The bed was comfy and clean, room was recently renovated and clean. Everything worked as it should, the bathroom was nice and clean. The staff were very friendly, check-in was quick. No complaints whatsoever, especially at the price point.

The first room they gave us had not been cleaned proper or dusted. There was Kleenex or toilet paper in the toilet. They gave us another room, which was slightly better, but they never clean the spills and drips on the walls or in the corners on the floor. As we got ready for bed there was no hot water in the sink tap but there was in the bathtub. Only 2 towels no face cloths. When we turned in our key all we got was, I will look into it.

Not great, but a place to sleep cheap

Older property that offers nothing fancy, but does offer a place to sleep. For the price I didn’t expect a lot and I wasn’t disappointed.
Room cleanliness was lacking but as I said before, it was a place to sleep.

Great, inexpensive motel

Towne and Country was perfect for what I needed. It was an inexpensive motel with a TV and (not so great) WiFi. The service was great and the room was clean. All of the bath towels provided, though, were disgusting and stained. I was there for less than 24 hours so I didn’t need to shower, though.

Room didn't even have a mattress, was a box spring only. No chair for desk, light bulb out in the bathroom, no side table so the phone was on the floor.
Got a full refund. Would never recommend.

Quiet place to lie your head

This first issue I has was the lack of toilet paper in the washroom. The second was the very thin pillows and uncomfortable bed. The shower doors did not close and in fact almost fell on me when I did try to close them. However the bed linens were clean, as was the rest of the room.

The room we were in had a sofa bed that had no springs! My poor granddaughter had to sleep on it! The washroom was not clean and the door to the room was under a staircase with no light bulb in the outside fixture. Rather unfortunate.

Old but Clean Motel

Windsor has become surprisingly expensive to stay in. Typical middle-of-the-road \"Quality\" hotels are about $140 a night to stay (whereas $90 in Toronto) and the other options are Casino hotels that are NOT cheap or subsidized like Vegas hotels. So all in all, for the price, this hotel was very old, and had cliche issues, like a touchy cable box that wasn't working till I fidgeted with it, and the furniture and styling is from the 80s at best. BUT, I could tell the place was really clean. I have allergies and a sensitive nose, but I felt the place was vacuumed recently and the sheets felt right out of the wash for sure and walls and fixtures were dust free.

Not bad

It's a motel. You get what you get. We brought sleeping bags which I would recommend to anyone staying. They do clean the rooms, not as well as a hotel. There was a burger in our fridge which we found very humorous.

Checked in @ 1a.m Tuesday and went out at 6a.m to get to my appointment and there was no lighting on the hall/stairway as it still pitch dark at that time. Otherwise its a good hotel for the price

needed somewhere cheap to stay

the decor is very tired and dated, after the first night sleep we went out for the day and returned in early evening to find the beds made and the room \"cleaned\" we found that our socks were sticking to the tile floor in the bathroom which my daughter and I both found to be pretty gross, at one point she dropped her phone and bent down to pick it up and after running her hands under the side of the bed to grab it her hands were almost black with dirt. I won't be staying there again

Our stay was just ok as the only comfortable thing in the room was the bed. The rug was dirty and full of stains and cigarette burns and other burns. Room looked run down. The Bathroom was dirty, grout was on tiles, and floor was not swept or washed. No coffee maker in room. Some plugs in didnt even work or broken.

The Great thing about this place is that the restaurant attached to the motel has Great Food and Great Staff.

Working Weekend

When we arrived at the motel, the staff was very polite and helpful, he answered all of my questions. They allowed me to get everything done for the check in but informed me that the maids had not cleaned my room yet and that she would be about 45 minutes and then I could go to the room. They gave me my key and allowed me to wait. The location of the motel is very close to the main highway, and was close to many amenities, including a mall. When I returned to go to my room sometime later I noticed where we put our luggage that there was a plastic syringe, that the maid had not got rid of, as well they had not vacuumed under the one bed. When I had a shower I noticed that there was mold in the grout and the shower curtain had pink stuff on it and had not been taken down and washed in awhile. On the first night we were awoken by the noisy guests in the next room a couple of times, the fridge ran noisily and the one window in the room had no screen so if we wanted to open it. The air conditioning ran fine, the bed were not on the frames properly.

It was alright but they could have done a better job of cleaning out the rooms. Hair all over the bathroom floor and red grapes on the floor in the main room isn't exactly my idea of acceptable. The airconditioner desperately needs a cleaning let alone an update. Broken knobs and so on. I wasn't going swimming but I noticed that their outdoor pool was completely green and obviously not kept up.

Convenient location. Close to everything.

Friendly and helpful staff, especially the guy who checked us in on the 21st. Very pleasant. Asked about bingo there. Looked up time and date for me. Was even going to print it off for me. Variety of items for our complimentary breakfast. Enjoyed that. Even had French vanilla creamer for my coffee. Was pleasantly surprised. Room was very neat and tidy. Only problem I found was that shower curtain would not stay up properly.

old hotel needs some impprovement

The hotel was in a good location but the grounds need care and the room were a little dirty.The room heating and a/c were out dated. The people who work there are nice they have a o.k. pool and a nice restaurant there.the bed was a little too firm. the bathroom didn't have a fan just a little window that wouldn't stay up. But the price was good.I thinc with a little work and some upgrades it would be a lot better. But overall it was o.k. for a couple nights stay.

Convenient location and good rates

At one of the few remaining \"motor hotels\" of a by-gone age, it was refreshing to find such a warm reception upon my arrival. The young chap at the front desk was expecting me, and was kind to provide me tips on local eateries, and told me that I could make long-distance calls anywhere in Canada or US at no extra charge from my room phone. My room was ready before I checked-in. I didn't take the time, as some critics do, to check for baseboard condition and cobwebs. My interests in choosing this motel were wi-fi access, refrigerator, and microwave. I had a comfortable rest overnight. The air conditioner was efficient and quiet. The location was quiet, considering that this motel is on a busy street. Bathroom was clean and the water was hot. Many channels available on the TV.

Don't do it!

Cleanliness was very poor, sanitation was terrible. Shoes were sticking to bathroom floor. Pillows were flat. Refreidgerator in room was less than cool even turned to highest setting. Had to switch rooms due to a cleaning issue. Staff was very apologetic and helpfull however we will never stay there again. Only good thing I can say is that there is a Tim Hortons across the street.

I would not stay there again. There were cobwebs in the corners, the chairs were worn to the point of holes in the fabric, the ceilings were water stained and there was only a shower no bathtub. There was not even a coffee maker in the room. The outside appearance displayed lack of care, paint peeling, general untidiness.

As always, my stay at T&C was good. Can't beat the price, really. Nothing luxurious here but the room is a comfortable size for me on my own, slept well, quiet and clean. Towels are worn, lighting is a bit dim but hardly deal breakers. And a bonus this time - early check-in with a smile!

Good Budget Hotel

I have stayed here before because I was on a budget, and it is fine for that purpose only. It badly needs updating. I know there is a pool, but I have never been able to use it at either of my stays.

The bed was falling through the frame, but with some careful TLC, I was able to get it back in and make it work fine. The bed wasn't terribly comfy, but it was comfy enough and I slept fine. I don't mind beds hard, so this one did the trick.

The TV was small and old, but worked fine once I got a working remote. The air conditioner looked old and dated, but worked like a charm. I also needed the heat during this stay (weird weather...) and it worked great too.

I want to make sure everyone knows that the staff here are VERY nice and VERY friendly. I did have a problem (my own doing by accident...) where I accidentally popped the bathroom window out of the track and couldn't get it back in. The owner of the on-site restaurant came in since he's \"handy\" and fixed it right away. When I needed more soap, they brought me more soap with a smile!

The bathroom could have used a bit of TLC -- the tub was a tad dirty in the corners, but it would need to be ripped out in order to be fixed, so nothing could really have been done about it. The walls were thin and I could hear the TV in the room next door, but they were nice people and shut it off before I was ready for bed.

This place was gross. I looked under the mattress and found a blood stain the size of a dinner plate. People in other rooms were partying all night and the walls were paper thin. I had to threaten to call the police at 3am in order to get the noise to calm down. The floor had not been vaccuumed and the bathrooom was dingy and dirty. There were cobwens im the corners of yhe ceiling. Outside my room it smelled like urin. The only upside was that the people at the front desk were friendly. I would never stay there again... If you plan on it, a fair rate would be about $30/nt.

Cheap price and close enough to downtown

The hotel needs major renovations in terms of furniture, electrical outlets and appliances- perhaps heaters that heat the room faster and doors that need realigning. However, the service is pretty good, owner and family run business with a diner located connected to the main office. It is about a 5 minute drive from downtown windsor and close to the devonshire mall. Hotel amenities such as soaps and shampoos could use some revitalizing. Rooms are clean but carpets need to be changed and better lighting and faster internet.

There was a suspicious looking bug in the bathroom and I was pretty much deathly afraid of bringing home bed-bugs with me so I left all my clothes in the car. Since we were staying for New Years Eve we were barely going to be in the hotel at all so we stuck it out, but it was very dirty and smelled pretty terrible. The front desk was nice though and was very prompt when we asked them to call cabs for us a few times. If you are going to any bar on Ouellette I would recommend staying somewhere closer because the cab fare was a bit much to go back and forth.

Definitely an economy motel

Room was clean, but very dated...old furniture with many chips/dents, old bathroom fixtures, bathroom door was chipped and cracked, water stains on bottom of bathroom sink cabinet, etc. The room was overall clean, but the mattress on the bed was very uncomfortable...neither my wife or I slept well. Only complaint about service was that the room had no heat turned on when we arrived (was -10 degrees Celsius outside)...took an hour or so to warm up. We booked it for the price, so I can't really complain, but probably would pay an extra $10/night to stay somewhere else next time.

Good and Quick service.

Was great for 5 nights. The rooms are small size, older TV. Telephone Free for CA and US great point. Restaurant not a gourmet is better in front the Hotel :). For the price is fine. Overall is fine. I can back :)
