Beautiful oceanfront property with amazing views. The room was clean, staff was welcoming, and the atmosphere felt peaceful and relaxing. Perfect place to enjoy the natural beauty of Key West. I loved capturing the scenery and tropical surroundings during my stay.

All was great staff, room cleanliness. But one thing we were very disappointed in was the fact that one of our beach days we did not have a beach chair!! So disappointing for the price we pay that you don’t have enough beach chairs and we had to sit on the ground.

We did not get room we paid for which was ocean view , they gave us lame excuse and put us in a room which had parking lot view. They said next day we will give it to you , it didn’t happen. Room we got had stains on bedsheets and comforter. Phone didn’t work in room , had to go stand in a-line for 20 minutes just to talk to customer service . Entrance door to room had to be pushed in hard to open or close as it was jammed, asked them to fix it or change room . Nothing worked. Very disappointed.

We paid over 3K a night for a walkout suite to the “private beach”. In the pictures it shows lounge chairs along the beach. You would think these lounge chairs are designated to the suite, wrong. We weren’t able to sit along the beach due to people from all around taking them. Spoke to management and was informed that those were first come, first serve. What? These suites are super expensive and I booked them thinking we would have these benefits included. We had an awful experience with the bartender, very rude and condescending. We had to up and leave, go back to the room and order room service. I would not recommend the suites. Just get a normal room.

Due to weather room temperature very cold, Hotel don’t have any system to change it. I called front desk of the hotel, staff and manager said they can’t do anything for that. Me and wife get sick with the cold. We can’t sleep both night. Only the time we can sleep in the day. I complained to the manager she said they talked to their technician but they can’t do anything. I booked ocean view room but I get the view of bar in between. Towel in my room was old and hard. No hair conditioner in the shower after two time complaint then I received the conditioner. Staff was not cooperative. They trying to give me free parking. I chose best hotel for my vacation but didn’t enjoy my vacation at all. I demand my money back. Me and wife both sick with cold. Manager told me she can’t do anything because I booked with Expedia. I officially registered complaint in their system. You can call them to confirm.

The room was cleaned everyday and in general staff was great. However this is not a 5 star facility, it is a 2 star at best. When they did the remodel they did the big stuff. But the attention to detail is lacking. Walls and woodwork are chipped paint and dirty. On day one the shower handle came off in my hand, the hairdryer was broken, The frame around the frig was broken, when we called guest services, we got VM instead of a person. At over $500 per day, this is not 5 star performance. This location is exploiting the private beach, charging high prices and not delivering the stated value. Last year the Hilton's CEO was over $40m and at this level of performance should not even have the job. I have over 1.5 million air travel miles and have stayed over 1,000 nights in hotels/motels in 35 countries. This was the most expensive and worst one I have ever been in. Sorry, but that is my opinion.

Live music every day. Easy to find quiet places to sit and read or stay by the pool or on the veranda.

The staff is attentive, but not intrusive. The hotel is fully staffed and secured in all areas. Our room was thoroughly cleaned each day by the same person and the staff was super accommodating.

Our waterfront view was amazing and our king-sized bed was comfy. The room seemed large and had been recently remodeled. The balcony was spacious enough for a cocktail table and two chairs. The resort is quiet in the evenings and mornings. The grounds are just the right size to provide variety. Casa Marina is a popular wedding and business meeting site. We enjoyed the buzz. It does not feel crowded. Family oriented.

We had excellent pastries in the little store each morning with our coffee from the room.

The front desk personnel and door men were kind and helpful.

We walked into the Old Town area once or twice a day or took cheap uber rides. It is safe and clean on side streets and the hotel was built on a private beach in a beautiful area. The hotel offers a wide variety of restaurants nearby. We visited many museums. This historic hotel is similar to The Breakers.

My husband worked out in the gym. I did yoga.

The “Key West View” overlooked abandoned run down buildings.

The ice machine on our floor was broken the entire week of our stay.

The elevator to our floor was broken for the entire week of stay.

The interior door handle of our bathroom was broken for the entire length of our stay resulting in my son getting trapped in the bathroom.

For a “resort” there were no amenities aside from beach towels and basic plastic chairs to layout on.

Downside is bathroom was tiny for a resort of this stature and the location requires a 20 nite walk to the heart of Duval Street

To get to my room, we had to use a filthy, slow elevator which was frequently used by the housekeeping staff. To get around that, we had to use an equally filthy staircase that needed a cleanjng and a painting. Tables in the lobby were dirty too. Finally, the place didnt have irons available, but steamers. There is no way a steamer will have the same result as an iron on a men's dress shirt.

The room was clean but the toilet in the bathroom ran non stop , the housecleaning wasn’t done daily but they did bring us towels and water upon our request. We love to walk but it is a distance to walk to duval and back and parking a car would have been $40 a day. Overall a positive experience

The Casa Marina is a very nice resort with 2 pools and a nice beach. Our accommodations were nice...our balcony view was obstructed and they do no not have any charging ports in the suites and limited outlets. The staff was extremely kind. Our only deal-breaking issue is the cost. It is terribly expensive with a $60/day resort fee. Even as Hilton Diamond members we had to book through Expedia to get a price that was somewhat affordable. Hilton members should get the very best rates....NOT so with this property. Food and drinks at the resort are also extraordinarily high.

We had a good rooms and clean they were perfect, but what did not like is Hilton charging us$75 per day per room extra to get us the ocean view room, even though we had booked ocean view room, they gave us a partial ocean view room with facing road more, when we talk to them them they asked us $75 per room to give us proper ocean view room,
Which we did pay for 2 nights we stayed there for 2 rooms. Which costed us $300 more

I considered giving this 4 night stay at the Casa Marina a “3” which was considered “Average” but honestly, I would have much rather stayed in an “Average” Hotel over the Casa Marina.
The best thing that this hotel has to offer is housekeeping. Seriously, they were the best!
Upon check-in, I was handed a small card that shows a street map, where the adult pool is, where the family pool is, and where their sister property “The Reach” is. Other than that, it was like pulling teeth getting any help or info out of them. They didn’t advise on how to utilize the amenities listed on their site and there was no one to ask for help ever. From the time we arrived there was a wedding going on, every. single. night. So we had to walk through weddings and receptions, just to get to our room, awkward!
The elevators either didn’t work, or took 8-10 minutes to arrive(sketch)
Security is lacking, at any point in time, anyone off the street could have walked in at the end entrances (no key card needed) and made their way to do whatever. The shower seals leaked all over the bathroom floor so we were forced to ask for extra towels daily, and most of the time had to walk to the front desk because our room phone didn’t work and they refused to fix it (from day 1.) The place is ascetically pleasing, but that’s about it. Save your money, go walk through the hotel, buy a drink, crash a strangers wedding, but definitely not worth it to stay there.

The hotel is absolutely stunning and the room was excellent—beautiful, comfortable, and spotless. However, during our stay the main elevator was out of service, and the remaining elevator was extremely slow. We ended up using the stairs multiple times, and unfortunately they were not well maintained. It definitely took away from an otherwise great experience.
If the elevator and stairway issues get resolved, this would easily be a top-tier stay.
