This is a Japanese style hotel in Taipei. We stayed here for one night before heading to Japan Kyoto. So from hotel experience standpoint, we had a head start. Though there is a shower and tub, it is Japanese style bathroom. Very Clean but different from those in the states. Bed is comfortable. Staff is friendly. Didn’t stay here for their breakfast since there are so many great food we want to eat in Taipei for our one day layover.

The room is leaning on the small size compare to the other similar grade hotel. Room was clean and the cleaning staff were all very polite and professional (4.5) stars.
Breakfast buffet offering was very standard. Not the best. There was one day out of the 5 days that most of the food selections were empty or almost empty. We can only say that they refill the food very slowly and most of the breakfast period towards the last hour were empty. When we asked staff to refill, they were all very grumpy and unhappy. Some staff was also impolite as if it was the customers' fault asking for food where there is still one hour left for breakfast. We try to complain to the manager of the restaurant just to find out that the manager has day off on that day. We end up go to the front desk to ask for the duty manager and also to find out the duty manger is not on duty till noon. (LOL). On that morning, we were all pretty upset. (Breakfast and food) 2.5 stars)

Great service and ambience. Room size was adequate. Love how the hotel supplies large bottles of water for free that can be easily retrievable in the hallway and a 'real' & clean water kettle (not a coffee maker that spits out coffee tasting water!). Bathroom japanese style but a good size with toilet seat outside of bathing area. Cleaning schedule every other day while towels exchanged and garbage cleaned daily. Different lights in the room, including the reading lights came in handy. Comfortable bed and pillows. Only improvement areas: more space for hanging clothes needed; floors could vacuumed better; cleaners should be mindful not to use the same gloves to touch clean linen after changing the garbage can bag. Overall, great service and experience. Strongly recommend hotel!

The hotel was nice and clean, pretty nice overall. They had free bottled water in the halls, which was really nice. The only thing that bothered us was the hard mattress, but we still slept just fine. The breakfast buffet is pricey, but it was a fun cultural experience! The hotel location is very good. It's a block away from the metro station. We took the metro from the airport to the hotel with ease. There are convenience stroes and plenty of dining options. There is a mini night market just a block away from the hotel. The staff was very helpful. They arranged a car service for us when we were ready to go to Keelung for our cruise. There is a self service laundry available. The room was comfortable. I would stay here again, if I ever go back to Taiwan.

We had a long term stay of three weeks there. Everything is good to better for this hotel with the exception that there is no self serve laundry or ice machine. They have service for both, but we would rather have access to these ourselves. Decent food at breakfast, very nice restaurant that converts to a lounge in the evening, and the room was very well laid out and roomy. The TV also had a Netflix option, and the staff were exceptional.

I had arrived earlier in the morning and requested for early check in about 2pm. However the staff said that they would have to charge me if I check in before 3pm. The earliest they will let me enter the room will be 2.45pm. I was really tired after a red eye flight and ended up sleeping on the sofa at the lobby. The staff woke me up at exactly 2.45pm to pass me my room card. I thought there could have been more flexibility and empathy from the hotel staff as I will be checking out earlier for my departure day which I feel I should not be charged for the earlier check in. It’s my first time experiencing such inflexibility from a hotel. This is the only negative feedback I have.

The hotel overcharged a room that accommodated three guests. The room size was not big enough and the facilities were not equipped for three guests. There wasn’t a wardrobe to hang the clothes. It was a terrible experience.

Firstly, the toilet room is quite dark and lacks an air fan. Additionally, it is disconnected from the bathing area which can be a bit odd. Walking distance to exit 1 from Zhongxiaoxinshengzhanyihao station. Two station away from Taipei station where you can take Airport MRT, HighSpeed train and TRA. Staff are friendly and helpful.
