte av restauranger på gatan där hotellen ligger, men en kort promenad in till stan räcker för att få ett bra utbud. Restaurangen på hotellet var dock fantastisk, både matmässigt och prismässigt. Rummen var inget särskilt, men absolut inget fel på. Helt ok sängar och fräscht badrum. Lite små problem att göra sig förstådd på engelska, men det brukar lösa sig. Rekommenderas.

Leuk hotel direct aan het strand

Ligging van het hotel is uitstekend. Van het personeel spreken er maar 2 Engels. De douche is erg klein en de toiletspoeling functioneerd matig.
In het hoogseizoen worden er regelmatig feesten op het strand gegeven. Dit zorgt voor heel veel geluidsoverlast. Wij konden dan nauwelijks slapen.

Consigliatissimo

Monolocale dislocato a lato della struttura con accesso indipendente dall'hotel. Vista mare! Camera molto pulita e profumata con tutti i confort a disposizione! A due passi dal mare in zona tranquilla. Il ristorante dell'hotel offre piatti di pesce e pizze a prezzi convenienti e soprattutto ottimi!

Petit hôtel très bien situé face à la mer.

Ce petit hôtel moderne offre une excellente qualité de services à des coûts très abordables, autant pour le logement que pour le service de restauration.
La petite équipe du personnel est dynamique et disponible dans une ambiance chaleureuse et accueillante.
Pour un court séjour de deux nuitées, nous n'avions fait aucune demande spéciale pour l'emplacement de la chambre mais, en constatant à notre arrivée qu'il y avait des chambres avec vue sur la mer, nous en avons fait la demande et notre souhait a été reçu sans problème avec grande courtoisie.
Nous n'hésiterions pas a y retourner lors d'un prochain voyage.
Un grand merci à toute l'équipe !

Hotellet var bra, personalet veldig dårlig til å kommunisere. Ledelse og personal holdt dårlig nivå, utsjekkingen var en katastrofe og fikk regning på noe som var ødelagt på rommet. Som var ødelagt når vi ankomm.
