From the beginning at the front desk we were charged for taxes even though we are American citizens and Colombians as well. But because we said we entry the country by biometric standards ( which does not require the stamp at the passport ) we were charged illegally. We are going to petition de return of our tax money. We we are in Bogotá and we were exempted from taxes. Officers in immigration told us that is illegal . We are never going back to that hotel.

AC works well, breakfast was very good (variety). Location is great, right in the heart downtown Pereira. Nice & clean room. As far as paying at the property I dont recommend, better off to pay in full before arriving since peso fluctuates daily and create discrepancies when charging on a credit card. All my issues got resolved in a satisfactory manner after working with the administration contact.

Near Pereira airport $15 k pesos or about 5 dollars; staff is friendly and goes out of their way to help.Hotel rooms are big, bathrooms/shower area is small but good enough for a short stay. Highly recommend for a short stay.

The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. The rooftop bar-restaurant is atmosphere is great and the food and drinks are taste good. Only complaint is that there is only one elevator for 11 floors and sometimes it’s very busy. I had a grreat experience and will stay again in my next visit. Thank you!

This property is in a great location the staff is supper friendly, the food is great I love their breakfast and the view from the Sky Lounge restaurant in the 11th floor is amazing.

To be honest I was expecting something different for that price, the food at the rooftop was terrible and overpriced
Breakfast was very good but don't request a hot water, is taking forever.
The staff was very nice most the ladies than the guys and I appreciate the lady at the lobby for helping me to fix the mistake that I did booking my room.

We often stay here when catching an early flight out of PEI.

It’s on Plaza Bolivar, so as often the case in a Latin city, there’s stuff to do and see.

Normally, I give them top marks. This time…

First, we took the car straight to the parking garage. It’s a public garage that subs for the hotel.

Mustn’t do that. Must stop in at the desk first, get the many pages of paper filled out, THEN drive the car to the garage. This entails circling several blocks in an inner city, and making an extra stop.

Second.. we reserved the best room. A large, high suite. The TV didn’t work, the AC wouldn’t blow cold and the emblems on the AC control were rubbed off, so no help there. Also the room offered only instant coffee. This hotel is literally the central hub for the Colombian Coffee district.

Lastly, breakfast. The food ranged from ok to ordinary. If this wasn’t the highest priced hotel in the largest city in the area, I’d shrug it off. But, we should get better.

Also lastly…. The large group of young staff wanted to please. Truly. They’ve been trained to display sincere concern and enthusiasm. But…. They’ve not been trained in what that actuallly means.

I picked two slices of whole wheat bread. The large toaster was being guarded by a young lad. I asked if he would move so I could make toast?

He must make my toast. That’s why he’s guarding the toaster. In a little. (Long) while the toast was done.

When I purchased my ticket I specifically booked here because I was told that I had on- site parking. When I arrived parking was indeed complimentary but it was far away from the hotel. Given the parking situation, I opted to valet which cost about 10,000 COP. In my view this was deceiving & did not appreciate it being lied to.

the hotel are is perfect and all the sunrroundings are quiet , nice and safe, however hotel is not my choice anymore, reservation was very rude and avoid to help me cancelling even when I request cancellation in advance like a 25 dias before checkin , hotel is clean but rooms beds was very small and they have more choice in the area that probably treat clients in a very smart way.

Stayed at Soratama for a week, came in with great expectations as the location and all I can say is that it was a great disapointment.
Arrogant entitled front desk staff with zero empathy or sense of customer service.
Too many things too list but ill summarize it.
\"Breakfast \" was a complete joke, did not expect anything Grand but the bare min and I would be content, they have the bravery of serving old hard bread and all bakery goods every single day, you need to chase the servers for spoons, sweetners, salt and coffee or any condiments, if you ask for an omelette you will get raw eggs, super watery juice, fermented chia pudding, complete lack of competence, and if you point it out they will not bring you a proper made to taste one, no replacements, no guests allowed after 7 pm so my mother in law could not be with our 6 month old baby after that
Elevator super slow and just 1 for the whole hotel that barely 3 people can fit in.
They tried to charge taxes to my wife because shes dual citizen ( Canadian / Colombian )
One day they were called to clean the room late ( 430 pm ) but instead of cleaning, they decide to spray what felt like a full can of freshner and upon returning we had to stay out for over one hour with a 6 month old baby because it was intoxicating
Brought it up at front desk and the guy on duty smiled at us with a clown look and replied ( so no freshner tomorrow?)

It’s a very pretty property—well taken care of. In a busy, exciting spot right in front of Plaza Bólivar. Close to everything! My suite was lovely and very big! The bed was nice and firm. I liked the sitting bench in the shower as well—excellent water pressure with hot water! I think the staff was the best part—sweet, considerate employees who made me feel so welcome. I’d go back just to see their smiles. They took very good care of me!

Only two things I didn’t love—only one elevator, and I know the description said typical Colombian breakfast, and I’m still learning about that. I ate the breakfast about half my time there.

The staff was the highlight for me, I cannot remember the last time I was served so well in a hotel. Our room had plenty of natural light and was very spacious. The food, drinks and service from the restaurant was also fantastic, included getting drinks served in the jacuzzi which is on the rooftop! Super clean facilities, and the cleaning service on point as well. My favourite staff member was Jennifer, not only did she always serve us with a smile, she gave us some great suggestions on where to go and when to enjoy the trip to the fullest, also going above and beyond by printing us a map to avoid the not so safe areas in the city. If I come back to Pereira again, there is no doubt I will be staying here. Not to forget, the included breakfast buffet and the service that came along also gets 10/10!!!

Great experience, great location, great accommodations, awesome view from the sky lounge terrace, comfortable beds and excellent service.The breakfast is good and has a good assortment of choices to get you going until lunch time or further. The a la cart menu has a variety of meats and drinks at affordable prices. Very happy overall and would recommend it without a doubt.
Yuri the room attendant was very professional, respectful and friendly.
Alexa the breakfast hostess was very attentive and always say hello with a smile. even follow up with a random question i had the first time i met her.
Sebastian and Luis the restaurant servers were very helpful and making sure everybody was being taken care of.
The bell staff was friendly and helpful (sorry, i don't remember their names).
I will definitely stay here on my next visit to Pereira.

This is a very nice and comfortable hotel with friendly staff. The room was beyond my expectations, clean, comfortable, quiet. The cleaning staff are amazing and should be recognized. Only two negatives. the breakfast could be better, the eggs were very runny and not fully cooked-cold, buenlos-cold. After i checked in I left and walked over to Subway and while I was in subway I turned around and saw one of the staff from the hotel talking to the lady who works at subway and pointing at me and then he left. I have no i idea what that was about but I'm not sure why he was folllowing me in the first place. But other than that the hotel itself is very nice.I would love to stay there again.
