Loking for the hotel was α little bit difficult becαuse of maiz this location. Unfortunately, tαp water / shower change knob was clagged and not able to enjoy shower and not much clean bas ares. But stuffs were so kind and breakfast was delicious. Famous boat cruise ferry is only 5 minutes walk!! I will stay here again if I have chance to visit this place.

Perfect Accomodations!

Lovely place to stay to enjoy the Rhein. The breakfast was wonderful and the views from Rudesheim are fantastic. Easy access to gondolier and shopping and Rhein River boat cruises. Will plan on a future return.
Only suggestion to travelers is to request a parking place for your auto with your reservation as places are limited.
Did not eat in the restaurant, but surrounding area and restaurants are all inviting and a fun time at night. Thank you Germany for a beautiful weather week!!

Rüdesheim is a lovely, historic town on the Rhine that boasts over 40 castles and castle ruins nearby. The hotel is as charming as the surrounding area. Rooms are small, as is expected throughout the region. If you want luxury, look elsewhere. If you want charm, a most helpful and friendly staff and a location that can’t be beat, then look no further!

Very centrally locates and very friendly staff at reception. Very charming hotel and lively. Can be noisy if the room is courtyard facing. We had a room with balcony but on the flip side no lift and we had to climb flight of stairs which we were already warned of. No room service and even for water you have to go to restaurant. Breakfast was very very basic. But over all good experience . Several restaurants are around and the rope way is right behind .

Lindenwirt was a fabulous location in Rudesheim. The only thing that could have improved our stay would have been air conditioning, although I know most small hotels in Germany don't have it. We just kept the windows open! the room and public areas were clean, staff helpful, breakfast was great....I would definitely stay there again!

We spent one night. Nice clean hotel right next to the train station. Several good restaurants nearby. Nice sized room and bathroom. The only negative for us was the bed was hard, and we like soft beds.

The hotel's location was perfect. In the center of everything. The staff is extremely helpful. \"Fruhstuck\" (breakfast) was excellent. A lot of variety to choose from. The room and bath are very spacious. If we go back to Ruedesheim, we will definitely stay at this hotel again. One side note, if you are driving a car, please make sure you let the hotel know as parking is limited. If you do not reserve a parking spot, there are various locations within Ruedesheim to park. THANKS for making our final stop in Germany so enjoyable!

We spent one night at Hotel Lindenwirt recently, and felt like we had stumbled on a hidden gem! The hotel is in a great location - about 1/4 of a mile from the train station and in the main tourist section of the city. The property was lovely, and though the rooms were very basic, they were clean, spacious, and comfortable. If you are up for an adventure, they even offer the chance to sleep in a giant wine barrel! The hotel has 2 restaurants, and food was good. Breakfast buffet was also very nice in the morning. All in our party said they would definitely pick this hotel if we return to Rudesheim.

Busy resort, possibly best hotel in the town

The hotel is probably one of the nicest in the town, but the town is busy and noisy. The hotel is in the middle of the main attractions and also has live music until 23.30. Best thing to do is to join in the fun. The room was comfortable and had double doors so once inside the noise was not a major issue. Breakfast was adequate and there are a large number of restaurants nearby. I would not spend a lot of time here, there are nicer areas along the Rhine. The train line goes along the front of the lake and there is only a quiet section at one end, at least there is a quiet section. There is a lovely outdoor swimming area in walking distance if staying for longer periods. The town is very old and quaint there is a brewery trip so enough to do for 2 nights. Many people come on boat trips and it can be busy. However, nice to go back to a nice hotel after the hustle and bustle.

An incredibly charming hotel in a perfect location to see all the sights of the Rhine river and all it has to offer. The front desk manager, who was from Nepal, was one of the most gracious and warm hosts we've ever had the pleasure of meeting and he helped us with our reservations and things to see and do while we were visiting the area. A true gentleman from the old school ! He made our stay a memorable experience and made us feel like royalty visiting your little hotel.

I could not speak highly enough of all the staff from the cleaners to the management, all were friendly and cooperative regardless of what my requirements were. The best location , right in the middle of everything, the room was big and has a flat screen tv. The breakfast was included and it was very nice , hot scrambled eggs or hard boiled and meat, cheese, fruit and more. The service in the restaurant could be improved and the rooms could use some new carpeting.

Great location and nice atmosphere

Really nice town on the Rhein, and the hotel is in the perfect location to enjoy it. I found lots of good running routes and my 1 yr old daughter was made welcome. So we were very happy with our short vacation, rooms and hotel very traditional but perfect for a taste of the Rhein region. Will stay here again. :-)

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, but thought it a little bit on the \"bare bones\" side. The room and bath were both very small, but very clean. There were no bath amenities aside from a squeeze bottle of soap, and no wash rags in the bath. Breakfast was provided in the mornings and it was wonderful. In addition to the normal German bread, cheese, and cold cuts, there were scrambled eggs. The hotel staff was helpful and pleasant, and the location couldn't have been more convenient. The hotel backed up to DrosselGasse, and our window overlooked OberStrasse. We had a slight issue with noise late at night . The weather was warm and there is no a/c, so we left windows open and there was quite a bit of noise from the restaurants on the street below us.

When in Rudesheim, I always try to stay at the Lindenwirt. I have never had a disappointing experience there. It is a historic hotel with all of the charm that a hotel of this vintage should have. It is extremely well located in Rudesheim and the staff do a great job of making you feel welcome.

This is the third time I have stayed at the hotel (January 20th to 21st). Rudesheim doesn't have much going on at this time of year, as many shops are closed until March. However, the hotel was consistently superb. Staff was great, rooms were good, and the breakfast was also good. This is my favorite place to stay in Ruedesheim.

Basic rooms in a noisy area but recommended

We arrived after 1am to be greeted at the door by the staff. The room was close to the night clubs and the noise was audible - there was ear plugs in the room if you required them.

The room was basic but satisfactory. The shower was great for pressure and heat. Breakfast was ample and decent.

Overall a good experience and somewhere we would recommend.

The bedroom was a little basic and in need of refurbishment, though the ensuite was newly refurbished. Hotel staff were extremely eficient and friendly as ever. Breakfast buffet is always excellent, as is the food in the resteraunts. The communial rooms are all well maintained and impressive with an authentic charm. Best location within Ruedesheim. Third time at this hotel and will return again.

A great place to stay in an excellent location. The dining room overlooks the Drossleglass street. A lift is provided to get to the upper floor. Breakfast is fantastic with a great variety to choose from. The hotel decor is well suited to the building and general suroundings.

very enjoyable stay. room was small, but nice. Previous reviewers had mentioned all the noise from the bars and restaurants on the main street, but our room was on the other side and quiet. We arrived early afternoon and got a great parking spot in their courtyard near the front door where we left it for 2 days.

The hotel is situated right in the centre of what goes for night life in the town, so if you are ok with loud music and singing until midnight this is the place for you.If you are looking for a quiet night, go elsewhere.
The room was very basic and the toilet and bathing facilities left much to be desired;not good. One plus , the room and breakfast was an inclusive price.
car parking is also a problem.

Snabb incheckning och vänlig personal. Förbokad parkeringsplats på hotellets innergård. Jättebra. Stort och rymligt rum, men inga lämpliga avställningsytor för vårt bagage trots detta stora rum. En stor soffa hade kunnat plockas bort och plötsligt hade ytorna funnits. Stort minus för små, små förpackningar med duschtvål i pappersförpackningar, vi tilldelades fyra st för två nätter. De räckte inte. Har bott på många hotell, men aldrig utan ordentligt med tvål till duschen. Detta kändes sniket.

また戻って来たい場所です！

大きめのスーツケースを広げるにはお部屋が狭いかもしれませんが、室内は清潔で過ごしやすかったです。バスルームも広くて快適でした。
中庭の木に集まる鳥の声、部屋の外にあるベンチに座って落ち着いた時間を過ごせます。
朝食も美味しく、紅茶の種類も大きく、ワクワクしました。スタッフの方もとても親切でした。

Es wirkt ,als wäre seit den 70ern die Zeit stehen geblieben. Für den Preis nicht mehr erklärbar.

Fik ved ankomst en MEGET venlig modtagelse. Et rigtigt dejligt og hyggeligt sted med rolig og perfekt beliggenhed, ingen støj fra vej eller tog.
Vi valgte et comfort værelse, et dejligt værelse, skønt badeværelse og alt her var MEGET rent og lækkert. Hele hotellet var MEGET rent overalt.
Lækker morgenmad, hvor intet manglede og hele tiden blev fyldt op, her var der også budt på dejlig kold secco 😁
Al personale var MEGET venligt og MEGET hjælpsom, blev altid mødt med et smil.

Massive Hygienemängel, zu hell, wenig Umweltdenken

Insgesamt ein charmantes Hotel, leider mit eklatanten Schwächen:

Der Lüfter im Bad brummte so laut, dass ich irgendwann nachgeschaut habe, was die Ursache sein könnte. Das Ergebnis?
Der Filter war mit einer daumendicken, komplett durchgehärteten Staubschicht verklebt, die darauf schließen ließ, dass dieser Filter seit Jahren weder gereinigt, geschweige denn gewechselt wurde. Komplett inakzeptabel. Ich habe den Filter dann provisorisch selbst gereinigt, so dass der Geräuschpegel deutlich reduziert werden konnte.

Dazu kommt, dass sogar die Seife einzeln abgepackt ist. Shampoo sowieso. Das führt zu massiv viel, komplett unnötigem Müll.

Und zu guter letzt sind die Vorhänge leider weit entfernt von verdunkelnd. Ab 5 Uhr morgens war es im Zimmer quasi taghell.

Das sind einfach viel zu viele Mängel für ein Hotel.

Wirklich sehr nettes Personal, außergewöhnlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ein bisschen störend war die morgendliche Musikbeschallung aus den Lautsprechern unter unserem Fenster. Die Zimmer sind großzügig und sauber, die Betten bequem und das Frühstück reichhaltig und gut. Wir würden dort wieder übernachten.

I don't think you can find a better located hotel in Rüdesheim. In the middle of the tourist quarter (Drosselgasse/Obergasse) but sufficiently removed from the main road and railroad. Very nice buildings. Good restaurant (we only tried one of the two) and breakfast. Nice staff (though proficiency in English varied!). We where there in a rather quiet period, there may be some noise from tourists in the streets and adjoining bars in the high season,

Interessant, was den Parkplatz betrifft: die schreiben, dass der Parkplatz ohne Service 5,00 € pro Tag kostet. Nur war zu unserem Termin ein Parkplatz nicht verfügbar. Der Hinweis auf begrenzte Kapazität geht. Und was ist mit den zusätzlichen Kosten???

Wir haben das Hotel mit einem Automobilclub besucht und schon der Empfang war königlich!!! Wir wurden auf der Straße erwartet und auf dem hoteleigenen Parkplatz eingewiesen. Super Service!
Das Personal ist besonders freundlich und die Zimmer sehr schön.

Zentrales, zweckmäßiges Hotel. Zimmer sind ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und wenig gemütlich, dafür aber sauber. Da wir im Winter hier waren, haben wir aufgrund der schlechten Isolierung der Fenster in der Nacht ziemlich gefroren. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung, aber nichts besonderes.

Очень хорошее местоположение отеля. Небольшой уютный номер. Великолепный завтрак. Очень приветливый персонал. При отеле ресторан. Все очень вкусно, особенно понравилось вино.

フロントスタッフの笑顔が最高

立地はドロッセルガッセで最高。フロントスタッフが親切でフレンドリー。日本の旅館の感覚。建物そのものは古いが清潔感あり。日本人に嬉しいのは、小さくてもバスタブがあったこと。バスタブにつかると疲れが取れる。

위치도 좋고 호텔도 아주 고풍스럽고 멎져요
근데 에어컨이 없어 여름에 너무 더워 죽을 지경이었고 온 방과 화장실에 벌레 투성이였어요

Wunderschöne historische Anlage mit Laubengängen gegen den Innenhof. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Reichhaltiges Frühstück. Wegen fehlender Aussenstoren sind die Zimmer aber nur bedingst Hoch-Sommertauglich. Pralle Sonne vom Morgen bis zum Abend liessen die Raumtemperatur auf gegen 30 Grad steigen. Trotz Ventilator waren das zwei \"heisse Nächte\".
