Absolutely disgusting experience. The room was poorly maintained, with rust everywhere, a leaking refrigerator, and dusty, rusty air vents. It felt dirty and neglected from the moment we walked in.
The in-room safe locker was also not working.

Customer service was equally disappointing. Communication was difficult because staff had trouble speaking English, and our concerns were not handled professionally. This was by far one of the worst accommodations I have ever experienced. I would not recommend staying here.

There was no service in our room, the WiFi didn’t work, and there was very little communication from the host throughout our stay. My kids were extremely frustrated. There also were not enough towels and washcloths provided for our group. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Para comenzar, considero que hay varias áreas de oportunidad en cuanto a la organización y el servicio. Da la impresión de que trabajan con terceras compañías, lo cual quizá influye en la experiencia general. Algunas personas del staff parecían poco amables y, en ocasiones, incómodas al responder preguntas, lo que hizo que la atención se sintiera poco acogedora.
Además, los elevadores “inteligentes” tardaban bastante tanto para subir como para bajar. Entiendo perfectamente que el hotel recibe muchos huéspedes, pero la actitud y la calidad del servicio hacen una gran diferencia en la experiencia.
Sin mencionar que el horario es de oficina de 9am a 5pm y si necesitas algo en fin de semana olvidalo porque se encuentran trabajando,dejan 2 toallas para un apartamento de 3 personas y si corres con suerte te llevan 2 adicionales, ninguna persona se acerco a hacer servicio.. entiendo si hay que pagar por ello pero tambien seria agradable que te lo dejaran saber..
También, el servicio de valet parking tomó más de 30 minutos, lo cual resultó inconveniente.
El hotel tiene una excelente ubicación y mucho potencial, por lo que sería muy positivo que realizaran mejoras en la organización, tiempos de servicio y atención al cliente para que la experiencia esté al nivel de sus instalaciones.

Un desastre total, en primer lugar el proceso de check in fue totalmente caotico, con personal que no solo no hablaba español en miami (insolito) sino que ademas no entendia ingles tampoco porque estuvimos 2 hs para hacerle entender que teniamos 2 habitaciones y nos puso a los 5 en una sola. Luego cada vez que se pedia el auto al valet era esperar 30 min para que llegue y al devolverlo llegamos esperar 1 hs con filas interminables (no tienen la cantidad de gente adecuada) el hotel muy viejo, no andan los ascensores, olores tremendos, la verdad fue lo peor en hoteleria que pude experimentar en mi vida.

Absolutely Disgusting. Do NOT Book.I am writing this review to warn others about our horrible experience at the New Point Miami Hotel. We arrived to a room that was shockingly unclean and far below any reasonable standard for the price we paid. From the moment we walked in, it was clear the room had not been properly cleaned. The refrigerator was filthy, the toilet had not been sanitized and had a strong unpleasant odor, and the towels looked like they had already been used ; complete with visible stains. One of the quilts had sticky stains all over it, making it completely unusable. There weren’t even enough towels for the three guests on our reservation, and despite being a beachfront property, no beach towels were provided at all. To make matters worse, both the kitchen sink and bathroom sink were completely clogged. We even found a large plunger stored inside one of the bathroom drawers; something that should never be left for guests to discover. Later we also noticed additional stains on the bed sheets and pillowcases, and we weren’t given enough toilet paper for our entire stay. On top of the filthy conditions, we had to deal with excessive noise from the neighboring room that ruined any chance of relaxing. The room looked nothing like the photos advertised online and was nowhere near the quality we expected. This was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

Cons: really old, rooms need an upgrade. Our ac was leaking water. The bathroom tile grout was super grimy. Check in was long and tedious had to wait in two separate lines. The valet experience was horrible. Extremely long wait times call ahead to have your car ready. Should Use the money from the gaudy chandeliers in the lobby to give their rooms a major upgrade!!

The valet parking is very convenient, but a quick tip for future guests: make sure to plan ahead and request your car early if you're leaving during rush hour, as it can get busy.
The hotel features a large, clean, and heated pool right by the beach, which was fantastic. There is also a sauna available for an additional fee. We had some minor issues with the key cards, but the staff was helpful and resolved the problem quite quickly

The pictures are much more nice than the room we were given. Great area but the room was outdated and run down. It had been spot cleaned with fresh linens. There were splatters of something in the kitchen area and the bathroom faucet was dirty. The hallway looked as if it hadn’t been vacuumed in a week. The front desk staff looked completely annoyed with each guest as the lines get extremely long. There is complimentary valet and they tell you to call ahead for your car however no one answers the phone and the process to retrieve your vehicle is not organized and people were waiting 30-40 minutes for their vehicle. The poolside bar only serves select liquor which has a low alcohol content. Security monitors how much sand you have on you before entering the building as there is no sand allowed upon entering from the beach. The beach view was great but the windows didn’t open. The bed was comfortable and we slept well.

The room we booked with kitchen but the given was a small studio room, very old looks like and dirty. No staff was available and taking responsibility to find another room as we booked with kitchen. We were traveling with small kids and faced challenges for food. Not a good experience at property. Requesting Expedia to look in to it and compensate us asap. Thank you.

Paid for late checkout due to not being able to check into our other hotel until later and 3 staff were outside our door during our paid time waiting for us to leave even though we had at least 30 minutes left until our checkout. Reached out to host to see if they would try to make amends and they never responded. Trip insurance didn’t help either as “dirty” rooms apparently were not covered.

The room literally had mold on the walls and in the bathroom. Missing light fixtures, dirty towels etc. it was so gross, and so difficult to breathe inside the room that we cut our three-day stay to just a few hours and checked out immediately. Expedia helped us get a refund for the last 2 days, but the hotel refused to refund the first. Would not recommend to anyone under any circumstances.

From the beginning..
When arrived at the hotel we were early and told to put our bags in the hold room. It’s $5 per suitcase, our clothes and cases smelt of food as they cook in there.

The room we was given, the floors were separating and rotting, the bed sheets were stained ( I had them changed) but no one came till 11am the next day, We came back from dinner one evening and the room smelt of poison the only way I could describe was like very bad paint stripper. Both myself and my 8 year old son have low immune systems there was no way I could have stayed in that room! It was awful!

We then moved rooms that evening.. the new room had disgusting bed sheets, hairs in the shower and on the bed, broken doors, broken shower head and had cockroaches living behind the Tv in the drawers they were on. I also made a complaint again.

The security staff are really nice! Other than that this is THE WORST hotel I have ever stayed in!! And I travel a lot!

The hotel rooms are managed by different people and some rooms are kept well these two were not.. these rooms are rented out for money not for purpose or consideration for a guest.

The hotel staff don’t care, probably because they deal with so many people daily.

My experience was awful. I would never recommend to stay here!

We got a very good deal and the apartment style hotel is excellent. Sea facing room, easy beach access, nice large pool, grocery store in the basement which is open 8am-10pm, free valet parking. Then you can take free bus provided by Miami city and access most of the north/south beaches, downtown, airport. We really enjoyed our stay and I will recommend our friends who are looking for a budget friendly accomodation.

I’m never one to complain but this was by far the worse experience I’ve had at a hotel. My Ac was not working & other little problems we were having such aa our toilet not flushing the front desk was not able to put us in another room. I was told to contact the Host through a Whatssup app (keep in mind I booked with Expedia) but apparently most room here at the facility run through 3rd party companies which is fine if we were able to get in contact with them. A whole day calling & sending messaging regarding my concerns & never received a response till the following day in the afternoon. Front desk where I first checked in before having to walk somewhere else to get my room key couldn’t help with any of my problems. It was so frustrating to hear they wouldn’t be able to help me after I waited almost 20 minutes in line for my turn to speak to from desk. Only 1 person working the check in desk at 4/5ish in the afternoon. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

En general mi estadía fue buena. Lo que más destaco es la vista de la habitación, realmente lo mejor de todo. Como punto a mejorar, las ventanas no se pueden abrir, por lo que no hay circulación de aire.
La ubicación, es excelente, con acceso muy fácil a la playa. El gimnasio está completo y bien equipado.

El área de la piscina no me resultó muy confortable: suele haber bastante ruido y las reposeras no son cómodas.

El lobby algo antiguo y, debido a la gran cantidad de huéspedes, hay bastante control: se utiliza una pulsera todo el día para poder acceder a la piscina u otras áreas del hotel.

En resumen, buena ubicación y vista, pero con detalles que podrían mejorar para una mejor experiencia .

My husband and I stayed one night here. Pulling in was kinda crazy we waited 45mins to get to the front to the valet. When you first walk in it very pretty. The check in was kinda crazy it tells you go to the left to check in with the office in front of the elevators. But when we went to that office, they told us that we had to do the main check-in then we had to go to them. After we do that, we finally got up to the room. The room was outdated and needs some repairs and smelt like they just poured fabuloso all over the place it was very strong. The view was absolutely fantastic and the pool was large and very clean. The WiFi wouldn’t work and tv would go in out a lot. I have a lot of mixed emotions about the stay.

Bedroom was clean But everything in there was old , spotty, not maintained at all. The Bathroom on the other hand looked like it was from a horror movie - dry dirty sports, rusty, didn’t drain well… absolutely disgusting. There wasn’t anything close to the kitchen- just an old refrigerator and dirty, peeled counter top. If you call this “refurbished” , you need to rethink! Parking service was too slow because they have less people than the floors of the parking and you need to wait 20-30min before actually get your car…

It is good if you stop for one night only and you are out the next morning.

We received not one but two knocks on our door from cleaning before our check out time. I even heard one of them talking about how we have to check out but we were still sleeping. The tv didn’t work and I went to the front desk but I had to deal with the owner and his hours were 9-5. So my entire stay I had no tv. The beach had no chairs or umbrellas. The room was old and worn. The bathroom and kitchen area were old and dated. I liked the free parking even though you have to wait 30 minutes for your car. If you’re on a limited budget with a lot of kids this is your spot. I wouldn’t do it again.

This is not a hotel. More like a dirty serviced apartment. Someone came into the property to use the toilet for a number 2 while we were out. We booked it for 3 nights but after that experience we checked out after the first night. The apartment is so outdated with brown bathrooms. This should not be used as a serviced accommodation. Everywhere smells. To be honest it is really bad.
