Hotel is on a lovely location. Sunsets here are amazing. The reception is not assessable without a key, and there was no one who understood English at reception that made it difficult. Housekeeping is very friendly and does a wonderful job, and understands English! They did not have enough breakfast out some mornings, but it was not too bad. Only a 25-30 min Bolt ride into Old Split.

Mgr or owner did not speak English (even though adverstised at Eng speaking), only German, and was incredibly rude. The AC in my room was not working and I could not find her (owner) anywhere. I had to call expedia mulitple times to get in touch with her. She ignored me 3x re: AC, instead showing me how to operate it on the one in the 'lobby'. I tried to tell her each time that it wasn't working. She would then disappear again. FINALLY, after expedia spoke to her, she came up to my room to fix the AC. It WAS NOT WORKING - a hidden breaker was switched off - no way for me to figure that out on my own. She didn't apologize or even offer a bottle of water as I was dripping with sweat. She closed the bar/rest early, so I couldn't even purchase anything. I had to walk down the beach to get a cold drink. Room was TINY, which I didn't mind bc it was just me and was for one night (airline rebooked me). Couldn't even open my suitcase in the room. DO NOT STAY HERE! 3 stars, my ass. 0 stars would be more accurate.

Hotel Sunce is a lovely little hotel on the beach strip, about a 20 minute drive from Split center. Some other reviews have noted problems with the AC not working, but as long as the windows are closed, it will function. It's not the coldest ever, and the fan isn't very strong, but after a while the room cools off. Reviews have also noted the lack of an English speaking staff member - happy to report that this year there is a wonderful young man who speaks perfect English!

On the plus side, the hotel's beach is very nice and clean, the food is tasty and plentiful, and the staff are always ready to help. You can leave your beach towel at home and rent one from the hotel for about 3 euros/day. The only negative in my opinion was the hardness of the bed - the mattress is thin - but this miight not be a bad thing for those with bad backs. Regardless, I would definitely return!

Nice location out of the city with beach. Car park not big enough for all guests so found we had to leave the car on the road which wasn’t ideal as there is no parking really so it was on the walk way. The air conditioning did get working but it so weak even on full power it barely made a difference and was switched off during the day so was always hot when we got back.
Breakfast was cured meat, cheese, eggs some cereal and other odd little which was ok but could do with a little more choices. Staff don’t speak English so you will need to get a translator app or try your best to determine what is being said.

Fantastic views to Brac island.

We stayed for 4 nights at Hotel Sunce and enjoyed our time there. The owner was lovely very, always accommodating to any of our requests. We had a beautiful balcony with amazing views. The breakfast choice was quite good, with hot and cold foods. Some bacon would be a pleasant addition. It was unusually cold the first night, so we were given a heater the next night which was great. Bus stop close by to get into Split. Overall great value for money.

The Hotel Sunce is an ideal location for a quiet relaxing holiday, this small family run hotel is right on the beach in Podstrana overlooking the Island of Brac, the beach is ideal for a relaxing swim but beach shoes should be worn as is the case with many beaches on the Dalmatian coast it is made up of small pebbles.
There is a hotel beach bar for drinks and lunches under the hotel.
The Hotel is run by a charming German lady called Mira, although she speaks only German and Croatian she is delighted to be of assistance.
For those with only English there was a young lady called Danielle in the hotel in the mornings (pony tail, very pretty) who is very happy to make any arrangements for trips etc; and also to arrange airport transfers by taxi if required,
Our sea-view room on the second floor had a surprisingly large balcony with table and chairs fitting easily into one end, the view was perfect especially at sunset. The room itself was comfortably sized with plenty of floor space and storage. There is a safe at no extra cost which worked perfectly as did the air-con, be aware it will not operate if the balcony door is open.
Breakfast is plentiful if you are early but Mira and her staff are happy to cook fresh eggs, omelettes etc.
The bus stop to Split id 60 metres to the right of the hotel with service every 30 minutes.
To sum up, good hotel, pleasant helpful staff, clean and modern interiors, ideal location for Split, quiet and relaxing.

Nice hotel close to the beach

Cracking hotel with bus route to get to split town just a 5 minute walk down the road. Anna is a lovely lady and all staff willing to help with whatever you need. Plenty of excursions to hand and reasonably priced. Your own beach is literally 5 seconds walk from the hotel and plenty of sun beds no need to run down and reserve a bed etc. Own bar on beach too with local beer on tap. The owner speaks German and no english however Anna is there a Croatian lady who speaks good English if your stuck with wanting to know anything etc. However the owner is really welcoming and equally willing to try to help with anything! Would defiantly recommend this hotel to anyone willing to experience Croatia for a nice relaxing holiday but with all the excursions to give you the option to explore if you would like adventure.

Great location right next to the beach

Arrived early in the morning at 11am and was greeted by the owner who doesn't speak English, Croatian or German only. Was told to wait at the outdoor sitting area till 2pm when the room is ready and another staff arrive who speak English to check us in. Bedroom and bathroom are small but clean. We have requested specifically for a room with sea view and balcony which made up for the size of the room. The hotel has no lift with lots of steps/stairs. You would need to use stairs to get down to the beach. Therefore this is a problem for someone with limited mobility. As advertised, the hotel is right next to the beach and we had the balcony door opened and slept with the sound of the surf every night which was lovely. Breakfast choices were limited if you are used to full English breakfast. The swimming pool is smaller than it appeared on the photo but as I was the only person who swam in the unheard cool water, it was fine. Bring your own toiletries as only one shower gel and two tiny soaps were provided. Biggest issue we had was the hotel is permanently under staffed and on several occasions, we were approached by other guests if we have seen anyone as they could not find hotel staff anywhere. Appreciate it is not high season when we were there but not brilliant if you are running the business on a shoestring with one owner and another staff. Not the most welcoming/friendly owner we have met in our travels.

Our experience was:
-Misleading hotel advertising with every aspect
-Tiny rooms, no sitting areas
-No sitting area in all the hotel
-When it rains we have to sit on the bed
-No body wash or shampoo supplied except one tiny bottle for all stay
-TV is limited and shuts down
-Internet limited and shuts down
-No English speaking authorized person to talk to
-Charges extra for any request including ice pick up
-No room or customer service knowledge, all they know is the word NO.
-Very expensive for what it is
-Our booking was based on a 4 STAR HOTEL not a 2 STAR.
-We had 2 rooms and a suite, as a family reunion that we were so disappointed.
-This is maybe my 1st or 2nd booking with Expidia and maybe the last for the bad experiance

Small hotel, lovely staff, smart and clean

We wanted a small hotel in a good location. This fitted the bill. We were visiting Split for one week. Hotel Sunce is a 30 min bus ride from Split in Podstrana with the front of the hotel on the road and the back right on the beach. The hotel has a small indoor pool with sliding doors so that you can look at the sea while you swim. The beach is narrow but with lots of sun beds, it has small white stones as most of the beaches along this coast, so you need beach shoes to get in and out of the water. We had a suite, a sitting room with bed settee a generous shower room and a double bedroom with doors opening onto a balcony

Lovely hotel right on the beach!

We travelled as a group of 5 women and were made very welcome on arrival. Reception and restaurant staff were all very helpful, however, maid service was not up to scratch with bins not being emptied daily, the floor left unswept and us having to make up the 5th bed ourselves on arrival as well as having to ask reception for extra pillows and a 5th glass. It would appear that the maid was unaware that 5 people were staying in the apartment as the 5th glass was continually taken away, only a small thing but none the less very irritating. Apart from these minor inconveniences our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. Ideally located directly on a beatiful white pebbled beach with crystal clear blue sea.
A choice of good reasonably priced restaurants are only a short walk away.
The city of Split is approximately a 20 minute bus ride away or in the other direction, a 15 minute bus ride away, is the town of Omis and Cetina Gorge, well worth a visit. If you are feeling adventurous then take the bus into Split and then catch the bus to Trogir, well worth the 40 minute bus ride from Split.

Our room was comfortable, mini bar, bathroom with shower only.

The hotel is right by the beach, just go downstairs and through the gate and you are on the beach! The views were heavenly.

On arrival at the hotel we noticed there was no disabled access and my wife who is a wheelchair user faced a steep flight of stairs to access reception. We had requested a twin room suitable for someone with limited mobility and to our dismay we got a double room situated on the second floor of a split-level hotel with no elevator - bad start! The hotel owner didn't speak English but said there would be a staff member who did the following day. With help and support my wife eventually made it to the room. The room was nice enough and clean. The king size bed had a single duvet. During our stay the temperature was 28+ degrees. The air conditioning didn't work and the owner said it did work but it was too cold to switch it on! We were told to open the balcony door but this didn't help as it was just so hot, all it served to do was let in mosquitos. The following morning we were moved to a first floor room and although better, it still involved stairs.
There are however positives...the view and the close proximity to the beach are amazing. The staff who did speak English were nice. For an able bodied traveller this hotel would not be a problem. We chose to eat at Mario's restaurant which is 5 mins away, the food and service were super. If we had been told the hotel wasn't suitable for disabled guests we wouldn't have booked. This hotel should not advertise they have air conditioning when guests clearly can't use or control it.

Hotel Sunce

I don't usually write reviews, but this hotel warrants a review. I have stayed in many hotels in the world for business and holiday, Hotel Sunce rates top. I was on a solo trip on my motorbike, outside there was plenty of parking for my bike and when entering the hotel the lady on reception was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was a good size, clean and quite, with a stunning balcony view directly over the beach, so you have the sound of the waves as you sleep. The breakfast was good and fulfilled all my needs. I prefer hotels a little way out of town and Hotel Sunce is. A car would be best to get to the centre of Split, but if you have 2.5 hrs, I recommend a long walk along the coast. On my way back from Dubrovnik, I stopped in a second time and to accommodate my needs, they spoke with other quests and switched rooms for me. I had a very relaxing stay. Overall, I highly rate this hotel and the staff, the manager and lady on reception who were there during my visit, my favourite hotel so far.

Pleasant stay in restful location

Enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Sunce - extremely clean and a beautiful view to the beach and water in Podstrana. Near to Split with an easy bus ride into the city for sightseeing. Also drove to Dubrovnik although that was a long car trip, lousy parking in Dubrovnik, but an absolutely beautiful old town with an amazing city wall to walk around! Ate at the hotel and it was fine, depending on what you ordered. Had one below par meal, but the owner comped that the next night which was a nice gesture. The staff was very friendly and accomodating, the owner was very nice, but I guess it helped if you could speak a bit of German.

Clean hotel on the beach... NO A/C

We stayed at this hotel in the middle of July 2014. Hotel had advertised that it had Air Conditioning.. unfortunately it did not work and made it extremely hard to sleep at night. 1 window/door in the room made it impossible to have any air circulation. Located about 25 minutes by car/bus from Split. Seems far but transit is available. Bus stop is about 100 meters away from the hotel and bus line 60 will take you right to Split.

Service in the hotel restaurant is extremely slow. Took almost 2 hours to order/eat/pay for lunch, safe to say we only ate there once.

Lovely beach location, but no air con

Overall this is a nice, small hotel, located in Podstrana between Split and Omis. Lovely beach location with room balconies overlooking the sea, modern design and very clean (sheets and towels changed every couple of days), good breakfast, pleasant staff. However, there's a major let-down for summer visitors. The hotel advertises that its facilities include air conditioning. However, the air con is operated centrally, not within the room, and at the owner's discretion. During our visit (late June / early July with day temperatures up to 28-30 degrees), the owner would not respond to our requests to turn on the air con in the evenings / nights. Consequently we slept in an uncomfortably hot, stuffy room. Expedia should remove the misleading information about air con from the website.

Nice hotel on the beach.....shame about the view

We arrived after a spectacular drive south from Plitvice National Park. We had to wait a while for the door to be opened, communication was difficult and we left our passports at the front desk which never seemed to be manned and the key was hanging from the 'secure' cupboard they were stored in. There were many stairs to carry our cases up to our room which promised sweeping views of the coastline, given its location......nope, we had the only room (206) of about 12 that looked out over the road and car park. It was tiny, stuffy and difficult to move around in, let alone having space to put our bags. There was no toilet roll holder and the shower was great if you were as thin as a beanpole.

Apartment in the heart of Dubrovnik castle

Three bedroom apartment was very old and old dated. The price is very far.
The bathroom was nice but the rest of the apartment seemed old.
The location was the main reason to stay here and the price!!!
It must be warned that the guy who checks you in wants CASH only for the room in Croatian currency.
This was a huge issue for me and I spent about 5 hours going to different places and banks for a money transfer.
The staff doesn't change your sheets or any daily clean up.

Would I stay here again - maybe
Be warned bring cash!!!! I thought I paid on Expedia for the rooms.

The hotel is new , clean and on the sea front and the staff are pleasant. The breakfast is satisfactory and served between 8:00 and 10:00 but can be limited if you arrive after 9:00. The rooms are clean and modern but make sure you take your own toiletries.

Modern, well maintained, well positioned small hotel right on the beach. Good Breakfast and lunch. We did not have dinner there. Friendly and helpful staff. Booked a suite which was not facing the sea but was bigger than a double room, with a view of the sea from the terrace which was cool in the early morning and evening.

Split booked? Consider this...

We spent one night here and enjoyed our stay. It's a lovely setting right on the pebble beachfront and our room had a big balcony with loungers to enjoy the view and sunshine. The room was simple, clean and tidy and had airconditioning. The Hotel Sunce restaurant was good too and there was a wide selection for breakfast.

Getting to the hotel on the bus from Split took about 45 minutes. Some friendly passengers let us know which bus stop to get off at which was great, as otherwise we would have had a long walk with suitcases.

We would have preferred to stay in Split but with a music festival on the well-rated, affordable accommodation was gone by the time we booked. If you don't mind the extra travel, Hotel Sunce is a good alternative to consider.

Tiny room.

When I tried to buzz the front desk at the front door, there was no answer. I went all around and found a way in. Madame, on duty in the afternoon, was in the laundry and could not hear the buzzer.

The room had a nice patio, but it was hard to get to to it because the bed took up the whole room. The dinner was good and the breakfast was fine. Madame spoke German but no English. Having learned that I did not speak German, she rattled on and on in German. When I asked for my passport in the morning, the woman on duty insisted that they didn't have it. That scared me. They did have it. Madame had made a copy of it and left it in the copier.

Nice hotel with a great view.

The reception lady was wonderful! So nice and always willing to help you. The hotel was really nice too, great view but not very close to the airport (SPU). Driving distance from the airport to the hotel is about 45min so rental car is a must! The breakfast was also included but didn`t really impress me. Not much of a variety and most of the stuff was cold even within 30 min of the buffet being opened. Otherwise would totally recommend this hotel, it most definitely served its purpose and would go again.

Wonderful hotel off of the coast of Croatia. Hotel had ample food for breakfast, pool, ocean view, and ability to swim in the sea. Room size were standard for European hotels.

Only issue is, I originally booked this hotel under the pretense it was located in Split, Croatia. However, once we arrived, we discovered we were in Podstrana, Croatia - about a 15 minute cab ride or 35 minute bus ride away from Split. System was easy enough to figure out, however we had to change our plans accordingly. Staff was friendly and mostly available. There were a few instances where we could not find any staff member and just went about our business.

Nice hotel for 3 stars.

Nice, 'cosy' hotel for guests which needs privacy and quietness. Right at the beach, which was lovely.Shame we got the room without the balcony (nowhere to dry the towels, bikini etc) instead en suite- we didn't ask for one. Clean hotel and lovely, helpful lady Ita. Very dedicated, smiling and hard working lady. I was impressed how multi tasker she was. From cooking lovely breakfast and baking cakes from skrach by herself to taking care of reception stuff and almost the only one speaking English. Hopefully she is getting paid very well.
Shame that even the owner could not speak any English at all! Disappointing about no kettle, coffee or tea facilities at the room and very high prices for beach towels rental.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, breakfast was fantastic with a great selection, and we dined one evening in the restaurant which was well worth it. One thing to note credit cards are not accepted for meals, so cash is required.

Great Hotel - Beach needs work!

Hotel Sunce - fantastic peaceful spot

I can't recommend this place enough - although i'd prefer not to because everyone will then discover it and i'll never get a room again. A lovely chilled and friendly small hotel on a beautiful stretch of coast. Super friendly and helpful owner made us feel so welcome. Very easy to get into Split too, just 20mins on the bus.
A very relaxed place with great views and a wonderful vibe. I'll be back next year when I'm in Croatia again for sure.

The hotel itself is clean, modern and everything I expected at the time of booking. However, the overall experience was impacted by an over zealous owner that made us feel completely unwelcome. Taking into account different cuture and language we were continually hassled and and made to feel that the owner had actually paid us for the privellage of staying at the hotel. The twin room we booked turned out to be a double and the response and assistance we recieved in relation to this was poor.

Don't be put off by this review as I am sure it is isolated. The positives are that the beach located at the hotel is very clean and easily accessible. The hotel is some distance from Split and there are limited choices in terms of what to do in the area.

On the beach

Very clean, cheery room with balcony overlooking the beach. Nice, modern facilities. Breakfast was good. Attentive, friendly service. A bit far from the center of Split, but bus service was close to hotel. Taxis were available, but about $30 from or to the city center.

Fantastisk udsigt og balkon, dejlig beliggenhed helt ned til vandet og strandpromenade. Ubemandet reception, svært at finde personale. Dårlig morgenmadsbuffet, skrabet og kedeligt udvalg. Kun mulighed for hjælp af personale på tysk. Slidt og lille poolområde, lukket sauna. Ikke tilgængelige toiletter på hotel, kun på værelser.

Bra hotell, kanske inte 4-stjärnigt i mina ögon. Läget är fantastiskt, men parkeringen är för liten. Vi hade två MC som fick plats, men i övrigt var det dubbel-och trippelparkering som gällde. Fina solstolar och bra bad, men badskor behövs. Personalen pratar mest tyska. Frukosten ok, men inget utöver det vanliga. Mycket trappor. Sköna sängar. Ta med egna handdukar då man inte får ta ut hotellets till stranden. Ät inte på hotellets strand-restaurang, gå till någon av de näraliggande istället.

One needs to have a car to get to the hotel. The Bus are scheduled but not on time due to severe traffic.
Most workers are friendly, except for that seemingly the owner. Beach towels are rented as compared to other hotels where there can be loaned.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and breakfast was excellent with a lot of fresh fruits and other variety. There are beautiful views to the sea from the hotel and it was really nice that the hotel has also its own beach. We used a rental car but without it the location might be a bit tricky. There is not so much to see or to do in Podstrana and it seems that there is not an actual town center either. This is why we visited other places too every day. The hotel's parking area was full when we arrived there for the first time, but the owner helped us and everything arranged well. We understood each other well enough with the owner even though we didn't have a common language. I travelled with my family of 5 and everything went well and we enjoyed our stay.

Die Unterkunft war nicht genügend sauber, die reception war zu aufdringlich und jammerte die ganze zeit, der Pool war nicht einsatzbereit, der strand war eine Baustelle, denn Sonnenschirm und Liegestühle mussten wir selber zum Strand tragen, das Frühstück hielt sich an der grenze zur bewunderung der kaffe war Katastrophe, die terasse war nicht belegt mit Tisch und Stühlen obwohl sehr schönes warmes Wetter war, das Zimmer hatte diverse mängel, der Wasserdruck in der Duschkabine war sehr sehr schwach usw. Das einzig positive war die nähe zum strand der eine Baustelle war!

Personnel ne parlant pas du tout anglais ni français et vous parlant unique allemand alors que la personne voyait bien que nous ne comprenions pas cette langue.
Nous avons même utiliser google traduction pour communiquer avec elle, mais elle a continuer à nous parler allemand.
Un manque de respect total.....
Quant à la chambre nous avions une chambre économique....pour le prix de la chambre une honte ! Climatisation archaïque et balcon direct sur le balcon ! Je déconseille cet hôtel surtout pour le prix.

Vi upplevde att personalen inte var trevliga, ägarinnan envisades med att prata tyska. Vi fick påpeka att de skulle byta glas, fylla på tvål. Städningen var väldigt dålig. Rummet angavs vara 25 kvm men det stämmer inte, rummet var ca 10 kvm och badrum ca 2 kvm. För hemresan var vi tvungna att åka från hotelet kl 07:00 vi frågade då om vi kunde få frukost tidigare än 07:30 vilket nekade oss.

Ros og smekk for hotellet.

Problemer når hun sjefen snakker kun tysk og er den som også er sjefen i resepsjonen. Humøret hennes er sterkt varierende, kan bli sint og lar sin frustrasjon også gå ut over gjester. Har mange gjøremål samtidig og ikke alltid lett å finne når behovet er der.
Minus: Fylles ikke på med sjampo. Kjøleskapet ikke kaldt nok, ligger på 10-12gr. Gjester klaga, men ikke ordnet.
Det e veldig vanskelig å få aksept av hun sjefen på å bruke Kredittkort.
De unge medarbeiderne er meget serviceinnstilt og veldig hyggelige hele tiden.
Dårlig opplegg rundt middag på kveldene, derfor lite gjester som spiser dette måltidet der...? Men meget god frokost og i strand restauranten er det god service.
Bassenget er veldig lite og grunt og er innendørs. Stranden er noen få meter nedenfor , burde hatt madrasser på solsengene. Strandhåndkle må betales for, 20 kuna (ca 26NOK) pr pers pr døgn , men kan forhandles synes det som hvis sjefen er i godlune.

Sehr familiäre Atmosphäre, freundliches Personal. Wir wurden herzlich aufgenommen. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtete und sehr sauber :). Das Hotel liegt direkt am Meer und bietet einen tollen Ausblick zur Meerseite. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Hotel qui est plus une \"Guest house\" avec une hôtesse ne parlant exclusivement que l'allemand mais accueillante; La chambre propre bien que le ménage ne soit pas fait tous les jours, salle de bain très très petite et colonnes d'eau très très bruyante!!!! petit déjeuner simple mais sans plus !
Jolie terrasse et environnement plutôt calme ( début de saison)
Bref, un petit 3 étoiles

L’Hotel était parfait !
Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillies pas la directrice de l’établissement.
Notre chambre était très propre avec une vue imprenable sur la mer et un balcon où nous avons pu dîner.
Le petit déjeuner était adapté à tous : produits salés et sucrés à disposition.
Nous ne le savions pas mais l’hôtel dispose d’une piscine et d’un sauna.
Nous avons prévu de revenir en vacances à Split, et reviendrons sans hésitation dans cet hôtel.

très bon accueil, hôtel et chambre impeccable et très récent. très belle vue (malgré le temps...). petit déjeuner correct et sympa.
très calme mais le parking doit être limité en pleine période estivale.
j'ai lu dans d'autres avis que la patronne parlait essentiellement allemand, oui c'est vrai mais elle est souriante patiente et on arrive a se comprendre donc pas pas de problèmes pour moi.

Asianmukainen hotelli, jossa oma pikkukivinen ranta. Olimme syyskuun loppupuolella, joten baari rannalla oli auki epäsäännöllisesti, eikä valikoimaa tai baarin pitäjää aina ollut paikalla, vaikka ovi oli auki. Myös ruokaravintola oli auki joskus. Englantia puhujina emme saaneet mitään informaatiota hotellin palveluista, joku aamiaisravintolan hoitaja puhui englantia jonkin verran, olimme aika omillaan ja käytimmekin rannan muiden ravintoloiden ja baarien palveluita.
Huone siivottiin joka päivä ja joskus pyyhkeet oli vaihdettu jokapäivä, joku päivä taas ei. Rauhallinen ja hiljainen hotelli.

Familienzimmer ohne Balkon und der Meerblick war aus einem der beiden Schlafzimmer sehr seitlich. Leider gab es keine Möglichkeit die nassen Sachen gut zu trocknen und das Schlafzimmer zur Straße laut. Das Essen war gut, die Strandbar wird sehr freundlich bedient und der Koch macht sehr leckeres Essen.

beliggenheden var fantastisk og hotellet kunne have været en fantastisk oplevelse hvis de havde haft resourcer til at yde en god service. Rengøring af værelserne skete ikke hver dag og håndklæderne skulle man selv ude og bede om. Havde man brug for svar på et spørgsmål måtte man helt ud i køkkenet for at finde personale. Hvis de havde tid til at lægge hynder ud i stolene og kræse om stedet kunne det havde været fantastisk.

Hübsches, kleines Hotel direkt am Strand.

Das von einer deutsch sprechenden Chefin geleitete Hotel hat ein eigenes Restaurant, einen In-door-pool und eine Sauna. Das Hotel ist sehr geschmackvoll und ansprechend ausgestattet. Neben Satelliten-Fernsehen und herrlichem Blick auf die Küste der Adria und die gegenüberliegende Insel Brac gibt es in ca. 150 Metern eine Bushaltestelle, von der man sowohl nach Split (25 min für max. 17 Kuna) und in Richtung Omis (25 min für max. 17 Kuna) gelangen kann. Weitere Restaurants sind in kurzer Entfernung (Fußweg am Strand entlang) zu erreichen.
Die Chefin des Hotels war stets hilfsbereit und hat uns quasi jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen. Bettwäsche- und Handtuchwechsel fanden regelmäßig und in sehr kurzen Intervallen statt. Während eines ausgiebigen Abendessens hat sie ihre Kochkünste bemerkenswert unter Beweis gestellt (landesüblicher Vorspeisenteller mit Käse und Schinken, eine auf den Punkt gegarte Dorade/Goldbrasse mit Beilagen; die angebotenen Palatschinken passten leider nicht mehr in unsere Mägen hinein)
Ein wahrlich gelungenes Mahl, dass ***** Sterne verdient hat.

Väärä kuva hotellista

Hotellin kuvista annetaan ymmärtää, että on uima-allas, kuntosali.. Mutta uima-allas on lähinnä lasten kahluuallas, jossa kukaan ei oikeasti ui. Vesi on kylmää ja allas pieni. Kuntosalilla varmaan tarkoitetaan paria pölyttynyttä kuntoiluvälinettä seinän vierellä. Niitäkään tuskin kukaan käyttänyt. Aamiainen oli ankea. Mitään vihreää ei koskaan ollut . Ei tomaattia, kurkkua, salaattia yms.. muutamia leikkeleitä ja niissäkin oli tuntuma, ettei uskaltanut ottaa niin paljon kuin halusi, jotta muillekin jäisi. Pettymys. Hotellin sijainnilla ja kunnolla siitä saisi hienon paikan, mutta tuntui siltä, että asioita yritetään tehdä rimaa hipoen.
Aurinkovarjoa emme saaneet pyydettäessä, mutta kun paikalle tuli muita asiakkaita, niin heille löytyi heti. Yhdelle pariskunnalle järjestyi aamupala ulkoterassilla joka aamu. Kun he lähtivät pois, vietiin samalla myös ulkoterassi pois ??
Jääkaappi huoneessa oli liian lämmin, eikä sitä voinut säätää kylmemmälle.

Ein kleines, aber feinesUrlaub-Hotel

Die Direktorin des Hotels und ihre Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und stets hilfsbereit, sodass man so etwas wie wohltuende Familien-Atmosphaere spuerte.
Die im Zimmer vorhandene WLAN-Signalstaerke war hervorragend, sodass das Verschicken von E-Mails (inkl. Anhaenge) und der Besuch von Internet-Seiten jederzeit problemlos moeglich war.
Das abwechslungsreiche Fruehstueck, die Aussen-Terasse mit Blick auf die See, auf die Inseln und auf die Kueste, der Strand und seine Ausstattung mit Liegestuehlen und Sonnenschirmen und das klare See-Wasser vermittelten wohltuenden Urlaub-Genuss.

Hotelli lähellä rantaa

Perushyvä hotelli todella lähellä rantaa. Huoneemme oli todella pieni mutta siisti, parveke ja näköala merelle oli suuri plussa. Hotellin palveluissa ei valittamista, aamiainen oli ok. Koska ei ollut isoin sesonki, kaikki palvelut eivät vielä olleet käytössä (aurinkotuoleja pestiin, ravintola ei ollut auki). Kovasti tuntuivat puhuvan saksaa hotellissa, mutta englannilla pärjäsi kyllä.

Kiva hotelli rannalla

Kiva, pieni ja siisti hotelli.
Parveke oli mahtava, merelle päin. Vaikka oli suhteellisen viileä ilma parvekkeella tarkeni hyvin auringossa. Aamupala ihan ok ja ystävällinen henkilökunta.

Hyvin hoidettu hotelli kauniilla paikalla.

Olimme selvästi liian aikaisin liikkeellä. Ympäristöä vasta valmisteltiin talven jälkeen. 1/2 tuntia paikallisbussin kyydissä Splitiin melkein joka päivä. Hotellin omistaja puhui vain saksaa ja kroatiaa. Spaasta ei voi puhua: sauna ja kylmä allas.
