Lovely room with a view. Odd quirk is full length window by shower. Staff was nice and arranged transportation to Hanoi for us. Breakfast was made to order. We had the best beef pho of our whole trip there! Hotel is on a side street so it was quieter but still busy. Close to a few shops and restaurants. I wish it was closer to the main hub of stores etc in Tam Coc but it was easy to get a Grab. A green oasis.

We thoroughly recommend the Little Tam Coc - huge room, wonderful big bed, great service (breakfast was amazing!) and great value. The staff were amazing when we rocked up at 4.30 in the morning (we’d booked for the night before which we think is fair!). Laundry & airport transfer - nothing was too much. Thank you

The welcome was warm and kind and helpful. The location is very good near local attractions and good restaurants.
The room was comfortable on the bed was enormous! The mountain view upstairs room has incredible views the local Hills.

Everything from start to finish was incredible. Soo friendly, outlined all the best food and drink spots, breakfast was amazing + they even made use a takeaway breakfast due to our early train on our 2nd day. Location is great, 100% best hotel of our trip.

Things to highlight:

Room was spotless
Property is exactly as the photos show
Sorted laundry for us on the same day
Offered is a complementary pick up from the train station
Forgot some belongings and they followed to give them to us before we got on the train(so so kind)

Room was very clean with a fabulous view. The staff could not have been any more friendly & helpful. They make your breakfast to order, with a full plate of fresh fruit. It was an easy walk downtown, yet on the outskirts so it was quiet & peaceful to sleep. We would definitely stay here again!

The property is great, but truly I want to highlight the staff. I’m so sorry I don’t recall your name, but the lady running this place is an icon! She is so attentive, helpful, and kind. We had to leave at 6am and she even offered to pack up breakfast for us to go.

Property itself is so much better than the concrete boxes. It’s tastefully designed, trees growing through, nature-forward. Towels, toiletries, etc provided.

Booking an airport transfer was also so easy, safe, and convenient.

Location, this is the spot. It’s on a main road, but a 4 minute walk takes you to a quiet section behind, OR, go the other way into the city for shopping & liveliness. Exactly what I needed to escape. We will be back!

very nicely designed bungalow hotel along a popular road that is adjacent to Tam Coc river. The good thing is that it is near the popular spot and yet it off the busy part. Quiet place to enjoy the river. Also eco friendly, there is a tree in middle of courtyard and a hole at upper floor was there to accommodate this tree. Staff is super friendly. There is also a new litter of kittens to keep quests happy

We were disappointed in our stay here. The room we were given (“Family Triple Room, Garden View”) did not match the website’s description or photos. We asked if we could switch to another room but the only vacant option had not been cleaned. Our room lacked a balcony and separate seating area as included in the description. The bathroom was gross with only a rudimentary handheld shower that didn’t match the photos. The “soundproofing” was non existent, you could hear conversations from nearby bars in restaurants until late at night.

This place has more of a home stay vibe than an actual hotel. The host was very friendly but communication was difficult. We had friends stay in a different hotel nearby for the same price but had much nicer accommodations. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this place and especially not our room type.

Everything was wonderful and the owner was so helpful. She had scooters delivered to us at hotel to use, showed us where to buy best priced fuel to not get overcharged as tourists.
Property is lovely, surrounded in natural Beuty and the buildings had beautiful architecture. Just a lovely place to stay!

Best spot to stay in Tam Coc! We stayed here for 4 nights at room 223 . The location is just on the outskirts of “downtown” quiet and peaceful, but walking distance (5-10min) to anything in town. We were able to rent motorbikes for the days here for such an affordable price. The bed was comfortable, sheets were clean, and the hot water and water pressure were fantastic. I saw negative reviews about bugs, but they seemed to solve that problem as well didn’t have any. The view alone should sway anyone yes to stay here. It’s a mom and pop type of business , the owner and staff were super helpful and nice!

Unfortunately we happened to be in Tam Coc when the typhoon hit, although that was an experience in itself. However, the owner was absolutely brilliant and is such a lovely lady, nothing is too much trouble. Tam Coc is absolutely lovely, as is the hotel. Because we were only there for three nights and two of those were affected by the typhoon we are definitely going to go back to experience Tam Coc and when we do we will make sure we stay here. It's in a lovely spot by the river and is only a 10 minute walk to the main street although having said that there are some really nice restaurants very close by. We will have absolutely no hesitation in returning back here, it is an absolute gem of a hotel.

Little Tam Coc Village is a peaceful and charming homestay surrounded by stunning rice fields and limestone mountains. The rooms are clean and cozy, and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. Super cute layout; rooms instagramable staff help arrange driver for excursions he was kind and offered ice cold water afterwards, we were so thankful for that. Overall a we had best location for seeing everything. Bike rentals and breakfast was available.

I had such a great time here. Ha was incredibly helpful and accommodating. She helped me book my tours and gave me recommendations. The place was very comfortable and peaceful. There are a couple of good restaurants nearby and the town center is just an 8 minute walk (very safe). I highly recommend!

The place is quiet and amongst nature. Rooms are big and super comfy. The staff is very courteous and helpful. I'd recommend taking a bike or scooter from them and going to fields around at sunset or sunrise. Worth it

Lovely stay! Really close to all the restaurants in Tam Coc while giving us a feeling of being quite remote. Rented bikes and scooters from the hotel which made our trip super special. Ha also arranged the most delicious breakfast for the day we had to check out early. Nothing was too much trouble. The whole team were really friendly!

Loved our stay at Little TamCoc. Such a quaint home stay. Well decorated, clean. Breakfast options simple and delicious. The staff (Ha) and the owner (Xuân), were very helpful with transportation and advice. So quiet but yet close to many dining options snd stores. Would stay there again.
Try the restaurant 2 doors down (Chezloan). Food a drinks there were delicious and atmosphere and staff were excellent.

What a gem of a find. The room was very comfortable, with a lovely veranda. Bathroom was clean - water pressure strong and there is hot water. Away from the busy town area of Tam Coc but walking distance. The area around is peaceful. Staff were very helpful, kind and chatty. I would stay here again. There is a good local restaurant just right next door as well.

We had a wonderful stay at Little Tam Coc. Don’t judge this place by the room rate. We felt it was worth more than what we paid. We were treated like family. The rooms were spacious and the bedding was clean and warm. Check in was quick and easy. We were asked what we wanted to eat for breakfast, Vietnamese or Western breakfast. We chose Vietnamese and they were made and served fresh. They were delicious!! They offer bicycles and motorbikes to drive into and around town. The property is located 5 minutes walk from the touristy food and market scene. Far enough to get some peace if you need it but close enough to where all the action is. It is a family run business run by the SWEETEST people.

I’ve read some critiques about the old-fashion locks on the doors of the rooms, but personally we felt that they added charm to the place. It may be challenging for some to accept but it reflects the culture and safety of the area.

We were a family of 5 and had been to Tam Coc a few years previous. We did not stay here but wished we did. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area of Ninh Binh. We will definitely return to Little Tam Coc when we have a chance.

This is a beautiful property backed against the mountain. Our room was very spacious with a beautiful terrace looking at the mountain. The stone and wood accents in the room gave a natural feel.
It was roomy and had a delightful balcony for my morning coffee. The shower was fantastic and much appreciated after full days in the heat.

Our host was very helpful when our limo arrived and left without us.

An excellent choice for beautiful mountain views with balcony. It’s only a five minute or less walk to downtown which gives the the peace and tranquility that you want in Tam Coc, while still having high quality restaurants and services nearby. The staff are so kind and helpful from the daytime to nighttime staff. We will recommend to friends and family traveling to this area. Thank you again for the great experience…. One of our highlights of our one month Vietnam trip from California.

This is an absolute 10/10 property!! It is NOT a luxury stay but it is so comfortable and clean and the staff are INCREDIBLE. The manager provided the most friendly, genuine service we have ever experienced. Nothing was too much trouble she had our washing back within 2 hours, arranged tours and transport and made us breakfast every morning. She also doted on our baby and held him so I was able to enjoy my breakfast.

We found the Chez Loan restaurant on our last day and wowee the food was sensational and beautiful decor. I highly recommend so you don’t have to walk into town.

Jadore! This little B&B is to die for and we will definitely rebook if we revisit in the future. The rooms are charming, very spacious and look exactly as pictured online. The only downside is that there were little nats all over the bathroom floor but that is to be expected in a natural surrounding. The host was so gracious and helpful with scooter rentals and recommendations on day activities. Overall, recommend this stay and a great value!

I had a very lovely stay here. I will preface that if you are more accustomed to western hotels, you need to be aware that there are some quirks about this hotel that is different but I felt that made the experience more authentic. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and for the most part quiet. The service for the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. I felt they went out of there way to accommodate my needs. It is about a 10 min walk to main area of tam coc. But being a little out of the way made it more peaceful

Definitely worth the money. Nice place that is a little bit out of the way but very easy to travel with a scooter. Bicycles and scooters could be rented at the property at a good price. Room was clean and staff were friendly. Perfect for families.

The location was amazing with lots of cool places to visit. We were offered transportation to our next location in Cat Ba by the staff which was cool but there may have been a little fib about how we would get there. We were promised a private car and got a bus instead. We still made it safe, but not what was communicated. Other than that, the staff was really nice and accommodating and the place was safe and convenient.
