In general, property is good with excellent location, rooms are nice and clean and staff is extremely nice and helpful.
Downside: 1.It can get a bit noisy as location is closer to a hospital and sirens can be clearly heard through the poorly insulated balcony doors. 2.Only one slow elevator working and the other elevator had an out of order sign for the entire week stay with no target date for fixing. 3.Room cleaning is only done upon request

I am very disappointed with my recent stay. The hotel staff were unprofessional and rude. At check-in, the front desk agent did not properly review my reservation or explain the room details. I had booked a room with two queen beds through Expedia, but we were given a room with one king bed instead.
The breakfast was awful and did not meet basic expectations. The mattress was very old, noisy, and extremely uncomfortable, which made it difficult to sleep.
Additionally, the shower body wash container was empty. I had to call the front desk three times before someone finally brought it to our room.
Overall, this was a very frustrating experience, and the service did not meet acceptable standards.

We enjoyed our stay but I would suggest getting a room away from the street side. We arrived late and didn't get a quieter room. The staff was wonderful and the food and atmosphere was very good. Additionally, the fire alarms went off at 8am for 5+ minutes. It woke us up and then there was zero follow up or discussion from staff which I found unacceptable. No mention if there was a need to evacuate or a mistake, then at check out no mention of the situation. Very strange. Overall doubt we will be back or recommend.

Room was clean; the bathroom was modern; and staff was courteous and helpful. One example: A security guard I ran into around 11:00p helped me solve my toothpaste issue (as in, I forgot mine at home) by bringing three small traveling packs of toothpaste, at no charge.
We didn't have a chance to try the pool, and the hotel did not offer a courtesy continental breakfast (though they do have a full breakfast buffet available for $27/person). But everything we experienced was positive. We will definitely return when we next visit the area near UCLA.

I arrived and then had to quickly get to an event and got back late. The next morning I had to be up and going and then realized that I did not have a shower curtain. Took a quick shower and used the towels to wipe up the floor. Told them at the front desk-very nice as always. Came back that night and had a shower curtain but only one towel as they had not replaced them, just picked up the wet ones.
Next morning had lukewarm water for my shower.
Following morning had a cold shower. Stopped at the desk and reported and again, very nice, she said they had had a problem.
I work for a nonprofit in disaster relief so am just running in and out and do not have a lot of time to deal with a lot of these things. Staff was always very nice.

At breakfast first thing ie 06.00 am music was booming as in a night club, asked for it to be turned down or off as we didn’t want to have to shout at each other or the waiting staff. Location okay, but you’d need at car.

Ok, lets start, I was their for 4 days for a convention, if you stay here, get the room I had, a room with an outdoor patio overlooking the pool area, all these rooms are on the first floor, it was great having a drink on the patio.
Great location, when I say great location, their was a vons, behind our parking lot, big shopping center, cvs, panda express, etc. Lots of stores. The entire Hotel is covered by shopping centers everywhere. Also it was a 5 minute drive to the Harbor, with more restaurants and guess what, another shopping center, with a Ralphs, Starbucks, Shake Shack, etc.
You cannot beat this location. So much to do, and everything is walking distance.
Can it all be this great, something had to go wrong, and it did, but I still give them 5 stars for correcting the problem.
Upon checking in, my room smelled like someone had just finished smoking in it, I asked for another room, they gave me a room in the higher floors, but it wasnt as nice as the room with the outdoor patio. I went back to the front desk, and said i want my first room back, what can you do about the smell, room service came in within 5 minutes, sprayed everywhere, whatever it was, room smelled like a new car, and their was no more smell of smoke. Really did appreciate the fast response.
Since it was corrected so well, I will not take a star.
