Incredible views - incredible staff!! ♥️

There are two good reasons to stay at the Hotel Oberhofer - the incredible view and the equally incredible staff!
The view from our room 205 was spectacular and to be able to sit out on the balcony and gaze in wonder at it was priceless. The next best thing about this hotel is the staff - they are all so kind, welcoming and friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them - and special shout outs to Paolo who rushes about tirelessly making sure every guests needs are met swiftly in the restaurant and the bar, and to Maria who went above and beyond to help us during our stay 🙏 thank you
As for the hotel itself, it is modern and spacious, the rooms are large and very comfortable, bed was good, separate bathroom and toilet also nice touch. Undercover parking available too was a bonus.
Fantastic pool and sauna/steam rooms and relaxation areas.
Only negative points we found were, shower over the bath was not ideal and the shower head bracket was broken meaning it would not stay in place, the sliding doors on the wardrobe were also broken and didn’t run properly to open/close, and the kettle lid was broken and fell off when pouring water but these small items did not spoil our enjoyment of the place and we would definitely 100% return here.

Great quiet family stay. Spa was nice but needed a little care in places but was still very enjoyable experience.

We had a penthouse room which was lovely, excellent views and a private huge patio. There were things like a TV but we never even switched them on. Parking was generally a breeze and very accessible. The kids stayed on a sofa bed which looked comfortable (obviously a premium sofabed) for kids, but as it is a sofa bed, so as adult i wouldn't want to have slept on it.

Overall a wonderful stay which I hope to come again. The skiing locally was great dor a young family on their first/second season ski school integrated on the main slopes. But was nothing challenging fora more experienced skier.

Only thing I didn't like was the parking and some cobwebs in my room. That was a mess. That's the only bad part though. Workers were nice, room was nice(other than the cobwebs in bathroom), breakfast was good. The pool had a good temperature and I had a relaxing time in it. They gave you nice bath robes to wear. Also by far my favorite part: Check out it at 1130!! I would stay again for that fact alone

We booked this hotel last minute through Expedia, and the listing mentioned nothing about breakfast. During check-in, the front desk staff told us about the breakfast hours, giving us the impression it was included. The next morning, we had breakfast, but at check-out, we were surprised with a €17 per person breakfast charge. At no point were we informed that breakfast wasn’t included or that it came with an extra fee until the moment we checked out. When I expressed my surprise, the front desk attendant awkwardly pointed to a “hotel policy” sheet, which only listed various hours for amenities and a charge for EV charging. Nowhere did it mention breakfast as an additional charge. I have stayed at numerous hotels, and typically, if breakfast isn’t included, you’re asked upfront if you’d like to add it. Here, it felt like they were trying to take advantage.

The breakfast itself was disappointing. If you don’t arrive early, they don’t restock, so options run out quickly. I was asked if I’d like scrambled eggs but never actually received them.

The spa facilities were outright unpleasant. The pool was cold, not heated, and had clumps of hair floating around – I personally removed three large strands. The steam room smelled strongly of chlorine, making it feel anything but healthy, and the only decent part was the Finnish sauna, which at least maintained a good temperature. They offered “fruit water” in the spa, but the fruit looked like it had been there for days, with strawberr

Highly recommend! Beautiful location

The view of the mountains was absolutely magnificent! The staff was very helpful. Easy check-in process. It was perfect for our family of 5. There is a grocery store within a 10 min walk. We loved our stay here! The area was great for outdoor activities like paragliding and hiking.

If you have car, its the best place to stay near Innsbruk. Rooms are big. Great view and weather. Spa and Sauna are just added star. All the staffs are very kind and helpful. Definitely 5 stars.

The views are beautiful!

The views at this hotel are exceptional. Our beds were comfy and we loved the sauna. The restaurant was closed so we were sad about that, but I don’t think it was quite their busy season yet. We loved having coffee on our porch and the views were so very memorable.

The hotel room was a little different being on two floors with the bed up some steep stairs with the bathroom below so not so good for getting out at night. The room was a good size. Staff were generally OK but a bit hostile when we arrived early but we could leave our luggage and then went to visit friends nearby. There was a problem at checkout when they tried to charge for the room again which was previously paid to Expedia but that issue was easily resolved.

Horrible, arrived in the evening hotel was closed called the phone number. No one answered tried bell no answer. Called customer service at hotels they said i they couldnt reach the hotel to get another one. Nothing was avaliable near by drove 2 plus hours to fussen DE. To find a place at 5am. Worst experience.

Séjour de 3 nuits. Hôtel moderne avec restaurant.
Chambre avec terrasse et jardin. Accès direct à la piscine.
Pas de climatisation.
Piscine plutôt petite mais bienvenue quand il fait chaud.
Notre wifi n’a jamais fonctionné.
Hôtel pas trop loin d’Innsbruck et à la montagne dans un cadre sympathique.

Lovely hotel with very nice pool. We stayed
for 1 night before driving south to Italy. Parking, pool and charger available. The supply in the 2 rooms were a bit random, 2 glasses in one room, but none in the other room. Only one rope in one of the rooms, but 2 in the other. Only tee and no coffee in either rooms.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. The property itself is stunning – elegant, beautifully maintained, and with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The service was nothing short of world-class; every staff member was professional, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect.

Super fint hotel i meget smukke omgivelser. Vi var der kun en enkelt nat men vi kunne godt finde på at komme tilbage og være der i flere dage. Der var en fin lille spa/wellness afdeling. Og udenoms arealerne gave rig mulighed for afslapning og solbadning.
Morgenmaden var også rigtig lækker og ned stort udvalg.

Dont stay in the penthouse!!!

We booked a penthouse for three people via Expedia, with over 75 m², two beds and a sofa bed, separate bedrooms, soundproofing, daily cleaning, and a surprise for my sister’s birthday. Upon arrival, the hotel thought we were only two guests. A staff member was sent to prepare the sofa bed for the third person.

The room was much smaller than described: one bedroom, one sofa bed, and no separate rooms. The staff member acknowledged something was wrong and attempted to move us to another room, but it was already occupied. What we got looked more like a studio than a penthouse.

The balcony was almost the same size as the room and shared with two other rooms – far from private. The walls were thin; we could hear the neighbors clearly. No cleaning was done during our three-day stay, and the promised birthday surprise was never delivered.

At the reception, we received no understanding. They insisted this was the correct room. When we expressed dissatisfaction, they told us (at 10:00 PM) we could leave and find another hotel ourselves. No effort was made to find a solution.

The stay was disappointing, and the communication was poor. We did not receive what was promised. Even worse, Expedia has taken no action regarding our complaint. The listing is misleading, and what we got was definitely not a penthouse. This damages trust in both the hotel and the booking platform.
