Overall I had a fantastic stay again, room comfort was good, bed very comfortable with nice linen. The room was a little on the warm side - which I have to say I prefer to a cold room but I know some people do not like it. You can of course open the window if you are too warm.
The bathroom was a little dated in places but clean.
The Bar food also has to get a mention - daily menu had a very good selection and a welcome change from the usual hotel offerings of just fried food. The strawberry creme brulee is a must have.
Overall a very good stay.

Pack your anti-histamines

Beautiful hotel, good food, good gym, pool and amenities, plenty of free parking and close to town. Only let down was that service was sometimes poor and the rooms were dusty in places I.e. shelves, drawers and under furnishings.

The hotel was beauitful and very clean. Only problem we had was that the room faced the front of the hotel where guests would go out to have a cigarette from the residents bar at all hours of the morning. It woke us several times throughout the night

I stayed to attend a wedding in a nearby hotel, was delighted with the ability to get an early check in to get dressed for the wedding which isn't always possible. The room was adequate and had everything I needed. The staff were friendly and accomodating in every way, the breakfast was until 11am which I enjoyed. The only point I would note is the slamming doors from the other hotel rooms, I had a late night and needed the few hours sleep and didn't because of this.

Room good size but very dusty

One night stay, not great service on the two occasions of speaking to staff. Breakfast in room ordered via card hung outside door, only to find out even of you ticked the boxes for delivery before 8am they wouldnt deliver until 8am as the chef didnt start until 7am. I had to ring when Breakfast hadn't arrived at the room to find this out. Room was a good size but very dusty and obviously more than one days worth of dust. Would not choose to stay here again.

Lovely hotel fir a stay despite the firm beds

Stayed for one night with my daughter. The room was modern and clean but the bed was a little on the hard side. Also there was quite a bit of traffic noise coming through the windows from early morning. Bathroom was spotless and the shower and amenities were great.
The staff at reception were super friendly and efficient as were the staff throughout the hotel. Dinner in the restaurant was very good in quality and excellent value. Breakfast was very good too. The leisure facilities were excellent and the swimming pool was a great size fir a hotel. In general we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

I enjoy my two nights stay here and i went swimming on the two mornings I was here and I had breakfast as well for the two mornings too I enjoy it so much I seem to like the way the hotel put me in a room at the end of the hotel lol as every hotel l been too has been the same I have been snoring as well so I am glad that they didn't put me next to neighbours lol but it's fine as I am not sure if I was snoring loud enough but overall it's a nice hotel I have been here so many times for dinner now and again and tea and coffee before hope to return sometime soon again

This trip was a present for my husband and son. Our daughter bought the tickets for the Liverpool night. Everything was fine except for the breakfast. Everything was deep fat fried not freshly cooked which they said was very disappointing.

The hotel was a great base for us. The decor was modern. The place was clean. Staff were helpful, especially as we needed to check in around 1.30am. Breakfast was great....a selection of cereal, fruit, yogurt and then a cooked breakfast. We are in the bar area one evening. I had a creamy tagliatelle pasta which was yummy

Well it was lovely hotel with lovely staff and food was excellent, one main issue was booking of tables , we had to move table couple of times due to people booking yable for dinner , like one time we spent from 1pm to 530pm at table then staff said it was reserved for 6pm so we hsd to vacate to lobby and then when people were done we could return i felt used as residents . Also there could do with some vending machines for snacks for kids like no crisp at bar or anything

Your hotel was perfect - but our neighbours in the next room decided to have a row at 2am that woke us up. I ended up going for a walk around the hotel at 4am (as i couldn't sleep)and didn't get back to sleep till 7am. Which i was very disappointed as i was looking forward to using your lovely pool but didn't waken till 10am so it was either breakfast or pool and we decided on breakfast. Would have been a lovely weekend only for this cos as you can guess we were tired for the rest of the day.

Nice hotel with great staff

We used the hotel as a base to experience the greenways, for which it is quite well placed. Hotel was nice, with a comprehensive breakfast and choice of food in the bar or restaurant. My only complaint would be the lack of safe in the room for personal possessions (most likely never necessitated, but a personal preference) and the ignorance of some people when moving through corridors late at night or early in the morning (a problem with many hotels these days - people just don’t seem to care). The staff in the hotel were very helpful and always pleasant.

Overall great place to stay! Had a room that smelled of smoke initially but they changed it without an issue when asked. Room was spacious clean and bright! A lot of noise of kids running around at 1am but who hasn’t had that before? No fridge in room. Nice pool and spa area. Beautiful bar and great food! Service was excellent.

The food served in the bar during the day is poor and poor service during the day. Some of the bar staff appear to have very little training as they are unable to tell you what drinks are at the bar, can't tell you if they have a kids dessert menu. Over all a nice hotel, evening food is good.

Marvellous Mullingar park

I decided to head off and make the most of the good weather forecasted . We ended up booking a night in Mullingar park hotel and have to say it was just the tonic. From the moment we arrived in the bright lobby with a beautiful chandelier display as the centre piece everything was just perfect . The staff were friendly and the dinner we had in the lovely horseshoe bar that evening was top class . There was a female manageress that was on duty on both the Friday evening in the bar and again the following morning in the restaurant for breakfast and I have to say she ran everything very efficiently especially the breakfast . We were served by the staff at our table and they were super efficient . We stayed at dunboyne castle hotel last month and their breakfast service was just all over the place and they certainly could have done with the experience of the Mullingar crew. The room was bright and spacious and the only small criticism I have is that there was no air conditioning and with the balmy weather the room was a bit uncomfortable to sleep . Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again .

From start to finish it was a perfect break. All the facilities were working and in very good condition. Staff very friendly, rooms were comfortable, toiletries were good quality. Everything you could wish for. The only 2 problems were that I ate too much (breakfast was to die for and properly cooked) and secondly there was no skimmed milk on display for the cereals, only full fat milk.Bar food finished at 9pm so no real chance of a sandwich or anything

On the outskirts of Mullingar just off the motorway, this is a quality hotel. Plenty of car parking, great leisure centre that was spotlessly clean, lovely breakfast, spacious bar and the big bedroom was very comfortable and well kitted out.

Definitely not what I call a 4 star hotel. I have stayed in better 2 star hotels. Duvet cover was ripped at the seems. Contacted receptionist and enquires where the ice machine was located on the 2nd floor. Was told they don’t have one and if I wanted ice I would have to go to the bar and get it myself. No offer of ice being delivered to my room. In the morning the noise outside my bedroom window of beer kegs being thrown about was just ridiculous.
