Fantastic place. Right on water with all rooms on/facing beach which is on small cove with jacks and boast as well as direct access to glass bottom boat rides (for hire) right across bay from Little Tobago and Goat Islands. Staff are really wonderful- from front desk to bar and restaurant to housekeeping and pool as beach maintenance. Food was great and it felt comfortable and like I was at home and not a hotel. A wonderful experience for my week stay.

The Blue Waters Inn appears to very a great location. Boy where we fooled. Absolutely dry and boring. Nothing to intise constomers to return or refer. The only day I requested special decor & made reservations 2 days in advance for a birthday dinner where left completely disregarded. Furthermore the menu for the Aqua restaurant was basically non existent, & what was ordered was too salty and lacking any real flavor.

Could improve on service, long wait times for menus, taking orders, meals brought to table. Communication issues between staff & management, for example new options offered to guests but staff not correctly informed, or guidelines not updated, caused guest to be billed for items already paid for. Everything corrected after guest complained to front office, but a hassle to deal with. Overall a pleasant stay.

This hotel is a hidden oasis. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in celebration of his birthday. We were pleasantly surprised to find thoughtful birthday decorations in our room upon arrival, thanks to the wonderful staff. Our room was so close to the beach and the restaurant over looked the water and the food and prices was not too bad. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Even the Sea weed which took over the shore line did not hamper my enjoyment of the beautiful sun-kissed water. If you drive I recommend you bring or rent a car in order to .get around - it will cost less than having to depend on taxi services.

Overall I enjoyed my stay. The inn is right on a beautiful beach and you can hear the waves crashing 24 hours a day. The staff is pleasant and helpful, but they are sticklers for timeliness and policy, so make sure you know things like what times you can go to the restaurant and when you have to check out. There really isn't any service on the beach itself so we had to find and position our own beach loungers, pull down the kayak and go to the bar for drinks. There was also no phone in the room so we had to walk to the front desk with any questions and room service isn't an option. Be aware there are loud birds on property so be prepared with some ear plugs. The property is a little dated but still beautiful and serene, the pool and hot tub are nice and were never crowded. The menu options had variety and everyone appeared to enjoy their meals. I would definitely visit again.

Blue Waters Inn has become one of our favorite places in the world.
From the lovely Chelsea welcoming us and making sure our accommodation was correct. The friendly and courteous hospitality of the restaurant staff. The chef’s amazing curry chicken with tomato and eggplant chops with paratha roti!
The serenity of the surroundings! The warmth and humility of the local residents. We got a flat tire when we were a few minutes away and received almost immediate assistance and a ride to the resort.
We travel extensively and Tobago always captures my heart each visit! Blue Waters and Speyside are truly a Gem!
We didn’t want to leave! Breakfast options are delicious! Try the Coconut Bake and Saltfish to get a real taste of local cuisine.
Watching the Hummingbirds come to join in for breakfast is a treat.
The infinity Pool and Jacuzzi are a wonderful compliment to the beach.
Kayaking and Paddleboating are a fun way to enjoy the water as well.
A truly beautiful and enjoyable experience!
We definitely will be back!

We arrived at the property and our room had been overbooked. The receptionist surprised us with a HUGE complimentary upgrade to the most expensive bungalow in the resort. The rooms were super clean, staff was fantastic and the food was delicious! The beach and resort was the definition of romantic and can’t wait to go back!

You can't beat the location! This side of the island is so picturesque. Being right on the ocean front is amazing. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean is so relaxing. I would say however that the property could use a bit of an upgrade and better maintenance. We stayed in room 32 and the door lock was a bit tough to get open especially when trying to juggle my baby, bags and trying to open the door. We used the games room and all of the games were either broken or pieces missing. During our stay there was seaweed on the beach which wasn't ideal but I know isn't something that can't be controlled. However, we stayed for 3 days 2 nights and it's only on the day we were checking out we noticed a maintenance crew on the beach removing the seaweed. I wished that this was done on a daily basis so we cud have enjoyed the beach a bit more. I must say however that the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

It's the perfect getaway location, surrounded by nature. Very tranquil. I would definitely visit again, because I'd have an idea of what to expect.

The room was dated and the hotel surrounding is not up-kept, seems like there is minimum staff which affected the service received. It was not very clean. The standard rooms are exceedingly small and no TV. WIFI provided is very slow and kept on dropping. I did not notice any security at the boot upon entry or at the hotel. Food menus are very limited.

Love the location. menu needs a bit of an upgrade in terms of its fresh grilled fish and seafood dishes but more than adequate. There are some minor maintenance issues with blinds, toilets. There is no daily cleaning due to the pandemic but the staff gave me a mop and broom to do the floors so no biggie. The rooms are beautifully furnished the outside with recliners and our own dining table and chairs. Very Peaceful. Big Plus Gemma's Treehouse restaurant who deliver to the hotel.

My stay here was disappointing. It was the 5th time i stayed at this hotel. The grounds and ammenities were up to par however we did not receive the benefits mentioned- free bottle of wine and welcome drinks. In addition, the restaurant's food, drinks and service were very disappointing. I've enjoyed the meals here previously. Their dinner and breakfast was by far, one of the best on the island. However, sad to say, their standards seemed to have dropped immensely.

Location- remote gem. About an hour drive from scarborough. Lovely beach and scenery. Hotel spans an entire bay. Great views from restaurant, beachfront rooms. Food options were limited but tasted good.

The property however was very run down. Jetty is in shambles with alot of loose boards, lack in cleaning upkeep. We had to ask on day 3 for housekeeping to tidy our room for the first time since check in because it was not done since. Our toiletries would not have been replaced had we not asked. Porch was filthy. Lock in room door was old and worn out. Tv in room did not work.

This place has so much potential but seems to be neglected. Given the great reviews seen in the past i was very disappointed.

This place was absolutely amazing! The staff was more then friendly they felt like family. Made us feel so good about our stay. The weather was not so good during our stay it was rainy but it was such and amazing atmosphere that we didn’t care about the rain. The food was ssssooooo delicious and the options were great to choose from. The pool was beautiful the ocean was beautiful the entire place was beautiful. The guys who took us on the glass bottom boat were so nice we went snorkeling and it was so much fun. There were so many fun activities to do. We are definitely returning to Blue waters inn.

Our booking showed a beachfront room but on arrival the room was up a flight of stairs with a beachfront view from the balcony.
My husband uses a cane so this was not acceptable for us, we did get moved to a beachfront room after two days but we had to pay 50% extra to do this.
The stay was great after the move!

The Blue Waters Inn is set in a beautiful private alcove in a stunning location with a lot of privacy on a secluded part of Tobago. The beach is very private and great for swimming, there is a long boat dock you can walk on or dive off and the pool and restaurant/bar location are top notch. However, for the price, the room is very basic, the food mediocre, the service underwhelming. In addition, the pool closes too early and the hotel charges for early check in. Tobago doesn't have many high end options so this is probably the best you're gonna get but don't expect that this hotel will match similarly priced hotels in other locations.

Great location, on the beach, with the Little Tobago boats onsite. Lots of birds walking around to amuse the guests. However the service was less than stellar, with rooms not overly clean or serviced early. Meals took forever, with 1-2 hour wait for an entree common. At the time of our visit we were told the owners were on site and it seemed the focus was on making them happy to the detriment of the guests.

The property is in a remote part of the island and takes around 1.5 hours to get there from the airport. If you opt to drive be very careful on the roads as it becomes very steep and winding at points. If you are being driven then enjoy the scenery! The hotel itself is gorgeous and well worth the drive to get there! You can tell that the owner/s take great pride in the establishment and it shows. Pool and surroundings always clean and exactly what you see in the pictures. The pride resonates with staff as well. The only thing I would change is the road leading from security at top of hill to hotel at the bottom. Needs a bit of TLC. I don't recommend full paving as it may encourage errant driving (on a very treacherous path that cannot comfortably accommodate 2 vehicles going in the opposite direction) but patching in certain areas so you wont find yourself driving too close to either edge to avoid potholes.

Tobago is quiet at present but Blue Waters is a holiday apart when we are looked after and not visiting our villa at Lambeau, the other end of the Island.

This road to get to the property is horrible once there there are really. I other eating facilities unless you take a tour and even Jenna restaurant no parking closed Saturday did not look clean the beach was not as great as Crown Pointe Caribbean side I would probably only have spent two days here and not rented a care since the roads are bad and there is little to see Thank goodness I did reef and Nilon Bay before I came. Same dinner menu no unique dishes every night

Beautifully situated on its own bay. Snorkelling and diving facilities, but sadly bleached coral. Food was artfully prepared, BUT involved a long wait. Advise pre ordering ahead of time. Bar well stocked with nice range of cocktails. Cronic water shortage in dry season. Not nice to come back from swim in sea to find no water for shower and for flushing toilet. However, no problem with sand flies or mosquitoes in dry season which is a big plus.

Welcoming feel about the place, and the staff (excellent). It sits in its own beautiful grounds, in its own bay so has a nice ambience. Constant landward breeze keeps things cooler. Proximity to Little Tobago and snorkelling sites over coral reefs.
