Our stay, for the most part, was quite satisfactory. Service was efficient and staff pleasant and courteous. The interior of the hotel was very clean. Our only issues was with the inconvenience of the location i.e. inaccessibility of transport vehicles to the hotel's entrance and the unattractiveness of the surrounding exterior area of the property, which we acknowledge is no fault of the hotel per se.

The hotel is relatively new, which shows in the modern design and overall look of the property. That said, our stay fell short in a few key areas. Housekeeping did not fully meet expectations — the floors were not swept and the counters were not wiped during our stay, which was disappointing for a newer hotel.
The room also lacked basic amenities such as a kettle, which would have been appreciated and should be clearly noted in the room description. Additionally, the atmosphere leaned much more toward a party scene than a relaxing stay. This isn’t necessarily a negative, but it should be advertised more accurately so guests know what type of experience to expect.

The hotel was in reasonable distance of all forms of public transport, it was very clean & the staff were all extremely helpful, they gave great restaurant tips. There were plenty of bars and restaurants nearby too. The room was small enough, but adequate. There was a place to leave bags on the last day while we explored some more of Athens - our flight was late in the evening.

Our stay was fantastic. The hotel was conveniently located in a great part of town, just a short walk away from excellent dining and sightseeing spots. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The only minor inconvenience we encountered was the shared floor with the breakfast area. We could hear the chatter, cutlery clinking, and plates clinking throughout the morning, which was a bit distracting. I understand that soundproofing from within the facilities can be challenging, but it would have been appreciated if the noise level could have been reduced.

The hotel was clean, staff was friendly, my check in and out went smoothly. The price listed online is the price I paid. My room was modern, clean and the balcony/patio was very spacious and nice to sit out on an evening. The area leaves a lot to be desired, but the hotel was like a diamond in the ruff. The breakfast buffet was also nice all the food was fresh, the juices and coffee were nice as well. I will definitely be back for another stay.

The hotel is a mile walk to the city center. We arrived on Sunday and at 11am, a parade passed the tomb of the unknown soldier. Great place, staffed by great people.

The place itself is nice, but the area is a little questionable. We walked a few blocks to dinner and saw riot police. Fine during the day but not so much at night. However, the noise was insane. Not from the outside, but the hotel itself. All night, banging in the halls, it sounded like they were doing renovations at 2 am. Would not recommend if you need a good nights sleep.

Our experience overall was fantastic, wonderful. All except my interaction with housekeeping. I understand why she made the request, AND, I am the guest, and they can make up/clean the room, whenever they can. I was told I need to \"put out the make room sign\" EARLIER. Really? How about you leave for the day, when your shift is over, and if I'd like my room made up, I'll make arrangements with the front desk. Front desk can then have the evening staff clean my room. Or....you don't have to clean my room at all.
I am just not used to housekeeping telling me HOW I should have my stay. It is ridiculous. I wouldn't have been upset if they didn't clean my room for the day because I left later than normal (I left my room at 2pm). But, after she pulled me aside to tell me this, I was annoyed, not necessarily angry, but definitely not happy.
Maybe tell the guests that after a certain time, that housekeeping will be gone for the day, and the room will be made up the next day, from the getgo? Thus, no need for that lecture, conversation, from housekeeping. That's all.

Esme was wonderful, she was very friendly and overall she provided great customer service. We stayed in the lower ground level AO room and it was clean, stylishly modern and cozy for three people. We requested taxi service and Esme was kind enough to request a taxi for early morning service as well as gave us a courtesy morning wake up call. Overall, it was great staying at Trendy. It was a good area close to Omonia square which you can get bus and train services and not too far from the Monastiraki flea market.

Not safe area for women or solo travelers
The hotel itself is perfectly lovely BUT it’s not located in a safe area. We stayed in two places in Athens, one ten min walk near the agora and this one. It’s a crazy difference in safety. This location has a lot of people on drugs and really bad energy. I would never walk this area alone. Also, our room was across from two bars that blast music that will shake your room until 3-4am. I don’t mind regular city noises but this was way beyond that.

I liked the fact that it was centrally located and near to public transport. I was disappointed that the refrigerator did not work and there was a considerable amount of noise during the night from neighbouring premises.

the area is very dodgy for the place- wouldn't recommend it for families with small children seemed unsafe. There was loud music going on in a pub next door till 2am. the breakfast variety was so dead that we decided to eat breakfast out for the remaining days of our stay even though we had paid for breakfast. staff at reception seem moody and argumentative. it's down the road from omonia square metro station

An extended weekend in Athens
The hotel itslef is very nice. We were a group of 4 people and we booked 2 rooms. My room was nice and clean. My sister's room was on the second floor and the way they built the shower, it was a walk in but there was no slope so water went every where in the bathroom. The first night they were totally booked so we had to stayed in that room but fortunately they had a spare room and we switched to the first floor. Room was much better.
The location is central to everything. I never noticed any review about a club being near there so music was loud until around 2 am.

Nice and ‘trendy’ hotel. Nice and spacious room. Friendly staff. Our room was facing the front of the hotel, noisy at night. There was a bar/ nightclub nearby. Location was not the best in Athens, but close to some attractions. We stayed only one night. But I must say , I like this hotel very much and will go back again.

We had to wait at check in desk as the person arrived exactly at 3pm and there was a group - tour before us that took 1 hour approx. The people at the reception one did not know how long will it take and the second person was like ‘check in starts at 3pm and can go on till the day’ which seemed to suggest it’s fine to wait. We had a wine with the room however we had to call and ask for it which compared to other hotels are always kept ready in the room.

We found this hotel a couple days before arriving in Athens. We were surprised by the low price, high reviews, and location so we gave it a try. So glad we did. The room was spacious and had a pull out couch and desk. The bed was comfortable and we we both slept well. The breakfast was great - fresh pastries, freshly cooked eggs, fruit, etc. the staff was super nice and helpful. What a gem, it was the perfect place.

Germ-a-phobe approved! Extremely clean, well sanitized, and SPACIOUS hotel in a lovely neighborhood of Athens. There were two TVs, a refrigerator, one main bed and a rollout bed as well. Plenty of room to walk around hotel room, a desk for your computer, and it was well stocked with soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. When the weather isn't too hot, it's walking distance to most of the main attractions of Athens and there are many lovely restaurants and museums nearby. Very welcoming and friendly staff. For the generous space and amenities, this hotel is the best bang for your buck in Athens in an excellent location.
