I didn't know that Easter weekend was considered off season, so none of the spa amenities (which is why we went) were available. We had to find places off site to get those services.
Only one of the restaurants on site were open more than 1 day of the trip. The more pub style restaurant was only open 1 day and they had no openings if you didn't book a reservation. I have a teenager and the only restaurant of the two that was open, was the more formal one and they did not have enough of a variety of options that would appeal to a teenager, so we only ate where we stayed once and found really nice smaller local establishments in the area.
While they say you can make a reservation to eat at the restaurants, you won't be able to eat in them without a reservation.
Staff was very friendly and helpful, but I wish they had something that listed their off season times, communicated that during off season certain amenities would not be available, or at least provide some services during the off season for people who book at their establishment.

Amazing stay!! The food, room views, pool looking at the lake! Walkable into town, boat rides on the lake, sauna that looks at the lake is a very nice design. They have a shuttle if you need one- that I didn’t use but seen it used often. Definitely will be back.

The food is terrible and all food and drinks are overpriced. Got one drink and later got a bill for $31? The delivered breakfast has delivery fees tax and tip so it’s extremely expensive and is horrible quality of food.

They did nothing and then she had to follow up multiple times just for them to give me something 2 days late upon checkout… just not what I would expect from such a highly rated hotel. It’s also disappointing to see that a girl staying a couple days before me had a great and special birthday experience but when I checked in I didn’t have the same experience. In fact they asked me the occasion of my stay at least 3 times. Definitely have had better experiences at cheaper hotels.

This was the second time we stayed overnight and have been to property for dinner separately too. This small resort is just the most quaint little spot in the finger lakes. We are local and love coming here for a little weekend relaxation and to celebrate 50th bdays. We were able to check in a little early & greeted with champagne when we arrived. The weather is chilly this time of year but they still had the pool & jacuzzi heated and open until 10pm. After checking in we had celebratory drinks and appetizers with our group in the Sand Bar restaurant in the resort, everything was delicious, and we had such a great server. We didn’t have dinner at the resort this time and decided to walk over to a restaurant near the resort called Nolan’s for our Italian craving crew. We really enjoyed hanging out at the Rose Tavern for late night drinks. There is a room right outside the entrance to the tavern with comfy seats and tables and a warm fireplace. We met up there after enjoying the hot tub & pool with our group of friends to celebrate 3 50th bdays. I highly recommend the inn, rooms are clean, staff in hotel and restaurants are very friendly and will be staying again in the future during the summer instead as the the resort is blooming with flowers everywhere, there are bicycles offered to explore the area, and the outdoor pool, dining and sunsets are amazing. We didn’t have time to try the spa, but will definitely do that next time. Thank you for the a great stay!

The staff was friendly and it was a unique and cozy place to stay. 4 stars because sadly one of the main things we came for was the advertised all year round outdoor headed pool. The pool was not heated as advertised and it had a cover on it. Bummer as I thought that was a unique offering but aside from that we enjoyed our stay and the amenities.

The overall cleanliness of the room was fine. The choice of a leather seat with an obvious butt stain was a little gross. The only garbage can was in the bathroom, so trash built up over 2 days (personal choice not to have room serviced due to working in room all day). The bathroom was great. We loved relaxing in the library with a roaring fireplace and making complimentary smores kits on the fire pits! Will definitely return.

The Lake House has left nothing to chance! The rooms are so well appointed and the lake view balconies complete with Adirondack chairs invite you to relax. During our stay there were 3 events causing a lot of noise late into the night (until almost midnight). The staff was unable to deal with crowds telling us they paid for it - like we didn't pay for our three rooms. No apologies or we are sorry. Nothing! We won't stay here again!

Property and staff were amazing. The place has a lot to offer. Unfortunately the rooms are not sound proof at all. Maybe because there are no carpets, but we could hear our neighbors from next door and above us. Chairs being slid on floors, dogs barking, people talking loud and walking with hard steps above us. Not a good sleeping experience at all. I mentioned this in a survey by the resort and they didn’t even respond. Go there for the day but don’t stay the night.

The facility needs to be updated to be a modern first class destination. The rooms are missing some of the basic that are found in most every decent hotel. The shower didn't work properly, no trash can, no hair dryer, only 2 hangers in the closet etc. For the price we will find another first class location..

Definitely Luxury, but needs to fine tune a few things room and reservation related. The bedroom was at least 5 degrees warmer than the sitting room. Bed was far too soft. There was only one tiny garbage can in the bathroom for the whole suite. No fan in toilet closet. Pocket doors were off rails. Despite the quick response from maintenance, there was a significant gap between the two doors adding to a lack of privacy. Double check your reservation that someone has not booked the late night bar and restaurant. I was very unhappy to hear that when I came back from a concert at 10:30 that the bar was closed to me for a private event. I booked a VIP stay. Sorry, nothing should be off limits to the 3K I dropped for two nights.

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location. Very comfortable stay. Pool is great for families. Highly recommend paying for a room with a view. Cottage woods building is also great - don't need to splurge for the main building.

The Lakehouse was absolutely amazing! The grounds and landscaping was immaculate and the amenities were great. Both restaurants on the grounds were fantastic and the breakfast at the Library was excellent and very convenient! We spent a long weekend enjoying our anniversary and we will definitely visit again. The staff at the front door to the pool deck and housekeepers were over the top accommodating and so nice!

Property grounds were simply gorgeous and very well maintained! We were greeted with friendliness and smiles from the moment we entered The Lake House, and offered a glass of Riesling! Property also had shuttles to and back from CMAC, which was great for us concert goers! We’d love to come back again!

We stayed here for the Kane Brown concert our stay was good. We just wished the weather was better! The s’mores kit i felt like should have been graham crackers and chocolate, not cookies! We weren’t automatically offered it even though it was complementary we had to go ask for it!
