The part I didn’t like was the noise. There was a party that went on from Saturday night into Sunday morning, and the music was very loud until around 1:45 a.m. I couldn’t sleep until they finally turned it off and people stopped dancing. I was staying in room 127, right next to the area where the noise was coming from.

Great hotel, clean, great staff and centrally located. There is a beautiful church just in front of the hotel, great bars, restaurants, museums and a monastery all within 10-15 mins away from the hotel. Great place to stay

My room was clean and comfortable with easy access to the restaurant. My only issue was a stroppy receptionist who I encountered when booking in! While I was early at the hotel she made it quite clear via her attitude that I would have to wait until dead of 3pm, while other quests were accommodated upon arrival. Nevertheless the price I paid was good and near the centre of the city. I would stay again, as long as the dreaded receptionist was not on duty!!!

Staff was very helpful and kind. Room and hotel were spotless. The restaurant staff, especially at breakfast went out of their way to help us, as we do not speak Romanian. The room, twin standard was very small-not room for our luggage to open. We would stay again. Great location as well and there is parking but it is first come first serve.

Perfect location for a brief weekend stay, the staff were friendly checking in at 2am. Parking was easy opposite the hotel or paid public parking nearby. Walkable to the town centre. Breakfast was basic so would not necessarily recommend.

Superb location, friendly and dependable

I stayed for an extended day in Continental Suceava. In spite of having a one night reservation of a basic room, and arriving at 4am before, the very kind staff arranged a (very) early checkin, and I could have breakfast on the same day (paid for). I appreciate all Romanian Continental hotels for their dependability, very central location, well functioning essentials (shower with pressure, minibar, wide desks, many plugs, good mattress), quiet and very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast too was good including coffee, juice, sandwich materials, warm options (scramble, sausage), and milk-based (muesli, cheeses), as well as sweet (cake, jams etc.). Wifi is free and fast. Setting is beautiful in a tree-filled small roundabout mid-city. Overall, very much as expected and I remain loyal to this chain wherever I find it in country.

Avoid this at all cost. I wanted to give this Zero star. This is not just look-old hotel.
- Room: miserable. bad smell from cement concrete block, electric kettle go overheated cause my hands get burned, bath tub leaks flood every time after shower. Mini fridge not even working.
- Reception: upsetting. they do only check-iin/ out, otherwise, they say you’re on your own.
- Breakfast: ridiculous. significant lack of choices and quantities,

Sorry to say that but it’ll bring you back to 1970’s right away, not a joke.

Only one thing positive was lady who works at the breakfast restaurant, housekeeping ladies are working hard and Gabi at the reception who are not only friendly also actually tries help. So I give this hotel one star in terms of it has at least bed & shower.

Given the star rating I was extremely pleased with the staff who was polite, available and knowledgeable, even the night staff spoke great English and had incredible patience with guest questions and tried to be as accommodating as possible. The breakfast included a wide range of products from croissants, pastries, cold cuts and vegetables and the coffee was great compared to other places.

The location is perfect, so you can easily walk to the main touristic objectives.
The rooms look exactly as pictured, however the furniture is old and the bathroom is not as clean as it should be. We could spot some mould here and there, the shower pressure was awful and we had to wait about 10 mins until the water was getting warm. Shower drain was clogged with hair and some more minuses. The staff did their best to please us and we strongly appreciated that. Overall, I would recommend this place for someone who is there for a short stay and does not expect too much from the hotel.

Perfectly fine and in a very good position.

It's not a stand out hotel but its very comfortable even though the room was a little small and there was no airconditioning and they had a hot spell of 35*. We managed. The bed was very good and they replenished the towels. There was no advice about whether to flush or stash the used toilet paper! Hotels need to say what to do! There was a good tv and fridge for keeping our things cold. We made our own breakfast and the little shop across the road had yoghurt, milk, fruit and lots of 'convenience store' items. We were a 10 minute walk from the best Italian restaurant in Suceava. We were on a main road but back a little so it was quiet enough but it also meant we didn't have to wriggle through a whole lot of the city to get out to the monasteries via the main roads. Staff were efficient and perfunctory. Wifi wasn't great.

Good base for seeing the monasteries

Rooms older than typical hotels of this size that I've stayed in, but they are pleasantly decorated and clean. I liked that I could have a cocktail / lunch in the bar and bring my laptop down and work during the day. There was a terrace too. I had a ciorba de fasole (bean soup) for lunch that was pretty good. Breakfast was extra (can't remember the price but not unreasonable), decent (hot and cold food), and convenient. Some staff were friendly, some less so. The location was convenient for me as I did the HelloBucovina tour to the painted monasteries from there, and it was the pick up point. Note for fellow solo travelers: it takes some work to join an existing group tour if you're a solo traveler. I spent three full days in Suceava, and was lucky enough to find a tour to join on the last day. The hotel won't help with this, so it's best to arrange this in advance of coming to Suceava (Axa Travel is another good option besides HelloBucovina, and they are way more responsive, though my tour with HB was very good).

Top Value in Suceava- Hotel and Trout

I’ve been Traveling in Eastern Europe for one month . Without a doubt Continental hotel in Suceava is the best value and the best hotel experience I’ve had in five countries. The service was efficient and pleasant . Even my unusual requests, like using their freezer to put my Natanael ice cream or making s manicure appointment , were met with a smile once they understood my intention. Best meal I had in Romania was a fresh trout lunch in the restaurant. The breakfast at less than five dollars was an excellent value but the trout was about the best I’ve ever tasted. That might be because it was local travel and quite fresh. If I ever return to see Suceava, I would definitely stay at the Continental. I recommend it without reservation to anyone who comes to the city. The location is great but the service and quality were hard to beat .

Very friendly staff to welcome us when we checked in. The room was spacious but there’s nowhere to hang clothes! The mattress are not very comfortable but just being ok.
The breakfast choice was horrible! Being a vegetarian, there’s not much choice other than some bread and I wouldn’t eat the dry scrambled eggs! They need to improve on the breakfast choice, otherwise all are all right.

Dependable and comfortable

This is a traditional 3* hotel. Located in the center of Suceava, within easy walking distance of important sites. The hotel is not luxurious, but it offers comfortable, dependable amenities, including toiletries, a very good bed, clean rooms, an in-room fridge (although empty, very basic minibar services available at reception). There is also a very good restaurant, with room service, up to 10 pm, and a decent breakfast, mostly cold, but with some warm options (eggs, sausages). Overall, a place where I will return, due to its dependability, location and friendliness of the staff.

Young man at front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable. The steps up to hotel entrance need to be fixed dangerour cracks in grout...be careful when walking on them.
We had no light in our hallway, so it was hard to get key in door at night - glad I had a small flashlight to light the keyhole. Very nice breakfast every morning. great central location.

A disappointment

Spartan is a nice way of describing the hotel. There was rust or mold in the shower, the drain at the bottom of the shower was partially plugged so that I was worried about water overflowing, the faucet on the bathroom sink had come loose, and during a very hot spell the hotel had no AC. A dog in the neighboring yard barked late into the night and early in the morning. Items listed on the hotel restaurant's menu were unavailable (e.g., a gin and tonic) and the food was mediocre. The hotel touts its central location in Suceava, but being in central Suceava may be a disadvantage. I stayed in this hotel several years ago and I believe its quality has deteriorated since then.

朝5:45発の電車に乗りたいのに、スチャヴァ駅から遠く（徒歩だと50分）、どうかな？と思っていました。結果的に問題ありませんでした。朝5時くらいにチェックアウトするなら、Boltを呼びますよとフロントの方もいってくださっていましたが、Boltは早朝でも走っており、アプリで頼めました。この近くがシティセンターであり、とても便利です。向かいに教会があり、早朝から開いているので、ひとりで静かになる時間も持てました。裏手にあるカフェ、Avant garde はスチャヴァでも人気のお店の用です。今回の旅行で飲んだコーヒーの中で一番美味しかったです。
