A Nice Stay

After missing the last bus and a 30+ minute walk from the station, relaxing a hotel never felt so good. In terms of design, it looked like an older hotel. It was clean and suited my needs. I booked a non-smoking room and the staff did their best to get rid of the smoke smell. However, it was still there after my last night but it didn’t bother me.

Although it is not the most luxurious and well-equipped hotel in town, you will feel cozy and warm inside. The internet is super fast. You log in to the internet through the TV, what an advanced technological arrangement. The restaurant is on 10/F, where you'll take your breakfast. The outlook is spectacular. In 6-minute walk, you'll get to the 24-hour Maxvalu Supermarket. So convenient. Another plus: there is mini bus just outside the entrance directly to Aso KMJ Airport.

Basic comfort

Pretty basic hotel. There was nothing wrong with the room, other than it could use an update. The carpets are worn and stained. The bathroom could use a deep cleaning. The room was small but typical of inexpensive Japanese hotels. It had a nice breakfast and the staff did their best to be helpful.

ホテルは老舗でツインの部屋はセミダブルをシングルベッド2台置き、無理やりツインにした感じで狭く設備も古いが綺麗に清掃され気持ち良く滞在。
朝食の対応が悪く(人手不足)、おかずの品切れで出て来るのを待っていた。

洗面台の蛇口など、建物自体は古さを否定出来ませんが、スタッフさんの対応やアメニティは充分満足できました。
到着が遅くなったせいで駐車場の空きが無かったのですが、ホテルの前の空きスペースに置かせてもらえたので有料駐車場を使わずに済みました。
1Fにお茶、紅茶、コーヒー、ゆず茶が飲める機械が設置されて自由に飲むことが出来ました。
宿泊料金を考えると非常に満足できました。

近くの駐車場は1日1,000円弱で止めることができるので、停めれなくなることはないです。フロントスタッフは今ひとつでした。

予約時点で見たネットの写真と実物の部屋が違いすぎて最悪でした。
部屋は全体的に暗く、間接照明しか見当たらなく、まさかこんなに暗いわけないと思い、フロントに連絡したら照明はそれだけと。
トイレの便座は座ったら右側に傾きます。
シティビューと、書いてありましたが、カーテンを開けると湿気とカビで外は見えません。
劣化が激しく、何のためかわからないクローゼット？？収納が余計にお化け屋敷のようで。
ソファーや椅子も画像の物とはちがい、昔の豪華な部屋にありそうなデザインで余計にお化け屋敷みたいで、子ども達が怖がって大変でした。大人の私も怖かったです。
カビとホコリで久しぶりに喘息がでました。

ビジネスで宿泊しました。大切な会合があるので、ズボンをプレスしようと思い、貸し出しを依頼したところ、あいにく在庫がないとのこと。因みに何台ご用意あるのか尋ねたところ１台しかないとのことでした。部屋数 100を超えるホテルとしては明らかに不足していると思います。
