We paid extra to have a family suit in family day weekend to have a special time with our kids. The Room wasnt cleaned and ready by the time we got there, check in was 3pm, room wasnt cleaned and ready until 410pm - front desk wasnt willing to offer anything to compensate for their mistake like a late check out, since we didn't get to use the room til more then an hour after check in time. Then on top of that, the room wasnt fully prepared, we then had to visit the front desk to ask for bedding supplies to make our own beds and have proper pillow coverings. Needless to say, they do not care about their patrons, and we will not be back.

Visit started awesome. We had arrived a little early and asked if room was ready for an early check in. Was very clear that if it wasn’t, that was fine. Assured me it was good and we went to room. Keys were a bit tricky to get in. But room at first pass was ok and neat layout with a “queen” bed up in a loft (one full bathroom and another two piece up in the loft that was very convenient and we were pleasantly surprised to see an additional tv up in the loft). We were there for a sports tournament so we were planning on using the pull out bed and chair for both kids. Had to go to front desk for linens which is fine but second set we got the blanket was filled with holes and fraying (first blanket was great, soft fleece). Our games were really late so when we got back and went to make up the beds….sofa was fine. The chair pull out was…HORRIFIC! Covered in pink/yellow and dark black stains. Our only saving grace was that we had brought an air mattress just in case.
We ended up leaving a day early due to such a horrible sleep on the bed. When we left I advised front desk staff about the pull out and showed her a picture. When I say she didn’t even blink….all I got was a “I will inform management”…at that point I was to tired to argue and suck up the loss of $170 for the night we weren’t staying.
The pool for the kids was great, and the restaurant burgers were HUGE with a really reasonable price point. The rest of the amenities…very lacking. I don’t have enough space for it.

The sink and bath tub did not drain. After the stay the hotel Ramada Trenton sent me a $400 damage fee, additionally they sent me the photos of the revealed pipes filled with sludge and gunk. This establishment clearly does not follow regular maintenance. Claims have been sent to their head office.

The room was old and sheets were dirty. No breakfast included. Gym’s machines were all broken. Pool closed. The front desk let kids run up and down the hallways banging on peoples doors all night long . When you ask for a room change or a discount, the front desk says no. There were six cars in the parking lot so I know they were not full.

The heat was off upon arrival and took 3 hours to get to a proper temperature. The bed was very old and way too soft, with a permanent dent in the middle. I am not at all fussy about mattresses but this one needs replacing asap. We did not sleep very well due to mattress. Room 222.

The room was clean and comfortable , and the staff were very friendly and polite.
The only issue I had was that it was not great having a shower in water up to your ankles. The pull up knob did not completely shut off the water to the tub. I did mention this to the front desk staff on checking out. Other than that, I would definitely feel comfortable staying here again.

The reception was unfriendly. I was given the key to my room and when I went in, there was a man asleep in the bed. I went back to reception and, when I explained what happened , she simply raised an eyebrow as if it was my fault and give me a new key. The TV had 4 channels, one of which was Fox, one was 24 hour golf and the other two looked like traffic and weather and an old movie network. The pool area was freezing and the pool temperature was even colder. The room was cold and, no matter how high I jacked up the temperature. When I checked out the attendant was as unfriendly as the check in, practically non verbal. The only positive thing was coffee and a microwave in the room. The experience was beyond disappointing, it was just awful.

The hotel is run down all over. The sheer curtain in our room had an extremely large hole in it. In fact it was shredded. The bathroom tub is old and rusty. The floor along the tub is filthy with a large clump of encrusted dirt embedded in the corner by the tub and door. The side of the bed where I slept the mattress had a long and good width sunken area that my feet dropped into. The rooms and halls smell and you can see the dirt in the carpets. My daughter’s bathroom had hair on the ceiling above the tub.
We all won’t return. The restaurant was great.

Our disappointment began the moment we entered the room. It was visibly dirty, with hair on the ceiling, pink mold around the tub, and graffiti and rips on the wallpaper. The neglect was further evident in broken amenities: the curtain valance was missing, and the TV remote was broken and unusable.

To add to the frustration, the pool was out of service for our entire stay. This hotel is not worth the savings. I strongly recommend paying a little more to book a hotel in Belleville instead.

This Hotel is not worth the money at all the rooms are dated and old there was mold in the bathroom at the bottom of the door because it was all broken..the wallpaper was coming off the walls. The microwave oven wasn't cleaned!
The TV, fridge, microwave and lamp were all plugged into a powerbar that looked like a fire hazard just waiting to happen!!
The pool was under maintenance but wasn't advised it would be...that was the reason I booked this hotel so that was extremely disappointing! Some people actually demanded a refund when they found out the pool was closed!! All and all this hotel sucked!!
The bed wasn't comfortable!! The heat wasn't correct the thermostat read 75 and it felt like 72!! This Hotel in my opinion is maybe a 1 Star!!!
The only good thing is there's a great restaurant attached!!! No mention of a free breakfast this hotel doesn't offer breakfast or any type of discount..which doesn't surprise me!!
This Hotel charges $200 and it shouldn't be anymore than $50.00!!
I WILL NOT RECOMMEND OR ADVISE ANYONE I KNOW TO EVER STAY HERE!!!

Nice Stay, Dated, Small, by we were Comfortable.

We checked in and the staff were accommodating to ensure we had a ground floor, and made the extra effort to move us closer to the lobby. The room was small, and could only accommodate two double bed (others had a queen). Sadly, the room was designed such that you faced a brick wall. Why would they design a hotel like that. The rooms and hotel are certainly dated, but the staff cleaned the rooms daily. Bathtub is stained and the sink valves are loose. The two luggage carts are non matching and beat up, with one held together by Duct tape. Ready to fall apart. We had to purchase the breakfast, but the food at the attached restaurant was great. Had one breakfast and two dinner. We would have had the breakfast after checking out, but instead of opening at 6 am, they did not open until 7. We left by then. The room has a fridge/freezer and microwave. Our remote for the TV was not working and they replaced. All in all, it was comfortable for our 4 night stay. We would likey come back if we are back in the area.

Just feel when I book online and not directly to the hotel that we are not booked into a more updated room.$120. a night getting pretty expensive. Looking into purchasing an RV. Example fridge unplugged had to plug that into lamp base fridge, no knob to turn it on. Two tissues left in the Kleenex box. Just not has clean in other rooms. I’ve stayed in. I didn’t care too much for being put on the third floor as it made it very hard to get a cart with my luggage to my room. The staff told me that there was nothing he could do about it. Not very accommodating.

The entire building smelled of moldy/feces. Our room smelled horribly, outside our ground floor room was a very slimey garbage area. There was mice droppings on the ottoman and inside window sill. There was no water pressure. We stayed for approximately 5 minutes then checked out. Our room was 126. Never been a hotel room that smelled so bad.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The room was mediocre. The tv is outdated. The room had a lot of rusty items. The lamp, bathtub, sink etc

We stayed here for the pool specifically and it was freezing. The kids didn’t want to swim and that’s what they were most excited for. We did ask if the pool was heated and they said room temperature and they would have someone look into it but nothing was done about it.

Our impression from our stay is that this property may be near the end of its service life. While business seems good for them and their staff seems to be doing their best, it appears management is doing minimal maintenance and have done little to renovate the rooms for many years.

Perhaps there is a renewal project underway or in planning stages but, for now, the facilities and furnishings don't seem merit anything but the lowest rate pricing.

If the location (near Hwy 401) and budget is your priority, then you may find Ramada at Trenton satisfactory.

Stay was horrible. Got there late in the evening, we were put in the basement, the door to my room was filthy! The room smelled of stale cigarette smoke, the beds caved in the middle, the lamp shad had mold on it, the phone didn’t work, the fire alarms went off for half and hour that night with no one from the hotel telling us anything. Swimming pool was closed because of contamination. No water pressure in the showers, hair in shower from previous people who stayed in the room.

Very old TV, had to have mine replaced, picture tube gone. The replacement was glitchy also! Fire Alarm at 1am, had a room with a connecting door. People on the other side tried to enter when they checked in, then woke me during the night, banging/knocking on it, tryibg to get in, AGAIN! Felt very unsafe. Water pressure in shower was very weak. Run down old Hotel. Will not be back. Very disappointed!

Checked in and given room key. When we went to open our room there was already people in their. We had to go back and get new room and keys.
Our room key stopped working after 1 day. Service was horrible. This happened to other families on our team.
We asked to have Sunday taken off as our team did not pass next round of tournament. Other families did same. We were told we didnt let them know within policy limit. It was a 2 hour discrepancy. We would not have been able to know about Sunday until Fridays afternoon game was done.
The hotel carpets are stained and it smelled like dogs and cigarettes. Witnessed other guests ask to change rooms as their room smelled like cigarettes.
The pool was in sub par conditions and closed on one day so we were not able to use if we wanted.
