Again, we’ve been to this hotel several times, but each time the sewer gas odor in the rooms is more and more pronounced this time the floor ceiling windows needed to be opened for half the day as when you close them the room was almost inhabitable. The food at their main hotel restaurant is also overpriced and not as impressive as they believe it to be. The pool is nice but other guests monopolized the hotel hot tub so you’re only able to get in there when they clear out. They also have owls that live on the roof and make noise outside the window every second literally from sunset to sundown, so pour as isolated as it is it’s rather loud at night, but something they probably can’t prevent.

The rooms are quirky but very comfortable and spotless. The food is outstanding- ingredients from the property’s farm and orchard, exquisite presentation and service. We enjoyed the tours of the winemaking facility and of the farm. Outstanding experience!

Room was unique and had the most beautiful view of any hotel I’ve ever been in. And it was clean and comfortable too. Amenities were amazing. Gym had a peloton, spa had a lot of options, and pool was beautiful and clean. Every aspect of the hotel was carefully chosen and artistic. The activities were great like the chocolate and wine pairing, garden tour, and tour of the vineyard. The staff was great and went above and beyond!!! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were fantastic!! Legitimately the coolest hotel I’ve ever been to and more than worth the price.

If I could rate this place 11/10 I would. Despite the fact the hotel and surrounding grounds are incredible, the staff and experiences are what make this place. We have never been somewhere with such exceptional service. Would highly recommend the trip out of Santiago to anyone visiting Chile

What a way to kick off our 3 week trip in Chile! Amazing place to celebrate our 20th anniversary. Beautiful place to relax, enjoy great meals, drink amazing wine and take in the surroundings. A beautiful stay

The hotel is beautiful both in terms of the building/rooms and the surroundings. The service was very friendly but never intrusive. We had a very peaceful and relaxing few days at Vik Chile. A couple of things to note - the pool is not heated and is therefore seasonal, there isn't a huge range of food options so if you have any dietary restrictions you may need to repeat meals - the food was excellent though.

Simply Amazing!!!
Viña Vik is really on a category of its own...beautiful hotel with wonderful views of the valley; outstanding food and wine with the most friendly service:
The great welcome from Juan and Arturo to Maca, Nico, Fausto at the restaurant, Camila who we got to meet at the end of our stay, Paz who took me on a real fun horse back ride and Lorena who always treated us with a big smile!
Will go back and take friends along to experience this magical place and taste its delicious wine!

Pretensious, poorly managed and overpriced.

We had an awful experience with the noisy and uncomfortable room (30oC and no A/C) and with the restaurant, which has terrible service and bad food (could not eat dinner due to the lack of quality of food offered. Staff is incompetent and stressful.
Ended up leaving one day in advance, despite having pre-paid USD 900 a night. Wines made there are pretensious and definitely not premium.

A gem outside of Santiago

Two and a half hours from Santiago, hotel is located in a great setting. Striking architecture (both hotel and winery) with each room individually decorated. Great food & fantastic wine, lots of things to do if you want to be active (bikes, horses, walks) and many options to relax too (spa, pool). Excellent service and attention to detail, you will be pampered.

padrão, funcionários muito cordiais e restaurante com excelente cardápio. As atividades junto à vinícola dão sentido à visita ao local. Fica devendo na organização e clareza dos horários das atividades oferecidas durante a permanência no hotel. A verdadeira e única frustração fica por conta da inutilidade da piscina ampla e com vista estonteante para o vale, uma vez que não é aquecida.

O quarto era ótimo, excelente vista. Porém com o padrão do hotel, esperaria uma atenção e conforto maior.
1 Pessoa apenas atendendo na piscina e tinhamos que levantar, bicicletas do hotel quebradas sem funcionar, quando decidimos levar nosso chapagne ao quarto, nos mesmo que levamos. Nao havia nenhum dia nenhuma lembrança no quarto - nem que fosse um chocolate. Essas pequenas atenções fazem diferença, principalmente no nivel que o hotel se dispoe a ser.

O Restaurante e vinhos são divinos ! O quarto e a cama são bons com linda vista . O banheiro fica um pouco a desejar . O staff do restaurante é muito bom .
Sempre solícitos e muito gentis . Já a recepção é precária e parece não treinada para este tipo de hotelaria . A vinícola é maravilhosa .Os vinhos incríveis.
A piscina não é aquecida porém estamos na primavera. e isso não comprometeu a experiência .Tentamos um late checkout mas não foi concedido apesar da baixa taxa de ocupação numa quarta-feira .
A internet é horrível ! Isso compromete a experiência num mundo conectadado .

Hotel lindíssimo, quartos amplos e muito bem decorados. Café da manhã simples para o padrão do hotel. Piscina não é aquecida, o que limita bastante o seu uso (mesmo no verão as noites são bastante frias e a água da piscina permanece bastante gelada). Tem apenas uma jacuzzi ao ar livre, que precisa de agendamento para ser utilizada. Jantar muito bom e almoço razoável no local. No geral uma ótima estada, porém muito cara para aquilo que oferece.

Honest opinion from someone who has traveled a lot

My stay was “full experience”, which means that all meals (+wine) were included, and also some activities
The property is absolutely beautiful! The hotel has a bold architectural style and is full of incredible works of art!
All the staff are very well trained, kind and welcoming. The service is one of the highlights!

I stayed in the “Holograph” chalet, the room is amazing, the views incredible! Bed is wonderful, the bed linen and towels are of extraordinary quality, as are the bath products - compatible with the price of the daily rate charged.

The shower was a complete disappointment, absolutely horrible! Taking a shower was almost torture, since I only stayed one night I overlooked it, however, if I had to stay for more days, it would certainly be intolerable. The hair dryer was also terrible, considering the standards that the hotel is supposed to have, it is almost unacceptable, it was worse than those of the Ibis hotel chain.

Breakfast: very good, as expected.
Lunch: nothing special, average food. Below expectations
Dinner: very good! Gastronomic experience consistent with what is expected

Horseback riding: fun, I noticed the special care taken with the animals and the very kind and friendly driver
Winery tour: standard

Look, the hotel is incredible, but I don't think I would stay there again for the price. The exclusivity that it promises is lost in the details, u have to reserve a time for the jacuzzi/sauna, there are not enough lounge chairs at the pool, etc

O hotel eh bom. fiquei em um bangalo fora do hotel. Quarto grande porem nao funcional. A banheira que fica na sacada esta sempre suja e conforme o hotel explicou , se vc usar nao pode tomar banho por duas horas pois nao tem agua quente. A parte dos SPAs deixa muito a desejar. Muito poucas opcoes e a parte mais decepcionante eh a piscina que nao tem aquecimento. Mesmo indo no verao , fica dificil entrar. Tem apenas uma banheira de hidro e ainda tem que ser reservada com duas horas de antecedencia o que nao funciona. precisam melhorar principalmente pelo preco alto e sendo cotados como um dos melhores das Americas.

Incrível nossa estadia, porém o serviço ainda peça, não há serviço de bar/restaurante na piscina, ou seja, você tem uma vista maravilhosa, uma piscina incrível e só consegue consumir lá após as 17h.
Outro ponto é que eles demoram muito pra responder o WhatsApp, ou seja, o único meio de comunicação entre o hóspede e o hotel tem um delay enorme.

Fantástica estadia. Até então, e de longe, a melhor que tive no Chile. Atendimento e serviço impecáveis, raro de se ver. E o lugar é belíssimo! Estrutura, quarto, vista... Alimentação é outra atração a parte, especialmente nos menus de etapas preparados pelo chef. Quem prefere alimentação mais tradicional, recomendo não fechar a experiência completa (+ contemporânea) e pedir diretamente do cardápio. Sobre a experiência completa, eles cobram no check-out a gorjeta (10% do valor de tudo q fazia parte da experiência). Para 2 dias, a gorjeta ficou em 51 mil pesos. O café da manhã também é muito bom, estilo buffet, com certa variedade. Também preparam ovos e crepes. O chá da tarde é simples mas tem sucos gostosos.
Apesar de ter certa diversidade de atividades, como mesa de sinuca, ping pong, xadrez e academia (além de outras pagas), associo o lugar mais a descanso, com quarto sem TV/som. Sobre o quarto, a única crítica é o secador de cabelo, bem simples.
Das atividades ao ar livre, recomendo fazer a trilha até a mesa de piquenique. É uma trilha fácil mas belíssima. A visita à bodega com degustação dos vinhos também é bem interessante.
Enfim, recomendo muito!

Iluminação do quarto e banheiro pode ser melhor. Tomar banho é uma arte. Demora para esquentar a âgua e o molhento é grande, pois nao ha um box, o que tambem faz sofrer o impacto da temperatura mais baixa. O atendimento nas refeições e no check out podem ser melhores.

A estadia foi incrível e muito divertida. Minha única crítica seria com relação ao restaurante Vik Zero, pois no check in deveriam oferecer para fazer uma reserva. Decidimos almoçar lá e não havia mais disponibilidade. A preferência deveria ser em atender aos hóspedes.
