Nice room with all needed amenities incl. really nice Lavazza coffee. Great pool (really clean), amazing beach just outside our room (waters of the Bengali Bay...and that water is very warm) and DO eat at the hotels restaurant (Brizo), since they here make some of the best local food we have had on our entire trip in Myanmar (try the Mutton Curry!). And though you may wish for egg and bacon (which is always good), then treat yourself with a local breakfast soup called \"Shew Taung Noodle Soup\". It's just unbelievably good :)
On the beach you can rent an ATV for appr. USD 14 per hour. That is great fun and will take you around easily. It's not part of Eskala hotel, but do try it :)
The small village is only 5 minutes away, and there are plenty of local restaurants, shops and hairdresser (mens haircut: USD 0,90...yep).

Relaxed to the max!

The overnight bus from Yangon arrived to Ngwe Saung at 4:30am. Thankfully our room was ready and the hotel could check us in so early! We were so grateful for this, plus our room was upgraded, which was another amazing bonus. This hotel/resort was absolutely beautiful, clean and in as-new condition. Lovely friendly staff, and honest too because I forgot my phone in the room after checking out and housekeeping returned it to me! Location is on a clean beach but we weren’t allowed to swim because of the strong ocean current. The pool is nice and big though and the grounds are filled with palm-trees so it didn’t matter we couldn’t swim at the beach. The meals at the restaurant are delicious and generously portioned. And good buffet breakfast. Just a short walk into the main town, but not much to see/do there besides souvenir shops and local “grocery stores”. You can also hire bikes at the hotel, not sure how much it costs though.

I’d definitely come here again to relax and unwind, it was a great experience!

Beautiful hotel on the beach

Outstanding hotel on the beach and walkable to town and bus stop. Large room with modern features. friendly staffs who can assist with bus tickets (the only way to get to Ngwe Saung) and arrange for taxi to bus station (if needed-it's about 10-15 minutes walk). Food at hotel is wonderful.

A nice relaxing spot by the ocean

This was a nice place to kick back and relax for a couple days. The breakfast buffet was good, and so was the dinner menu. The infiniti pool was very nice. The beach was gorgeous. It is about a 6-hour drive from Yangon.

Awesome place for relaxation

We enjoyed our stay at Eskala from the first sip of the welcome drink to the last breakfast infront of the stunning pool. The staff is exceptional helpful and friendly. The rooms are big, the beach is nice and clean. Perfect place to relax for several days or weeks.

Nice and Friendly with a few flaws

The physical facility of the lobby, pool and restaurant area - open-air and literally on the beach - were second-to-none. The room was large and well-appointed; however, the rooms were definitely not quiet. Large tour groups arrived and made a lot of noise until late at night. So, while it should have been a quiet, secluded beach getaway, it wasn't. The WiFi, by Myanmar standards, was strong in the main building, but I could not get WiFi in my room (no big deal). Additionally, the staff are very friendly and helpful and have clearly been trained in customer service, but they seemed inexperienced and unsure in several of our interactions (also no big deal).

It was superb! The kids have lot of fun at the beach and a pleasant stay. Especially to the staff in Eskala, they were extremely patient with us when we have many enquiries. Great hospitality! We will definitely recommend friends and families to this hotel. Last but not least, if there are ways to have freshly baked warm breads that will be great!

Das Hotel ist Perfekt man fühlt sich wie im Paradies eingebettet in traumhaften Palmen
einfach genial.
Und die ganzen Leute so nett und zuvorkommend bei Fragen wir sofort Organisiert und geholfen besonders Thida in der Reception hat sich top um uns gekümmert einfach genial .
Und unser Room Boy Shine Htet hat seine Joop perfekt gemacht und sehr freundlich.
Auch die zwei beim Pool waren auch genial hatten alles super sauber und immer Ordentlich.
Es war ein Wunderschöner Urlaub.

Ich hatte ein Gold Delux Zimmer mit Meerblick, die Aussicht war top!
Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war ok, die Klimaanlage schön leise.
Das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen, wer hier nichts leckeres findet dem ist nicht zu helfen.
Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Was mir nicht so zugesagt hat:

Die Schiebetüren zum Balkon ließen sich nur mit Gewalt öffnen.
Der Toilettensitz war entweder lose, abgenutzt oder einfach von schlechter Qualität.
Die Liegen am Strand waren zum Teil in schlechtem Zustand und kurz vor dem auseinanderbrechen, die Auflagen zum Teil aufgeplatzt & insgesamt hätten am Strand mehr Liegen stehen können...wäre ich nicht allein unterwegs gewesen hätte ich an mehreren Tagen keinen Platz gefunden...
Die Küchenleistung hat mir nicht zugesagt...als Beispiel sei das Indian Butter Chicken erwähnt. Ein grob zerschlagenes Huhn dessen Bruchstücke mit Haut und Knochen im Grunde nur mit den Fingern zu essen gewesen wäre...da alles in der dicken Soße lag ein schwieriges, unvorteilhaftes Unterfangen, die ganzen Knochensplitter in der Soße haben mir den Rest gegeben. Wenn es sich um ein günstiges Streetfoodlokal handeln würde...egal, aber bei dem Anspruch und dem Preis inakzeptabel...mein Tip, das Restaurant Holly genau gegenüber...gut, günstig und ne sehr nette Familie!

Ruhiges Hotel am Stadtrand

Schneller CheckIn in der Nacht gegen 3 Uhr, Zimmer in Top Zustand, auch bestellte \"Überraschung\" lag bereit. Tägliche Reinigung am Morgen und am Abend das Bett für die Nacht vorbereitet (Moskitonetz, Bad schnell aufgeräumt). Zimmer wurde anstandslos getauscht nachdem die Klimaanlage geleckt hat und das Zimmer unter Wasser stellte.
Sehr freundliches Personal im ganzen Hotel. Getränke wurden auch bis an den Strand gebracht.
Abendlicher Spaziergang in den Ort in ca. 5 Minuten.
Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen.

The best staff and hotel i Myanmar!

We stayed at Eskala Hotel for 5 nights at the start of our 15 days vacation in Myanmar.

They have the friendliest staff we experienced in whole of Myanmar. The would do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. From the girl at the reception that booked us the taxi from Yangon to the guys that fixed our mosquitonett every evening.

Especially May Mee Ling and Ta (i think his name was. small guy) at the restaurant was excellent and they should be awarded! Even when a group of rude Chinese people was yelling at Ta over the bill, he kept his cool and sorted out the situation with class. We had genuine conversation with these two guys.

The location (5 min to the village), pool (big and clean) and beach bar was superb! They even served vegetable form have their own garden. Have lunch set menu at Brizo, you wont regret it!

Everything was perfect at this nice hotel. I cant praise these people enough!

ホテル設備は、、、、環境は最高でした。

ホテルの設備がミャンマーのホテルレベルで考えても低い。
アメニティグッツも追加してくれないし、値段だけはグローバルでした。
しかし、周辺環境は最高です。近くのラブアイランドまで車で5分！　
ボートはホテル目の前まで迎えに来てくれるので時間の節約になります。
残念なことはホテルのパンフにボートプランが400ドルとなっていましたが、
ボート会社と直接交渉したら20万チャットでした。半額以下です。ぼりすぎですね。
ボールは5本（330ml）で18ドルホテル価格ですね。

PS:ルームサービスで頼んだビーフバーガーのパテが硬くてパサパサしており、今まで食べた中で最悪のものだった。

호텔은 관리가 잘 되어 있었고, 직원들의 태도 또한 우수했습니다. 프라이빗 비치와의 접근성과 수영장도 훌륭했습니다. 매우 만족스러운 경험이었으나, 저녁 뷔페와 아침 뷔페의 메뉴 중 각 한 가지씩이 재료가 상해서인지 쉰 냄새가 나서 아쉬웠습니다. 그리고 와이파이가 느리고 자주 끊겼습니다.

Traumurlaub nach einer drei wöchigen Myanmarreise

Wir haben wunderschöne Tage im Eskala verbracht. Am ersten Abend genossen wir einen super tollen Sonnenuntergang auch die folgenden Tage waren recht schön.
Das Personal ist ausgesprochen zuvorkommend und nett. Sehr gutes Bett und total saubers Zimmer. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sensationell, verschiedene Fruchtsäfte, gutes Brot, super frische Früchte, verschiedene Käsesorten, einfach nicht zu überbieten.
Der Strand fast menschenleer und sehr feiner Sand.
Im Hotel sehr gutes Essen und nur 10 Minuten ins Dorf. Wir würden dieses Hotel sofort wieder buchen, leider eine lange Anreise.

CountDown Partyは要改善

昨年までのpartyはアルコールを含めてincludeだったが、今年からアルコールは別料金になった。
価格は据え置きなので、実質値上げ。
食べ物は多少改善されたが、価格に見合うものではない。
partyのプログラムも代り映えしない。ファイヤーダンスはよかったが、それ以外は見るに値しないし、ダンスタイムだけ延々と続けられても楽しめない。
次回はもう参加したくないです。

Beautiful beach resort

Room was spacious and calm, lovely facility with lot of palm trees, nice pool and great beach view. When we walked around the beach, this was one of the most-well tended resorts we could find. Only deficit: Food in the hotel restaurant was a bit taste less and some waiters hardly spoke any English, which made ordering difficult (however, the staff was very eager).

Tolles Hotel direkt am Strand

Bereits als wir ankamen wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen - der Service war die ganze Zeit sehr zuvorkommend und ohne Beanstandungen. Die Zimmer und die gesamte Anlage waren sehr sauber (die Zimmer wurden jeden Tag saubergemacht). Der Pool war ebenso sehr groß und sauber, man konnte sich immer frische Handtücher nehmen. Das Frühstücksbuffet ließ keine Wünsche offen - das Frühstück konnte man auf der Terrasse mit Meerblick genießen. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht und haben jeden Abend ein sehr leckeres, abwechslungsreiches 4-Gänge-Menü bekommen - der Chefkoch ist hierbei auf individuelle Wünsche eingegangen. Die Halbpension hat sich in jedem Fall gelohnt.
