Room was clean enough but the bed wasn’t very comfy. The walls are very very thin. The lift was scattered with someone’s takeaway scraps and not cleaned. Staff were perfectly friendly and welcoming though. Location was v close to the metro so good access to the city.

Broken useless wifi, unhelpful staff

Absolutely abysmal experience. Had no internet the entire stay even though it was advertised as having it. Just like every hotel since 2005 should, never mind 2025! I brought 4 devices most of which I could not use as intended due to no connection. I paid for 7 nights in a room with internet, I did not receive that.

When you bring it up with staff they couldn't care less. They either ignore you, imply that it's your fault, or just shrug it off and don't offer to look into it all. I'm a network engineer so I know what I'm talking about when I say a network has a problem. Completely unacceptable. Stay away from this place and it's lazy and patronising staff.

Bonus problem: They're also too lazy to even check you in, they make you use a stupid wall-mounted touchscreen machine which doesn't even work right to re-enter all the same details you gave when you booked your stay. It takes a few minutes and feels like an eternity when you have to keep your arm raised high to type. Extra bonus: In the middle of entering everything it randomly just reset my progress and went back to the beginning!

Great location. Close to St Pauli station. If the Reeperbahn is your thing the thats just round the corner. Lots of bars sex shops and takeaways nearby. Hamburg is easy to get around and there is more to see than the Reeperbahn.

Room For Imrpovement

The hotel is where it claims to be... a short walk away from Reeperbahn and a short walk from Millerntor Stadium/Heiligengeistfeld.

My room was ready and was more or less what I'd expected, but the shower was very badly in need of maintenance (the shower head was not screwed on properly and many of the holes were clogged, probably with calcium deposits). There was also only one type of soap... no shampoo/conditioner/hand soap. The only bottle which had been on the sink said it was a body and hair wash combination.

Another minor grievance is that keys are not to be taken off property, which often means a bit of a wait to retrieve the key upon return... I have to imagine there's a better way, one which might reduce waits for guests and reduce stress for the desk staff. (This was particularly inconvenient when I was stuck behind someone with a booking difficulty... not the fault of the hotel, necessarily, but something that could be improved)

I was not wholeheartedly dissatisfied with my stay, as the room was clean and the location is good, and the price of a night is quite good, however, I warn fellow travelers to set expectations low to avoid disappointment.

It’s not. The bed was really uncomfortable and I had to figure out where to sleep based on the springs.
Overall, the property was fine. It’s about what you would expect for this price point, which works for a lot of people, but wonderful it is not.

They all do that in hamburg and there is no reason whatsoever to pay over 100 euros for a room that doesn’t have either refrigerator or a/c.
Im very sorry. Ppl don’t learn a thing from the coronavirus. Only how to make money and a lot ! A room without a/c or fan for over 100 euros??? Are you nuts ?? No refrigerator ?
Soon in summer what ppl will do in such a heat ? Also. I had to pay extra for breakfast. And not everything was fresh….
I really appreciate if the hotel will refund me the breakfast !

I've stayed here before and would stay here again. The location is prime, near the Reeperbahn, but also with easy access to public transport. It's also walking distance to many other great areas. The staff was professional and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. And Hamburg is always a good time.

Ideal hotel for St. Pauli

Cozy hotel in a great location in St. Pauli. Close to the action but off the beaten path enough that there is no street noise at all. The staff is friendly and professional. The room is clean and comfortable. The neighbourhood is vibrant and historic. Easy access to public transport but so many things to see and do within walking distance. I'd stay there again.

It’s not located in a family friendly place. St. Pauli was originally a red city for sailors so there are lots of bars, night clubs and stuff but not suitable for a family vacation. However the stuff was friendly and very nice.

Definitely recommend for the quieter groups

Apartment was huge and plenty of space for us all. Very clean and tidy. Staff were helpful (although one male member of staff needs to cheer up) but other than that it was perfect for our stag weekend as we’re not your normal rowdy bunch. Close to all the action on the Reeperbahn. Literally a 2 minute walk and you’re in the centre of the action.

Central and relatively quiet location despite being very close to the Reeperbahn (some noise must be expected). The room was clean and big enough. The bathroom was a bit small but functional. I love the part north of Reeperbahn, lots of cosy cafés and restuarants. Also, both the harbour and Schanzenviertel are in walking distance.

Das Hotel ist unsauber, unmodern und an allen Ecken (Flure, Zimmer, Frühstückstaum) stark renovierungsbedürftig. Wir hatten zwei Zimmer gebucht und bekamen einen kaputten Lampenschirm, dreckige, staubige Ecken und Oberflächen, einen kaputten Duschschlauch, ein Bohrloch in der Zimmertür, dünne, sehr hellhörige Wände und ein Frühstück, dass es so nicht einmal in einer Jugendherberge geben würde. Es ist einfach nur abgerockt und nicht empfehlenswert.

Es gab kein Wlan und das Fernsehprogramm war nicht gut. Aber wir wollten ja nicht im Zimmer leben, sondern eine Nacht schlafen. Insofern alles gut!

Was mir gut gefiel, ist die gute Erreichbarkeit und dass ich mein Zimmer schon vorzeitig bekam, ohne mehr zahlen zu müssen.
Was nicht ganz so schön war ist, dass die Rezeption nur über Treppen erreichbar ist, für Gäste mit viel Gepäck könnte das in Packerei ausarten, im Hotel gibt es einen Aufzug. Nicht ganz so schön war, dass ich Nachts andere Gäste hören könnte, als sie ankamen auch die Türen waren gut zu hören.

Wir wurden wegen Überbuchung in ein anderes Hotel "verlegt". Es handelte sich um eine Suite in der wir zu dritt nächtigen sollten und nicht mehr um 2 Doppelzimmer. Preislich kam man uns nicht entgegen, wir sollten genauso viel zahlen, wie für 2 Doppelzimmer. In das neue Hotel kamen wir nicht rein, hätten erst den vollen Preis zahlen müssen. Also ab ins "alte" samt Gepäck. Mit 30€ kam man uns "entgegen", der Mitarbeiter war aber sehr nett. Notgedrungen nahmen wir die Suite, also wieder zurück.
Der Eincheck lief über ein Terminal. Das klappte.
Die Suite bestand aus einem Doppelbett, einer Ausziehcoach und 2 Zustellbetten. Die Betten waren ok. Leider fehlte eine Sitzmöglichkeit und vielleichtein kleiner Tisch. Das Bad war auf den ersten Blick sehr schön und recht neu. Wenn man es pflegen würde, auch in einem guten Zustand. Leider war es nicht ganz so sauber, der Duschvorhang schimmelig, Haare in der Dusche und der Föhn funktionierte nicht.
Die Aussicht auf die Reeperbahn wäre toll, wenn man die Fenster mal putzen würde. Man konnte überhaupt nicht durch gucken. Fenster öffnen wäre natürlich möglich, aber darum ging es ja nicht.
Wir haben zwar gut geschlafen, wurden aber durch die Gespräche der Zimmernachbarn früh wach, da die Suiten lediglich durch eine Zimmertür getrennt waren. Wie sich später herausstellte, war diese Tür noch nicht einmal abgeschlossen!

Der Check-In verlief total unpersönlich über einen Automaten am Eingang. Das Bad war okay, allerdings fehlte im Waschbecken der Abflussdeckel. Der Innengriff der Duschtür war total locker. Nachts hat man komisch tiefe Geräusche gehört, die man nicht zuordnen konnte. Über das Personal kann ich nichts sagen, da ich kein Frühstück gebucht hatte und auch sonst kein Personal im Hotel angetroffen habe.

Der Chef war wirklich sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Preis Leistung ist wirklich OK auch wenn viele den schlechten Zustand kritisieren. Es ist sauber und wird täglich geputzt. Man ist direkt im Kiez wenige Minuten hinter der Reeperbahn. Check Out 12Uhr war super. JA, Zimmer sind etwas alt aber m.E. vollkommen OK. Umfangreichere Ausstattung als in vielen anderen teuren Hotels. Unsere Zimmer hinten raus waren sehr ruhig. Für einen Aufenthalt von ein paar Tagen vollkommen i.O.! Geschäftlich würde ich es nicht buchen. Frühstück haben wir nicht getestet, es gibt Möglichkeiten in der Nähe.

Perfektes Hotel um auf der Reeperbahn feiern zu gehen. Selber einchecken per Kiosk war super einfach. Fahrstuhl ist bisschen klein gehalten aber vollkommen ausreichend. Personal war super. Sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wohnbereich war sauber, Badezimmer eher altmodisch aber in Ordnung. Fenster gehen sogar komplett auf für mehr frische Luft und sind sehr dicht um kaum bis gar nichts von der Straße mitzubekommen.

Das Zimmer war ansich sauber, aber sowohl das Hotelzimmer als auch das gesamte Hotel ist schon ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Das Frühstück war lecker, aber es gab sehr wenig Auswahl.
Trotzdem für den Preis bei der guten Lage (nur ein paar Minuten Fußweg zur Reeperbahn) kann man definitiv nicht meckern. Ist aber wirklich eher was für Leute die sich die Stadt angucken wollen, und das Hotel nur als Übernachtungsmöglichkeit benötigen.

Für eine Nacht aufgrund Veranstaltung auf der Reeperbahn gebucht. Ausstattung und Zimmergröße war dafür absolut ausreichend. Hatten ein ruhiges Zimmer nach hinten raus.
Eine Matratze hatte eine ordentliche Kuhle, bei mehr als den paar Stunden Aufenthalt hätte ich um einen Wechsel gebeten.
Die Badezimmertür war bei uns von innen nur sehr lautstark zuzuziehen und die Toilettenspülung zog die ganze Zeit Wasser. Ist halt alles schon etwas älter, aber wie gesagt, für kurze Zeit absolut ok.
Die Lage ist halt top.
Wir haben länger geschlafen und das Frühstück 80 m entfernt nach dem Auschecken um 12 zu uns genommen, daher kann ich nichts zu dem im Hotel sagen.

Check in ist an einem Automaten, dort erhält man seine Zimmerkarte.
