I really love this hotel. It is so charming and the rooms are very comfortable and very clean. The restaurant is fantastic actually. I'm sad that they got rid of the big free breakfast bar, but you can still order good food off the menu. But it was fun to be able to order eggs anyway you like it from the breakfast bar. The staff is great. They're so helpful and kind. Everything is so clean and decorated very nicely. Not to be too picky, but the pictures in the room are awful.

The staff were super nice and they go above and beyond! The rooms are tiny, which was fine for my trip. We found parking in the neighborhood, $45 a day for valet was not ideal and I didn’t know about it until I showed up. Restaurant was good a bit overpriced. We asked for water that wasn’t tap and they brought us a bottle which was $15, learned my lesson. My biggest complaint is the comp breakfast. No eggs! All I wanted was a good hearty breakfast before two days of work and it was crap cereal, sugary yogurt, bread. I was super disappointed. The area can be a bit loud with the freeway there and party people.

The room was cozy, although there was a balcony, but they locked it, so you can't really go outside or open the door! The only problem I have is that the water wasn't hot enough; it's on the warm side. The hotel is in the middle of the highway, so if you don't drive like me, you are stuck!

The staff here is stellar! My husband was getting medical treatment at UCLA during most of our stay. The front desk, West Restaurant and the valet service took care of me well. Examples: I needed a champagne flute. Not only did West Restaurant give it to me, the glass was chilled. I needed some information and directions to closest tobacco shop, they assisted me. My Lexus convertible can be difficult to start, and each valet was patient and treated her with love and care.
The rooms are comfortable and cozy with excellent views. I had all that I needed as far as drawer and closet space, ironing board, ice bucket, towels and toiletries. I lounged by the pool, and ordered room service as needed.
There were several times that I had to use the stairs rather than the elevator to return to my room because the elevator got stuck on higher floors. I also had difficulty on my floor with one side not wanting to return to the lobby, so I would get out and press the button for another elevator. Even though it's not necessary to tap your room key to go to the lobby, sometimes this option allowed me to return to the lobby.

We had a wonderful stay for my 30th birthday at Hotel Angeleno! We were given a complimentary upgrade to a room on a higher floor, which we really appreciated. The staff was kind and the hotel was clean. The pool and gym were nice amenities, as well as a working space in the lobby. The rooftop restaurant was nice for breakfast. The complimentary breakfast had good options, with hot food options available at an additional cost. The free uber was also a great feature of the hotel and made it easy to visit tourist spots, like a Getty Museum that is down the road. It would have been nice to have complimentary water in the room and cheaper valet parking options. However, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel to others.

The room was very clean but I was given the impression that we would be able to use the balcony. The balcony door was locked and not usable. Staff was nice but they were not upfront about the valet parking daily cost which was about $45 daily. We tried calling the front desk as they said they can reserve an Uber for free cost to the Getty museum but we were on hold for almost an hour. The hotel was nice though and we just wish they were upfront with a lot of stuff beforehand. Due to this we wouldn't go there again.

Good, free breakfast was not really a breakfast, they had Bagels,cereal,fruit and croissants. Please have actual breakfast. I understand adults eat those items once in a while to re-live child hood, but as an Adult I would like some REAL breakfast. That was a big disappointment. All the money they make from the Valet should go strait to BREAKFAST items! Please do better

Overall we had a very nice stay. It was centrally located between the places we needed to go and Uber was able to drop off and pick up easily. Online we understood a shuttle could take us within 3 miles, which was one reason we selected the hotel. But when we arrived, they explained it was an Uber service during limited hours to limited locations, so we couldn't benefit from it.
Although we only used both amenities once, the pool hours are good (open until 10 pm) and they a have free glass of wine in the afternoon. The continental breakfast is the exact same daily, which is a good offering, but it would be nice to have some boiled eggs or some other light protein option as opposed to the large pay breakfasts.
The rooms are a bit small and we would have preferred queen beds instead of doubles for a family of 3. But that's mainly due to the shape of the hotel, which limits the size of the spaces. We made it work.
The only issue we ran into were some young women under the influence yelling in the halls at 4AM for 30 minutes who woke up everyone on ours and neighboring floors. The hotel said they would comp us something for the disturbance, but I don't know that we were or that the hotel was able to address the badly mannered guests in any way.
Aside from a few challenges, we enjoyed our stay.

We had a very pleasant stay and was surprised by the additional perks as a guest (complimentary uber service to 4 specific destinations). The staff from front desk, valet, cleaning crew and of course the restaurant staff were all amazing, very helpful and made us feel welcomed. I truly do not have anything negative to say however, the bathroom was super tight. That is probably the only drawback that the bathroom space is very limited. Otherwise, our overall experience was wonderful! Plus, we were centralized to everything we wanted to do as we were 20-25 mins from Santa Monica Pier, just a few mins from the Getty Museum, UCLA, Beverly Hills and Hollywood wasn’t that far either, and this hotel is about a 20-30 min drive from the main airport LAX (be mindful with heavy traffic it could be longer but without traffic we estimated this time). Definitely will stay again on my next LA visit!

The continental (free) breakfast was pretty good - nothing fancy, but good and satisfying. Room was clean and cleaning staff very friendly. Appreciated the free UBER to Westwood Village and to the Getty. Front desk was friendly as well. Did not get to use the amenities, unfortunately, but did have time in the restaurant upstairs (very nice!).

We absolutely loved this hotel! Friendly staff, very clean rooms and priced well. We were right in the middle of all the activities we had planned all over LA which was great. The restaurant was good and the pool was nice a quiet. I enjoyed being able to grab drinks at the pool but the one and only downside was it taking over 35 minutes to get my drink with little to no other people there. I’d like to add that as parents we really enjoyed how the cleaning lady organized our stuff everyday :)

Staff not very welcoming- look like they rather be anywhere but there. The man that helped me was especially not nice. I asked for a low floor at reservation and when I got there he would only offer me 10th floor! And he repeated it many times like I don’t know English. The room was dated, the rug dirty and I had to wipe someone’s feces off the side of toilet seat cover- really gross. 1 roll of toilet paper and 2 towels only- I had to ask for more. Also had to ask for luggage rack. Took over an hour to order food because no one is really working together at this place so no help when you call the rude guy at front desk. The lady that brought the food was really nice and super helpful. Our favorite person was the parking lady. I didn’t get her name but she had all the answers and was super helpful and nice to us. She also offered us the free parking for handicap that the hotel doesn't tell you about or ask and offer. She also had our car ready at 6:30 because she remembered our appointment time. Her service was excellent! Don’t let her go, she’s the only nice person there!! was very disappointed in this hotel and won’t stay there again. I really tried to like this place but the vibe is bad. It was close to the hospital so we stayed there but I won’t do that again. Get it together guys! Hotel guests are like house guests you treat them nice and offer all your good service. Your food service girl and parking lady were the only nice people in your hotel..

Not centrally located but great for a visit to the Getty or Skirball. We'll definitely be back for our next visit.

The hotel itself is nice and updated. Rooms were nice and clean. However, trying to get a good night sleep was utterly impossible with the freeway(405). I am a light sleeper anyway, but I always bring a white noise sound machine with me when I travel. I had the white noise machine as loud as it would go and I doubled up on Ambion and still had a horrible night. You can hear every car, truck and motorcycle whipping by. Now maybe if you are on the side of the hotel that does not face the freeway, maybe you can't hear the noise. I can't speak to that. But I would assume the majority of the rooms are susceptible to the noise just the way this hotel is shaped.
Also, I booked my stay through Expedia and so I am sure they save these Freeway side rooms for 3rd party booking. So if you book through Expedia or other 3rd party service, plan on staying in a room facing the freeway. If you do try and stay here, I would absolutely ask for a room that faces away from the 405. If no such rooms are available or they can't guarantee a room facing away from the 405, I would stay away. Unless of course you like sleeping on a freeway.
Also, I booked my stay through Expedia and so I am sure they save these Freeway side rooms for 3rd party booking. So if you book through Expedia or other 3rd party service, plan on staying in a room facing the freeway. If you do try and stay here, I would absolutely ask for a room that faces away from the 405. If no such rooms are available or they can't guarantee a room facing away from the 405, I would stay away. Unless of course you like sleeping on a freeway.
