Hotel Cellini was recommended to us by friends, and we enjoyed our stay there. It is an older building, but very pretty and clean. The room was good-sized, and the bed was comfortable. There was one night that there was a lot of noise in the street outside our room (I think there's a bar around the corner and the patrons were having a good time!) but it only happened one night. My only complaint about the room would be the shower, it's teeny and kind of awkward to maneuver in there - but that certainly didn't put a damper on our stay at all! Everything else was perfect. The hotel is very conveniently located with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby, and was very close to the train station. The front desk staff was especially helpful and friendly! We would stay there again!

I had my coffee sent to my room every morning no problem. AC was amazing after a long day of touring. Everything you want with historic charm and modern amenities.

This was our second day. Hotel is off the beaten track and could be difficult to find if you didn’t know what you were looking for. Office visits we had had car service from the airport and they dropped us off right in front, however, the hotel is just around the corner from a metro station. There is plenty of restaurants and shopping in the area. Rooms are quiet and of a decent size, but not huge. My biggest issue was that or particular room, across from the breakfast room, on the second floor, had horrible Internet service. Our friends on the third floor did not have that problem. I definitely would not stay in that room again. Breakfast is OK, but uninspired. Helpful staff serve the coffee, cappuccino, or tea, all you would like and it is good. The next time I come to Rome, I would probably look to stay in a different location.

This is a fantastic little boutique hotel within walking distance of most attractions. The rooms were immaculately clean and well appointed. The breakfast was delicious. But the standout feature was the staff! So kind and accommodating - even going so far as to surprise our group with a special 50th anniversary banner, cake, and Asti on one evening. We couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly. It is truly a gem.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel with wonderful staff. The location is very central and accessible to everything around. Beautifully designed with a wonderful breakfast area for guests to enjoy breakfast or just sit down, relax and enjoy a glass of wine. The staff were as helpful as can be and truly made our stay a fantastic one. Couldn't have asked for better place to stay and we would be very happy to go back to Hotel Cellini in our next trip to Rome.

We had a lovely, peaceful stay at Hotel Cellini. The environment was tranquil, the room was quant and had a traditional feel but was comfortable, functional and clean. The staff were eminently helpful, going out of their way to correct a bed configuration mix-up, help us with navigation, or ensure our breakfast experience was positive. The breakfast itself was simple but delicious and worth the cost.

Staff receptionist Daniel was excellent. He was very prompt in providing our requests and gave us all necessary information for our trip. We were lucky he was always on shift when we needed some help. The hotel is clean and well maintained. Excellent experience during our stay. Location is very good. Walkable distance from Trevi fountain and Spanish steps. Can reach Colesseum within 2 stops from the nearest metro from hotel. Felt safe around the area as well.

A wonderful little hotel, with welcoming, extremely helpful staff. Everything was spotlessly clean and our room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is well-located, away from the crowded centre, but still within easy walking distance of many of the main attractions, and with plenty of good eating options nearby. Also very convenient to the main train station and the Repubblica Metro station (handy for visiting the Vatican City).

The staff made our stay perfect. They were so attentive and pleasant. Mel and team made fantastic cappuccinos for my wife and I every morning with a lovely breakfast spread. For North American travellers, I would classify the breakfast as \"continental\" however there was a huge array of local breads, cheeses, fruits, and savory or sweet pastries.

The room was quaint and large. The beds were comfortable and true to size. It was quiet despite the very central location.

The matress in the bedroom was fine for the short stay, but not comfortable. Staff again were excellent, I would consider this a good option for the reasons provided.

You have to ring in.... and when we went to close the door behind us someone from the street tried to enter... It took me and my husband to shut the door!!!! just a little scary. A great find in an amazing old heritage building.”A total surprise once you are at the reception area.
Well appointed clean rooms with a very comfortable king size bed and great pillows!! The bathroom shower had good water pressure and the amenities ( soap shower cap, etc). Mel at the reception was very helpful and went out of his way to ensure we had all bases covered!

Quaint hotel - looks to have been converted from part of an apartment building. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast can be eaten inside or on the terrace. They responded very quickly to online queries. Great location - Trevi, Spanish Steps and Coliseum are all walkable. Close to the metro (to get to Vatican City).

Historic building in a safe and quiet area. Had a little trouble finding the hotel at first as there is only a small sign at the entrance. You need to buzz in and go up to the second floor for reception. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Contrary to other reviews I’ve seen, breakfast is served every day (not just on weekends) and there was a safe in the room.

Lovely little hotel in convenient location

We love the Hotel Cellini. We stayed there 20 years ago
and it is still as lovely as it was then. The rooms are
large and bright and bathrooms updated and clean.
The breakfast room is open and decorated with lots of
greenery which makes for an inviting eating area.
The location of the hotel is also perfect for those doing day trips out of Rome and needing access to the train station.
Will definitely stay here again when in Rome.

Most importantly, our room had a very unpleasant smell, like someone had left a tub of make-up pancake out for hours. We couldn’t get rid of it with windows open or AC on. The standing lamp flashed while turned off, I had to unplug it to get the room dark. The AC was also pretty ineffective. If you are older, wrangling your luggage up the stairs to get to the elevator is difficult. We got an upgrade, but all that meant was we got two twin beds along with our queen size. Weird. The staff we met was nice and friendly. We had to run for an early flight so no idea what breakfast was like, but the terrace they serve it at is lovely.

The hotel is in a charming old building. The rooms are very spacious. 3 of us had plenty of space to navigate.

Hotel Cellini is magnifique

Amazing hotel, very detail oriented. Better than expected, staff was amazing! Donato, Gaitano, Danillé, Lorené, Derek, Mel and housekeeping staff did a kick ass job of cleaning. Front desk staff were attentive, took care of every need we had and the breakfast spread is extra but worth it.
Lobby is clean and well maintained. Marble floors, lift works perfectly, very secure and safe. Termini station is a short walk around a couple blocks. They have umbrellas if you need to borrow.
We had a Superior room which we didn't expect with a beautiful terrace, our bathroom had a European bidet, Jacuzzi tub and shower with great water pressure. Heated towel rack and toiletries that were awesome. We had a bowl of chocolates as well. This will be our go to from now on. 10/10.

We have just had (Nov ’24) a wonderful week’s stay at the Hotel Cellini. It’s a peaceful and happy place to start each day from and return to. The location is very good for a 20-30 minute walk to lots of the attractions in the city, and the easy availability of taxis means you don’t need to walk back at the end of a long day out. The hotel provides an excellent breakfast with pastries, cold meats, cereal, cheese etc, although nothing cooked. As there is no kitchen, they don’t do evening meals but there are good places to eat very close by, such as Target a few paces away at the corner.

The thing that really struck us was the delightful way that a former elegant apartment has been converted into a hotel. Every detail has been attended to from the subtle difference in the paint shades to the beautifully designed and cut marble floor. This all contributes to the feeling of peace and calm.

The staff seem genuinely happy to be working at the Hotel Cellini and there is a real family feeling. Gaetano and Donato, the brothers who have created the hotel with such care, are often present, and have a wealth of information about Rome and what there is to see and do.

This is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in and we recommend it highly. We wish Gaetano and Donato and all the staff well for Rome’s jubilee year in 2025, and thank them all warmly for our wonderful stay.

The elevator is quite dated with a 3 person limitation. It took several trips to deliver our bags to the room as the elevator was also very small.

The property is dated but clean with friendly staff. After hours you have to ring the buzzer to gain access to the building. On occasion, it may take a while to summons the elevator, but the hotel is on the second floor but conveniently accessed by the stairs.
