No nightstands, no sheets only two pillows only two towels limited toilet paper not a very good experience will not be back. Check-in was impossible, and the bed was very uncomfortable. Wi-Fi was not working very well. Was not able to even watch any TV kept going in and out will not be back. I would not recommend this place for anybody that I know anyway might’ve saved $20 a night but I regret doing it.

A practical hotel with cosy rooms with all the amenities wrapped around the room. Location is just outside the metro station underpass and very near to a big shopping district. There are lot of ethnic and local restaurants nearby.

The only thing that I didn’t like is that there’s a lack of instructions for checking in and checking out. Room had weird smell.
Contacting room service was difficult.
Coffee machine was not connected to any electric point.
Only see through sheer curtains. Woke up at 5:30am due to sunlight in the room.
Could clearly hear a lot of street noises even after locking all windows.
The only saving grace was that the room was on the 6th floor with a nice view. The Junior suite is spacious and very easy to open 2 large size bags in the room.

Hotel is convenient for wandering around Old Town. It's right across the street. Check-in was a little painful. They give you a QR code, but there's no place to scan it, so you have to dig in your email for your reservation code to put into the computer. The room was clean. We had a quadruple room, which had two queen beds and a bathroom with shower. Plenty of places to plug stuff in, but need an adapter for american plugs. The breakfast snacks were good, but you need to get there early. I got there right at 7 am, and there were two chinese women taking copious amounts of everthing. I elbowed my way in, and grabbed a few things for my family, but I'm guessing those two women emptied everything out a few minutes later. Checkout was weird, in that it wouldn't let me check out when we were leaving. It said my checkout time hadn't been reached. We had an early train to catch, so I just left. A few hours later, at the airport, I got an email saying I could check out, so I clicked the link and did it then.

Call me old fashioned, but I think it’s helpful to have a staffed hotel, rather than one that relies on internet booking, check-in, and servicing exclusively. The room they marketed as a triple was quite small, (probably okay for parents with a little kid), so we ended up booking a second room, which we did via the internet after our initial check in. It was not a huge hassle, but it would have been easier if we could have gone to the front desk to accomplish the task.
***Ask for a quiet room toward the rear of the hotel. The street noise from the tram was quite noticeable.

It was ok for the price. W head hopes to drop our luggage off while we waited for our room to be ready but no one was working..there was only a kiosk to check in. So we had to carry our luggage with us for the day. The room was basics which was all we needed, but it was HOT! The ac seemed to work at times but we spent most of the night very hot. We would not stay here again

I’ve stayed twice and have been happy each time with the service and location. If you’re looking for elevated amenities this isn’t your hotel but this hotel is wonderful and great value

Very helpful staff, however you will need to check-in online before arrival to begin the process. “Hotel” is very utilitarian and simple. It consists of three floors of a five story building. No amenities though they do offer pretzels and baked goods on at the check in area. Location on the S Bahn line is convenient. Was literally feet from where we met our bus for a tour. Simple and small. Bed was hard!

Clean room, private toilet room, spacious, beds a bit hard, with lots of outlets nighstand (adapter needed), air conditioner not working or I think it wasn't on during spring time (had to open windows), only issue (elevator) only 1 & fits 2 people max, for bldg entry (press hotel’s name + pull door), easy check in & at the Center of Munich (accesible to all public transport & tours buses. Definitely recommend for a quick 2-3-night stay.

The hotel rooms are perfect size for me and my son. I love the waterfall shower head! I did not like I couldnt control the AC. It got quite hot when sleeping. So we opened our windows. The pillows are also awful it’s like sleeping on 5 feathers. Location was great! Near everything we wanted.

Room smelled, especially the bathroom (lole mold). The pull out couch looked filthy. Not sure if all.rooms faced the street but it was loud all night. The location in terms of proximity was pretty good but the general location was slightly sketchy. And DO NOT park in their garage if your car is any bigger than a compact car!!!! Lots of yelling getting in and out. I will say the staff was very kind and helpful and free decent pastries for breakfast was a plus.

Parking is absolutely horrible. You are not permitted to park before check in. The only option is to either park illegally, or have someone with you to check in and get the room card which is used for the parking as well.

Leaving the garage is even worse as you have to go through a very tight passage, then up a tight turning ramp. Once at the top you have to leave your car, open the garage door, then move your car out, park it again, get out and close the garage.

This alone ruined the stay for me, but on top of this the thermostat in the room kept turning off. It would hit for example 23c once, shut off, and never maintain that temperature which causes waking up in the night cold.

I stayed at Buddy Hotel Munich for five nights and overall had a decent experience. Check‑in was efficient, and the receptionist provided all the information I needed, though his manner felt quite cold and not very welcoming.

The room itself was clean, modern, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay — a good bed, a coffee machine, and an excellent shower. For the first four nights it was very peaceful, and I genuinely thought the rooms were soundproof. Unfortunately, on my last night I had a very noisy neighbour, and I could hear them snoring through the wall, which affected the final impression a bit.

The area immediately outside the hotel felt a little dodgy at times, so it’s worth being aware of your surroundings, especially in the evenings. That said, the location is extremely convenient: plenty of supermarkets, shops, and places to eat nearby, and very close to stations for airport transfers and day trips around Munich.

Overall, it was a comfortable and practical base for exploring the city, with just a couple of things that could be improved.

Room was amazing! It's super small and cozy, but all made to take advantage of the small space. You don't have a lot of room, but everything is so strategically placed, that is very cozy! I loved being there! Staff was super friendly, and location is great, right in the middle of everything, and super close to the subway.
I was very impressed and even got a few ideas to optimize my house!

Perfect location - just 15mins walk from main attractions, and 5mins walk from Hauptbahnof. Rooms are clean, nice snacks to grab for breakfast. Air conditioning is good, coffee machine was working ok. The only issue was that room was small but thats fine if you came fot active travel, and not planning to spend most of your time in hotel. Overall was perfevt for this price and location, recommending to book.

The check in and check out is Ultra fast. The location is excellent. Hotel is very clean and the rooms are brilliantly furnished. But the autopark situation is awful. It says there is autopark but never available for two days. I paid 45E Euros per day for Autoparking outside in Parkhaus. If you have a car, i don't reccommend. But if you are without car, this is an excellent hotel which i will be revisiting again.

Very well situated. If you ever want to do one of those day trip, the bus station is directly in front of the door. Marienplatz is about 7 min of walk on across the streets. Subway and tram station at the door step too. The room was clean and yes, small, but that fact was already clear when I booked the hotel. The two small downfalls are: a) there is no mini fridg in the room, which makes it hard to do a small grocery if you stay for many days like I did, and b) my shower was kind of a design nightmare. I had to either turn on the faucet, splash some water outside the shower and on the exterior of the shower door while it warms up (and it can take a while depending of how many guests used the warm water... I had to crank mine to 100% hot water) or cramp myself in the opposite corner of the shower, get splashed by cold water, but have the door close. Basically, the shower door opens on the inside instead of the outside which would be logical for such a small place. Would still recommend.

Check in time was very strict despite the room availability. Early access costs 20 Euros. Central air conditioning was 30C in October ( pretty hot).
Reception staff were generally friendly except one who was very strict and unfriendly on most occasions. Access to the room was cancelled early on the morning of our last day even before checkout.
Bathroom shutter was not working for the length of our stay. Morning snacks were very nice and delicious.

Right beside the train station! Some of the reviews had me worried this was going to have a hostel vibe, but I thought it was lovely. Clean, new facilities. Some reviews said the rooms were too small: Book a Marriott if that's what you're looking for. We came from a bunch of boutique hotels in Italy before our stop in Munich and I can safely say our Double Room here was the biggest hotel we stayed in on this trip. Service staff were so lovely.

The hotel has a central location, close to Karlsplatz metro station with a direct S8 link from the airport. The staff were efficient in dealing with my luggage locker request (2 euros, secure room in the basement, reached by a lift). Helpful was the grab-and-go breakfast and free coffee pods. The room was small but well equipped with wifi, hair dryer, TV. But my concern is the noise coming from the homeless vagrants who either sleep in doorways (including this hotel's) and the long-closed department store next door. This issue should be looked into by the hotel owners with the authorities.
