We had room number 1 and it was so lovely. The bathroom was huge , the bed was comfy and the balcony looking out to the beach was a great place for Brekky.
The granola and croissants were a big hit- a real find this hotel.

Modern clean spacious room in the new block of the hotel. Balcony with seating and sea view. Nice touches which were unexpected were the beach towels and simple breakfast provisions of muesli and croissants. The adjacent hotel had a large bar and dining area so everything on hand but no noise problems.

The Balcony view was beautiful looking out to the water, the room was clean and spacious with sink, microwave, fridge. Parking available. Pub and restaurant next door. Staff were helpful. Complimentary croissants for breakfast from local bakery. The shops were at your doorstep from coffee shops, restaurants, gifts, clothes, furniture, art and craft.

Very welcoming staff, the room was clean and nicely appointed with an amazing view from directly across the street to the grass verge then beach and ocean. Their in-house bistro and bar was excellent with plenty of other eateries nearby. A continental breakfast with fresh local croissants and muesli and fresh chilled milk provided.

We had a one of the Ocean view rooms, highly recommend it. Renovated, lovely room, with small coffee machine. It was beautiful to wake up and have a coffee and croissant on the balcony looking at the ocean.
The pub is right downstairs so can be a bit noisy but didn’t bother us at all. The pub is really good with great choice of drinks and good food.

Book into one of the renovated rooms

A 130 year old 'pub' that has had its room renovated to a very high standard - the hotel won the Australian Award in 2022 for a luxury pub.

There are only 9 rooms in the pub (renovated rooms) with an adjoining block on some usual motel rooms. We stayed in room 1 in the hotel - thoroughly recommended

was delightfully surprised at this hotel. I have stayed at pub hotels before, but nothing like this. Easy and quick check-in and showed me to my room pointing out all the amenities. Beautiful room with very comfortable bed and spacious. Mini-kitchenette, coffee maker, and small refrigerator. Big TV in the room and it was lovely to have relaxing music playing from it when first entering the room. Parking was no problem in the back of the hotel. I was given some muffins and muesli for breakfast, but decided to have breakfast at a restaurant down the street.

The pub had on special for the evening, battered gluten free dory fish, chips, and salad which was delicious.

The area is very clean and nice and I hope my plans allow me to visit again in the spring or summer.

We got upgraded to a room with a balcony overlooking the water. The room was comfortable and well appointed. The hotel has great food, some interesting dishes with a South American influence. It was very busy but there were plenty of staff, all who were friendly and good at their job. There was complimentary muesli and croissants for breakfast.

Stayed 1 night here and the room was absolutely beautiful. The ensuite was lovely and the shower was great. Didn’t want to get out of the shower. Breakfast provided was delicious and we had a meal in the bistro which was also very nice. Would definitely stay here again if passing back this way.

Food was nice. Room was nice! However, there is a pub there. Never got a sleep even after mid-night. So if you’re after a quiet accommodation for rest to get up early in the next morning to continue the trip, don’t recommend it. If not, a beautiful place.

Probably the best place I’ve ever stayed, beautiful beach views, big clean shower, comfortable bed, the croissants and muesli for breakfast for an extra special touch and espresso pod coffee. Perfect kitchenette facilities. Crème Brûlée for dessert in restaurant downstairs, and woke up to Dolphins swimming in the bay - loved it - we’ll be back.

Beautifully renovated pub, well appointed rooms with great storage and a luxury ensuite. Surprise muesli and local bakery croissants provided for breakfast (included with room price) along with Nespresso coffee and nice tea. Staff were friendly, helpful and unobtrusive.

We stayed in one of the motel rooms and it was fabulous in every way. The room was spacious, warm, clean and comfortable, we fell asleep to the sound of waves and woke to a wonderful sea view. Breakfast from Honorbread was a treat and replenished daily. There was attention to detail in so many ways, from the provided beach towels to the spotlessly clean windows. We love how people with a bit of care and vision are transforming older motels into stylish, contemporary spaces that still remain true to their original character and form. Looking forward to our next stay.

A wonderful hotel in a lovely setting. Our room (15) was spacious with a lovely balcony and views of the sea. It was very clean and parking was onsite. Breakfast provisions were generous with huge croissants and muesli. Staff were great too. Definitely a great place to stay.

One minor thing was that the hotel menu for dinner was quite limited. But food was great.
