Its not in the main part of town so would have to drive to a restaurant etc. The owner was lovely and the included breakfast had a variety of things to choose from and it was nice to meet and talk to other people stayng at the inn.

Breakfast was set up for us even though we had a very early start and the staff let us know where we could find everything we needed. It’s a really nice family suite with well stocked kitchen, extra cot and an extra folding mattress, lots of pillows, towels, fans and dehumidifier in each room for the humid summer days. The host was very nice and helpful, breakfast included milk, cereal, instant oats, cheese spread, peanut butter, jam.
Areas for improvement, bring your own bread or buy from the store. But if bread is being provided to other guests who don’t have a kitchen then it doesn’t take much to leave a loaf of bread in the fridge. We didn’t mind getting it ourselves from the store but others may find it inconvenient.
No body lotion is available so if you need one then make sure you carry it with you.
The mattress on the queen bed was very uncomfortable with a dip in the middle. Couldn’t sleep well and I disturbed my partner every time I turned. Please replace the mattress.

Deborah warmly welcomed us into her lovely home. Amenities were great. Breakfast was excellent. The only reason we didn't give an excellent is because the bed, though comfortable, was very noisy. I'm a light sleeper so I was awakened by my wife changing position. Everything else was excellent in every way.

The bad:
- Not mentioned at all in the Expedia page that the family suite does not include breakfast. In every way we are lead to believe the breakfast is included. When confronted about this the owner said she'll send me a proof and she never did.
- Not allowed to cook fish. Not a very Newfoundlandly place if you are not allowed to cook fish?!
- The dishwasher is horrifyingly dirty, so we ended up washing everything by hand.
- No soap to wash our hands in the kitchen, when asked the owner for one we are told to just use the soap in the bathroom.
- We have to take out the garbage to the curb and put towels in the washing machine. It should be their job and no other places we stayed ever asked for these. Failing to comply is 100$ fine.
- Other small details that shows the owner does not care much about the property: The clocks are all out of batteries, dishwasher is not emptied when we arrived, sink has food scraps in the drain.

Great location in Durrell, very scenic landscape that is walkable.

Bed/pillows very comfortable! Delightful host and employee. Great warm breakfast. Would recommend anyone to stay there. Parking spots small, as well as room. Overall wouldn’t complain because everything else was so good!
