We loved this little hotel on the beach, within a short walk to the local town for dinner. The hotel was clean, with lovely staff and a very comfortable apartment leading onto a nice pool.

This hotel is a hidden gem! The rooms are beautiful, sparkly clean, and the views are heavenly! The beds are extremely comfortable and roomy. The breakfast is wonderful and the staff could have been any more accommodating and loving, and you feel like your family there! We’ve been going there for years and love it so much!

Really nice hotel with excellent and comfortable rooms. Staff really friendly and helpful. The town of Marathopolis is quiet and not great for swimming but there are other good beaches 10-20 minutes drive away. This was the best of 4 hotels we stayed in on our 2 week holiday

Nice hotel in a good area to go exploring
Firstly, although both on the same site, and sharing the same dining room for breakfast and swimming pool, the Artina and Artina Nuovo are separate hotels. We were in Artina Nuovo which I believe has larger rooms. Our suite was a very good size with a bedroom, kitchen area which was adequate, and a lounge and good sized balcony looking out at the small port.
The room was clean, and bedding and towels were changed regularly every couple of days.
The kitchen had all the basics you would need, and the lounge had a table which comfortably sat 4 people.
The bathroom was quite small with a small shower cubicle.
The AC was very effective.
There are nice beaches a drive away which is probably just as well as the pool would not accommodate all the guests being there at the same time as there are only about 20 loungers around it.
Breakfast had a warm option (usually bacon and egg) but they varied what was on offer most days with some staples always available. My criticism was that there was either not enough or no fruit available.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Finding somewhere to sit outside can also be an issue, but it wasn't too hot inside.
It was only a short walk to the town where there are plenty of decent restaurants, a bakery and small supermarket along with a few other shops.
It is nice and quiet in the area, and there aren't many hotels like this one, so worth staying here. We would stay again if we returned to the region.

Stayed here with family. Our room was on the ground floor and was very nice. There was a discreet kitchenette and a place to eat and a couch. The bed was comfy. The linens and room was clean. The AC was a bit of a mystery, but worked and kept the room plenty cool despite the heat outside. The salt-water pool was a blessed relief from the heat and the poolside service was great. The only downside was the lack of any beach. The sea nearby was next to the port and thus uninviting.

This was a brilliant hotel. The views are amazing and the rooms lovely. Very clean and comfortable with new bathrooms installed with excellent showers. The one negative would be that our shower leaked onto the bathroom floor. Otherwise everything was great. The staff were nothing but helpful and the breakfast included was local fresh food. Would highly recommend this place!

We were disappointed to be given a room on the side although there was a sea view from the balcony. When we expressed our disappointment they pulled out all the stops to clean a room that had just been vacated. It was lovely with a big balcony overlooking the pool, sea, harbour and Proti Island. We had a studio that was big, modern and comfortable. There was a large variety at the breakfast buffet and really I can't fault the hotel in any way. I would definitely recommend specifying a sea front room when booking. I think rooms ending with 1, 2 & 3 are on the side. Ours was 204 and was great!

Schöne Aussicht vom Balkon auf den Pool und das Meer. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück war vollkommen ausreichend: es gab Orangensaft, Kaffee/Tee, Brot/Croissants, Eier/Würstchen und wechselnde griechische Spezialitäten (ebenfalls süß und deftig) sowie frische Wassermelone.

Great hotel in a remote part of Greece. We had the best stay at Artina Nuovo. Our room was spacious and with modern decor, it had all we needed, including the stunning sunset from the balcony. The pool area was fantastic with new sunbeds and the service was top both at the cafe and by the pool. A little walk from the hotel you can snorkel with lots of different fish.
