We had a wonderful stay at this lovely family-run hotel in Positano. The room was clean, spacious, and offered an amazing sea view. Breakfast served in the room was a great way to start the day. The owners were so kind and helpful. When our ferry was cancelled, they immediately arranged public transportation for us. Everything was comfortable and well taken care of. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Positano!

Vincenzo was fantastic on advising where to go, restaurants etc. The lady that delivered breakfast each morning was a delight. Breakfast on the balcony was fabulous. The 2 guys that own the hotel were really friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this hotel, if come on the ferry make use of the porter for the cases, very hard work up the steps!

We had a fantastic stay here, staff were so lovely and helpful with helping bring in suitcases , if you check out early you will have to do it yourself so prepare for that.
They were so kind and have water bottles at requests!
Stairs to Da Fernando beach is hard to go up and down and about 20 min walk.
Make sure to ask them an easier way to the docks and town because you can take the road back, you can also get a bus back which is super easy. You have to walk down the stairs or a short cut but still stairs - walk back is easier!

Overall, room was so clean, tidy, hair dryer wasn’t very good. The aircon was 10/10.

Everyone was so nice here . Their hospitality was so greatly appreciated .room was clean and breakfast was simple with granola cereal and croissants and all your different drinks . However you can order extra if u want. I would say it’s an excellent place to stay. Your taxi can pick you up and the hotel is right there. The steps to the hotel was not bad at all. Now getting to the ferry can be challenging with 450 steps down and 450 up but you do get use to it. But good side to staying here although the steps are a lot it’s either lower or higher . And if you’re lower u would need to have them drive your luggage up. So id say perfect area to stay . Loved the stay here

Very quiet spot in Positano. The only downside is the numerous stairs to get to the hotel. While this is the case for every hotel, this location requires more stairs as it is a bit away from the main beach and shopping areas. Besides that, this hotel was fantastic and the extra distance from the main area made it a nice relaxing spot. The breakfast served on the balcony each morning was very special and all of the staff were very welcoming.

Location is up in the hills, which is a walk but near amazing restaurants. We stayed in a partial sea-view room and it was spacious with beautiful views. Breakfast was delicious. Hosts were accommodating and even waited for us since we arrived after check-in hours. We highly recommend booking with them!

We stayed 3 nights a La Rosa dei Venti. It was an incredibly charming hotel, tucked into the hillside of Positano. The location was perfect as it is located near the top and is super close to many wonderful restaurants a short walk away. Vincenzo was so friendly and shared with us so many great recommendations for day trips, restaurants, reservations, ferries, shopping, and where to grab a drink! It was very nice to be greeted by Vincenzo every time we left and came back to the hotel. They also served us breakfast in our room every morning complimentary. It truly was a wonderful stay!

Vincenzo was excellent for providing eating recommendations (which was some of the best italian food we’ve ever eaten), the best way to get around the area and was very accommodating with late checkins and early check-outs. The breakfast provided each morning was beautiful on the balconies over looking the ocean and the location was quite at night but still a very easy and quick walk to restaurants.

This place is absolutely wonderful! We arrived to chilled prosecco, a beautiful, clean room and very friendly and accommodating staff. Mario (the owner) and his son Vicenzo man the front desk and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was brought to our bedroom every morning by a very friendly lady for us to enjoy on the balcony together while we took in the view of the sea. It's quiet and private and had a romantic feeling, perfect for a honeymoon. There are some great restaurants nearby and it's a fun walk down to the beach (spiaggio Fornillo).

It was also a great spot to have our breakfast every morning. You place your order by the door at night and they bring you breakfast to your door at the time of your choosing. Cannot say enough about our stay at La Rosa dei Venti. Our room was quiet and spacious with a large balcony overlooking the beautiful mediterranean sea. Vincenzo was extremely helpful and always took the time to answer our questions and also recommended some awesome restaurants. Security at the hotel was top notch and walking distance to all of Positano. Hills and stairs all part of the adventure. Breakfast on the terrace every morning was spectacular and delivered right to our door at our specified time. We loved it and would definitely recommend.

Our anniversary getaway

This was the third place we stayed along the Amalfi coast and La Rosa dei Venti was by far the nicest and most comfortable. The staff were super friendly and most helpful. The room was immaculate, and the breakfasts were delicious and plentiful and served out on the terrace which had incredible views. We were dropped off and picked up within an easy walk with a few stairs. Easy walk to the nearby shopping and restaurants, and a challenging walk with lots of steps down to the beach as expected. We would highly recommend this place!

A great hotel!

I loved this hotel. Wonderful views right out your room and continental breakfast on the lovely patio. Breakfast was very good. The staff was friendly and nice. I stayed in two rooms, the wifi was great on the first floor down but not so good on the second so a note to the management on that. Overall, I would definitely come back here again! It is on a little side pathway so extremely quiet.

We had an amazing experience! Nice to have breakfast overlooking the ocean, in private. Rooms were cleaned daily and staff was really nice and helpful. I would suggest to anyone going to Positano to take the offer from the hotel and get the private transfer from Napoli Centrale or Napoli Airport to Positano, will make your arrival easier. Once you are in Positano, everything is like paradise.

Fabulous stay at this beautiful property in the Fornillo area of Positano. Arrived early and our room was ready, helpful reception staff who explained what we needed to know. Room was exceptionally clean and very roomy with large bathroom. When we opened the balcony doors the view of the bay is just breathtaking..and we spent every morning and evening enjoying this. Breakfast was provided on a tray to your room each day, you just order the night before and leave a card outside your door.. you can even choose the time. Property was well located.. a leisurely 20 min stroll down the road into the centre and main beach with shops, bars and restaurants along the way. There are lots of shorter routes down into Positano that include many steps for those who like a challenge. Loved our stay at this beautiful peaceful property and would highly recommend. We hope to return soon.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel in Positano. Amazing views of the sea and a short 10 minute walk to the beaches. The staff are INCREDIBLE and breakfast in your room with a sunrise was spectacular. If you are driving, parking is 25 euro but very conveniently located.

Driving and getting around on the Amalfi coast in the town is not an easy thing. So arriving at this hotel was the most difficult part. There is parking available just uphill about one-way road for €25 a day. But don’t miss the parking because you’ll have to go all the way around town which will take you depending on traffic 40 minutes! That’s what we did. You also will need to go downhill and go down a path which includes 20 or so stairs to reach the hotel. But once you’re there it’s a great place. Are complementary breakfast is served in your room and we were able to sit on our veranda to eat it. Our unobstructed view of the sea was lovely! The staff was very helpful and we enjoyed our stay.

Nice little hotel, located near a lot of B & B's, other boutique hotels, bus stop, some restaurants. Room was very clean and large with a wonderful balcony and sea view where we would sit and enjoy our room delivered breakfast each morning. Furnishings a little outdated and very slightly warn (but this is Europe). Bed was extremely comfortable (and we are picky about that). Large bathroom. Long walk down stairs or streets to the beach if that is important. Little off the main area which made it quieter. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. They assisted with dinner reservations prior to arrival and were great about email contact and answering questions. We enjoyed are stay very much and found it to be a good value. Not suitable for persons who require special access.

It was a little hard to find when we first got there but the staff at the desk was very welcoming. Our room was clean and had a great private balcony. The only complaint was the bed was not very comfortable and the pillows were flat, but other than that I had no complaints. It was nice to have breakfast on the balcony every morning too.

The perfect little getaway!! My favorite part of my stay was when we would have quiet intimate breakfast on our balcony that over looked the ocean . The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and I enjoyed conversing with them about local spots and the to go areas. La Rosa Dei Venti was perfect for our honeymoon. The room was beautiful, immaculately clean and a spectacular view! The staff was very friendly and answered many of my questions and concerns. Breakfast served to our room at our requested time was a nice added touch! The hotel was only 30 steps from the main road which made it easy to carry our luggage only a few steps. The beach is 400 steps up and down but again not too bad considering all the food we ate in Italy :) I would without a doubt recommend this hotel to friends and family.

A fabulous place to stay the view from scirocco room is amazing. Staff friendly. Loved having breakfast serviced on our private balcony. Comfy beds lovely shower and very clean. Include a hair dry, tea and coffee making facilitities and a mini fridge. Would defiantly recommend and stay again.
