Was well set up, especially the kitchen, so we were able to cook a nice steak. We were allocated a spa bath, but as I have a mobility problem, I opted for a ‘bird bath’. Lots of room &. plenty of blankets.

Loved my little get away. Beautiful little part of Tassie. Fantastic friendly service. Carolyn lent me her own personal phone charger for the duration of my stay ( forgot mine ). Lots of easy walking tracks around the river. Will definitely be back .

Loved my stay here. It’s a bit dated but clean & I had everything I needed. Great value, lovely staff and it was heaven just to sit under the trees, smell the fresh clean air and relax. Bed was really comfy too! Thank you Carolyn, Dale & Mick.

Set in a very relaxed and tranquil location, cabins are unique and nestled in amongst beautiful trees and ferns. the park is across the road from a small beach and located between smithton and Burnie and very close to Stanley. It has everything you could want from free dvds and cds to a unique fully equipped community kitchen shed with bbq.
The owners were kind and friendly and it was a pleasure to meet them and stay at the crayfish. Very relaxing stay, highly recommended.

Cabin smelt stale on entry not the cleanest. Single bunks only one sheet on bed which was too big for bed looked disgusting could sleep with just doona as not sure how clean it was. Blanket on lounge smelt like smelly shoes.

Was relaxing, comfortable, private and quiet. I love the bush scenery.
If your going to stay, bring your own water as the water from the tap was quite brown and didnt taste very good. But over all loved it and will stay again. And nice to know you can bring your fur babies. Will be bringing mine next time.

Check in was welcoming and helpful. The onsite van with annexe that we stayed in had plenty of beds, a large bathroom and some low doorways. The lighting in the annexe was limited (not helped by one of the light fittings missing a globe).

I think the whole caravan park has a wonderful rustic feel. We have camped in the past in a lovely bushy setting. This time was in a lovely real on-site caravan with annex. Again, in a lovely bushy setting.

Beautiful, peaceful, quiet locaton. Lovely comfy bed. Only complaint is that we couldn't drink the water, and there was no milk for a cuppa. Easily solved though. We bought some bottled water for the kettle and some milk. Lovely place to stay

Loved the location. We only had a one night stay but would have liked a couple more. We stayed in the 3 bed double story. Accommodation is fairly basic for the price paid but because of the location and the feel of the park I will return again. Must have been a large group party going on the night we stayed so difficult for sleeping (still people yapping at 3am).

We stayed in the tree house cabin which was cute and quirky and the kids loved it. The lovely deck with our own BBQ, and the two bathrooms were definitely a bonus. The location is great and the walk to the waterfalls is worth it. Would stay here again.
